Good idea Natty.

Here's my sad little chart for this month!!!!

OP posts:
coggy · 10/10/2006 22:50

Fab progesterone level Natty....well done.

3cats...sperm can live for up to five days....so go for it!!!

MrsMc...apparently you need to BD once in pre-fertile stage to get rid of the dead sperm.....then all the 'best stuff' is ready to go around OV time.
Don't know where I read that...but did somewhere in a TTC book/magazine recently!!

OP posts:
coggy · 10/10/2006 22:50

And...sorry..........piz...hope your DD is okay now.

OP posts:
coggy · 11/10/2006 07:21

Me again......although it is another day honestly!!!

TCOYF has told me I officially begin my fertile period today....so yes...MrsMc.....we'll start getting down to business now!!!

Have any of you had a weird prediction from the fertility planner at all?
It's telling me that when we BDed on CD8 that was my BEST fertility???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!

What????!!!!!
Think it has got confused!!!!

OP posts:
Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 07:22

S**T i think i might of OVed already HELP!
here's my chart

coggy · 11/10/2006 07:25

Have you done any BDing yet?
Do it today and you should be covered if you have OV'd......if you haven't...then it doesn't hurt to get an extra session in eh??!!

OP posts:
coggy · 11/10/2006 07:30

Sorry....just remembered you're on those tablets aren't you so you can't BD anyway for these days.

Maybe this month you'll relax because you 'can't' ttc and then you'll have a nice surprise......often people get caught like that....here's hoping eh?

Natty1806 · 11/10/2006 07:32

Thanks coggy i was really pleased

babymad - are you on antibiotics? Can this increase your temp? Think you may have to rule this month out and focus on getting better.

Coggy - bit strange that the CBFM is still saying low. You best get bding

I am only on CD2 no nothing exciting to report apart from starting clomid again this evening so getting ready for hot flushes - lovely. x

Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 07:43

okay thanks ladies but as soon as I'm off them dam tabs, I'm BDing like there's no tomorrow, just in case my temp is unreliable this cycle, but I did feel shocking last night still not right today, had an headache since yesterday!

coggy · 11/10/2006 07:45

I guess (if assuming I OV on or later than CD14) then it won't show high fertility until a few more days?

The software says it's the beginning of the fertile period but still registers as LOW fertility.

I put in a BD yesterday to see what it said as I got that weird 'best' on CD8 and it says LOW!!

Think it's gone mad!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 07:48

Lol coggy! but "best" cant be bad!

Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 07:49

What does clomid do?

coggy · 11/10/2006 07:51

But it can't be right either!!!!

Clomid (traditionally) is used for people who aren't OVing.
It's heralded as a bit of a miracle cure tho for unexplained infertility.

It sorted out my short LP as I went on it even tho I was OVing....so it has some good and useful side effects too!!!!!

OP posts:
Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 08:15

We'll just have to wait and see what your software say's tomorrow!
What are the good and useful side effects?

coggy · 11/10/2006 08:19

Well it seems to sort out a few complaints...like my LP....I went on it while I was waiting for IUI....for no 'real' reason and it sorted that out 'accidently'.

No-one knew I had LP.
It also gets other hormones balanced as well as stimulating your follicles to produce more eggs.

Bad side effects are also many....some people get REALLY moody and it's 'advertised' on the Internet as the drug that husbands and partners dread!!!
I have had no negative side effects at all however.

OP posts:
Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 08:33

oh My DH already complains, he says I'm off my trolley most days! I'm having to go for a scan and x-ray in 4 weeks to find out weather my tubes are blocked and weather i have this dam PCOS!

PizPizPiz · 11/10/2006 11:14

Coggy, my dd is ok, thanks. She fell off the sofa and seemed to have a very sore arm. I had her checked up and today she's back to normal. It obviously had to happen when dh is on the other side of the Atlantic!
Well, no af this morning, temp's gone back up. But I feel a cold coming up so maybe that's just what it is. Still haven't tested !
Hope you girls are ok.

trace2 · 11/10/2006 11:18

piz your temps look really good

hi ladies hows you a;ll??

MrsMcJnr · 11/10/2006 12:38

Morning ladies - laptop in the wilderness again today so can't update but then again, I'm only CD6 so not much going on anyay. If you could see my up to date chart though you would see that I have not had a drop of booze since Sunday, I am feeling quite pleased, that is quite an achievement for me. Just shows it makes no difference to my temps though.

Coggy - did not know that about the dead sperm! Must get DH back into action then. He is away on a stag from tomorrow until Sunday so let's just hope we don't need the sperm he is producing now in 3 months time!

Tried to keep our diary really free next week as that'll be crucial BDing time for us and we need to make a real effort to get to bed early or else nothin is going to happen and I'll spend my whole fertile phase and resentful of DH, not nice. I know what you mean about the FP, it does change and it is V frustrating when the BD you think were good turns to low!

Natty - what does the omega 3-6-9 do?

3Catstoo - your chart does no seem to be updating. How are you doing?

Babymad - the meds might be affecting your temp. How is your CM? Are you feeling a bit better poor thing.

Piz - still looking good!

How are you, Stretchmarks?

Trace - nice to see you here, how are you feeling?

3catstoo · 11/10/2006 13:06

MrsMc, I thought my charts updated automatically. It seems they don't - what a pain.

Here's my latest
today

Nothing happening really. No AF but not quite fertile either. No mans land I guess.

I didn't know about the dead sperm. We're terrible, well I am actually. Never enough energy! There's always something to keep me up late so by the time I get to bed all I'm fit for is sleep!

Annoyingly DH and I are going away for the weekend next weekend, not this one. Bad timing for Ov.

Good luck in your attempts next week. Get practicing once DH gets back .

MrsMcJnr · 11/10/2006 13:15

Gosh! Your AF sticks around for a long time doesn't she! what day are you expecting to OV on? was CD15 last cycle about right for you? That is annoying about your weekend away, never mind, it means you can have a nice peaceful time and be intimate just for the hell of it!

Natty1806 · 11/10/2006 13:35

Piz - looking good i would have tested by now if i was you

Mrs - Omega 3-6-9 as thos oils you need and get from oily fish that i don't seem to ever eat.

3catstoo · 11/10/2006 13:42

My cycle is a bit all over the place.
I had a laparoscopy in July to find out what the irregular spotting and pain was. The gyny suspected endometriosis but it wasn't that. I have a prolapsed womb and some funny varicose veins in the womb. The lining is a bit bulkier than it should be so altogether these things are playing havoc. The side effects of 4 pgs and 3 births.
Since the lap my cycles have calmed down though. They used to be between 19 and 38 days. Now it's more like 26 to 32 days. It's only in the last 18 months that things started going awry.
The Gyny did say that if I wasn't pg within 4 months of the op to go and see him. Of course, I didn't think to ask why he was giving so little time to get pg.

I didn't actually tell him that DH was not so keen on number 4 as I was and that I would have my work cut out persuading him.

My reason for charting is that if on the off chance I manage to persuade DH, I know where I am in my cycle. (2 months ago DH got carried away and didn't realise that it was actually quite good timing (only based on ferning and CM). It didn't come to anything though, much to my disappointment.)

Sorry you asked when Ov would be and I gave you my life history!
TCOYF estimates Ov to be on Tuesday 17th.

Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 13:44

Is Omega 3-6-9 good for balancing hormones!?

Natty1806 · 11/10/2006 14:09

Don't think so Babymad just a supplement.

Babymad4num3 · 11/10/2006 14:43

Is anyone taking "Agnus Castus"?
