Hi all,

This is a place for all manic symptom watchers to share stories and convince themselves they have each other's symptoms! Nothing like a healthy dose of mania to ease the real anxiety and worry ttc can cause!

I myself have just recently started ttc and have seen myself go from a fully rounded adult to a manic symptom checker.
So today's symptom is a pinchy like pain in my left lower abdomen...could be wind...but no...as a manic symptom checker...I'm convincing myself it's a sign of implantation!
I will share a new one everyday. Please add your own...I want to have them too&!

Correction: at least 6 days until AF is due. Today is Saturday, isn't it!!!

AF due tomorrow according to all. Doesn't feel close. Bfn today. No idea what to think.

I am in limbo land... High soft closed cervix, clear cm (had loads of creamy cm since ov now his gone clear), positive opk at 8dpo but no ov symptoms... And what looked like an evap on an hpt this morning :S af due wed going to keep testing fx

Now have really stretchy whitish coloured cm. Definitely not sperm. Did not absorb into loo paper. What is going onnn anyone else had this? Hope it is a good sign

Thank god for this thread, I thought I was going mad SS but so pleased I have crazy SS company!

My situation: had implant removed nearly 14 weeks ago. No period yet. Had blood test last week, results indicate I may have PCOS (FSH was lower than LH) so I am waiting for a scan appt. BUT! I am pretty sure I ovd last Friday (positive OPK, EWCM and v sore nipples for two or three days after), in which case my blood test results would be within the normal range for FSH & LH due to LH surge (still with me?!). For the past 4 days I have had pink spotting (only a tiny bit of v pale pink on Weds, now pale pink when I wipe). So I am obviously hopeful that this means I'm pg but realise how unlikely it is, which then makes me worry about why else would I be spotting. I guess at least it means my body is doing something, which it hasn't up until now. I have felt slightly queasy for the last few days but don't know if I'm imagining it because I'm so anxious! Other symptoms I've had are disturbed sleep/lots of dreams and a sensation in my lower abdomen.
Any ideas?! Has anyone else had spotting 6/7 dpo and it turn out to be something else?
What's the general consensus on the earliest you can test? So tempted to do a quick ic now but I'm only 8 dpo!

I'm still feeling like af will arrive at any minute. Keep nipping to the loo to check.
Will test again in morning then prob just wait to see if af will show.
Just got a feeling that its not my month this month x

Poas update. With only 2 days to my af im still getting a bfn so think I'm out this month.

I have no ics left and only one frer but I will only use that if I'm late which I can't see happening.
Bit disappointed but at least I can gear up to do it all again next month xx

BFN on DPO12. AF due today apparently. Suspect I'm out this month but will keep testing until AF.

It's not over until AF ladies! Keep the faith.

I'm back to the manic symptom watching again today! I'm 90% sure it's a no but one of my nipples is feeling sore..... and that was my first symptom with dd (though not ds, by that time I think they were so tough after a year of bf that I wouldn't have noticed!). 5 days until when I think af is due, but not really sure.

Idlefolly, 8dpo is way too early. I was reading up on this and you don't release the hormone until after implantation. The official advice if you don't know when af was (or in your case, haven't had one) is 21 days after attempt. But I did that when trying for dd, I'd just come off the pill and hadn't had a natural period yet. I got a bfn after 21 days but was actually pregnant. I didn't find out until I was 7 weeks as I didn't think to retest, I got bronchitis and the doctor tested me before prescribing antibiotics as I