Morning ladies!
DB didn't come yesterday for some reason but DB and his GF are planning on coming down late this afternoon, chill time for me till then. Manage to BD again last night, up the odds, Good news.......wait.........wait a bit longer.........temp went very high this morning meaning I OVed yesterday, how cool is that (do they say cool still) so BDed at the right time this cycle, very please with myself, and all them sign that my body was going to OV were spot on the money, CP was high and open, CM yesterday was loads of EWCM from 10am till 6pm, had a little spot break out, very light cramping and than there was my ferns. On a high today, so happy!

OMG so sorry MrsMcJur, I would charge practice altogether if I was you, what a dick! 18 months are they for real, so sorry I hope you get your original problem sorted out soon!

Coggy are you okay? please let us know your okay!

Babymad2DS · 16/11/2006 09:39

that wasn't me that was my laptop!

MrsMcJnr · 16/11/2006 09:40

sounds like a text book cycle Babymad! The ferns have gone for me, maybe it was just dirt or something but too early really as still have a week before OV I think. Hope you've done the trick this cycle. All crossed for you.

I second that .. if you are out there Coggy, we are thinking about you.

Babymad2DS · 16/11/2006 09:43

Two Doctors at the practice I go to have also said that to me too, also they have told me NOT to use the "fertility monitors" as they get it wrong all the time too !

Natty1806 · 16/11/2006 10:01

Excellent news babymad will go chart spotting in a bit

Natty1806 · 16/11/2006 10:09

Well Babdymad, 3cats and Stretch are all in there 2 ww. Fingers crossed girls x

Ladybump should be ovulating very soon

...and me and Mrs should be getting lots of jiggy in for the next week or so. Aiming to bd tonight, hope OH is up for it.x

RachelRose · 16/11/2006 10:16

MrsMc - at the GP - thats disgusting!!!! He doesn't even to seem to know what he's doing about infections, never mind ttc - what an idiot.

Definately agree you should go back and see someone else in january if no BFP in the meantime.

stretchmarks · 16/11/2006 12:07

HI Everyone,

Not been around for a few days as I am away at a rather boring conference [yawn expression]

Coggy - thinking of you I hope the break from this helps you.

Mrsmc - sorry to hear about your Dr - Very bad that he didn't take any swabs, although back ache is inidicative of a urinary infection. But if you still feel things aren't quite right do go back to your dr's or to the GU clinic for tests as things such as BV can be symptomless in some women so worth checking out jst to make sure. I was a regular visiter to the clinic at one point in my life with numerous issues even with some that they never did manage to diagnose. Still all is well now I hope.

I am on my 2ww so a much shorter cycle this month - glad we started bding when we did as I was going to wait until the start of this week - fingers crossed it was meant to be.

Found out my friend had a missed mc last night. So that's 2 ot of 3 of us who have lost our babies in the last few months. I'm having a very philospohical day today. My bf who is still pregnant (unplanned) has had a terrible time since she conceived her fiance was involved in a car crash and is still off work with a broken back, he is self employed and they are still waiting to find out if the police are going to prosecute the car that hit him for dangerous driving. She has been literally sick with worry for him and for money as they just moved house and have a wedding and a baby coming up next year. She has said that the baby has been the only thing that has kept her OH focused on trying to get better.

Well I have rambled on. Goodluck Babymad and 3cats with your 2ww also lots of bd to everyone else

MrsMcJnr · 16/11/2006 12:25

Thanks

Hi Sideways - sorry to hear about your friends. It is horrible when friends are having a hard time like that, very worrying. I hope you have cracked it this cycle .

Well, when I said I had pains in my back Dr told me to stand up straight and then came behind me and jabbed me hard on both sides below the waist! , presumably to see if it was my kidneys (which don't hurt) but the pain is lower than that, probably just posture . I'll see what the results are like of the urine tests I guess. I will go to a well woman or GUM or somewhere if things are still odd on Monday but I do feel like things are a lot better today.

3catstoo · 16/11/2006 12:33

That's awful MrsMc. How insensative of your GP.
I'm not sure what the standard ttc time is before you can seek help. I thought it was a year for some reason.
I know my SIL was trying for 8 months and she was told it had to be a year but she was in a different area to me. Luckily she got pg after 8 months.

My gyny told me to go back and see him if I wasn't pg after 4 months this time. But I think that's more to do with my gyny problems than fertility problems, plus I am already under his care so there's no referal to be done.

Are his collegues any better to talk to?

Hope everyone else is well.
Good luck in the 2ww and with the bding in the run upto Ov.

I am full of cold today. The software crossed out my temp today, not sure why. It was 97.7 at 5.20am. Maybe it was too early to alter.
CP is still high and slightly soft but only creamy CM. Not sure what's happening.
Maybe I'm coming down with more than a cold and it's all gone a bit awry!

BBWBabeLisa · 16/11/2006 15:13

Glad ur feeling a bit better MrsMc. I'd be inclined to register with another doctor and tell them you've been trying longer than you have. As the book says, TTC using FAM for 4 months or so is on a par with someone randomly ttc for over a year, and if doctors don't get that then I'd feel quite clear in my conscience about stretching the truth a bit.

Temps still really low. Been getting sharpish pain in lower left side of abdomen for a couple of hours, but I don't know whether it's ovulatory pain. CM just doesn't seem like pre-ovulation to me (from reading the book I think thats what the dull ache I had on the lower right hand side was last cycle). I've had the teeniest wee bit of EWCM a couple of nights ago, but apart from that dry as dust. Usually I get loads of EWCM. Software seems to think I'm due to ov on Sunday but I'd be very surprised if I do. I guess it must only be basing that on last months cycle being 31 days, usually it's several days longer. Will do an ov test with next wee see if it says anything, but I'd be surprised to see a temp shift before the middle of next week.

Oh and my chart's here - not sure if I posted it before or not.

BBWBabeLisa · 16/11/2006 15:17

Actually, I just checked back to see when it was that I posted the message about the dull ache in my abdomen and it was CD29 of a 31 day cycle, so it can't have been pre-ov pain. So maybe this sharper pain is? But if it is why doesn't CM seem right? Can't wait to get a better handle on all this!

MrsMcJnr · 16/11/2006 16:34

3Catstoo - sorry to hear you are not feeling well . I'm sure there are better GPs at that practice. The one I usually see goes bright red if you try to talk to him about anything "lady" like and so maybe next time I should see a female. Let's hope that next time is just to register the pregnancy . Will go for a chart spot!

Hello BBW - how is your little girl now? Much better I hope. I know what you mean about using the FAM method, you would think that that would mean you could fast track the process with the Drs a bit wouldn't you? Could well be OV pains. I get them a few days before I OV, think it is the follicle growing or something.

ladybump · 16/11/2006 16:45

Hi all,
Hope you've had a good day. Think i have OV'd today or yesterday as had a massive 0.8 temp drop on Wed and a 0.8 raise today had EWCM this am but is getting thicker and more creamy (TMI) as the day goes on so i think deed is done. Bd's last night too so am happy i have done my best this month. Am still gonna keep BDing until my temp rises above my coverline though just in case.

Talking of poor doctors. When I had my M/C I had such as bad experience. Whilst doing and TVU they saw a shadow in my Fallopian Tube and said it was a Pregnancy in an Unknown Locationand did i have any pain on my left side. I told them i didn't have any at all and that i felt fine and i was sure it wasn't ectopic yet prepped me for theatre etc telling me I would probably loose a fallopian tube and it was just horrific. they started giving me percentages of success for future conception and it was just like a whilwind. naturally, i became hysterical. i had only gone in for bloods to see if embryo had gone on it's way. Then they looked at scan again whilst i was hysterical in cubicle all gowned up and came back in, tail between legs and said it's just the corpeus luteum which meant nothing to me at the time but now having read around the subject, how could they not know that was likely to be it when it always remains into early pregnancy.

That was not a good day. Plus they kept me in for observation for two days because it was a Friday after lunch and all the doctors had gone home. So I had to spend the weekend in a hospital surrounded by heavily pregnant women. How nice! there's no wonder TTC is tipping me over the edge...

Sorry i ranted then didin't I?

Oh well, my next baby will be good and strong and go all the way.
It's funny you think you're over these things and sometimes realise that actually you're not.

MrsMcJnr · 16/11/2006 16:52

That's good news about OV Ladybump, good work!

over your awful experience, how horrible and scary! Your future will be a great big bruiser!!

Babymad2DS · 16/11/2006 17:20

With DS2 I was only 6 weeks PG when I started bleeding, I phoned the Doctor and he said nothing they could do and that I should go in, in a few weeks time for a PG test, but now DS is now 4 yrs old and he was 8lb 14oz born and 10lb at 10days old, big baby straight into 3-6 months clothes.

Natty1806 · 16/11/2006 17:38
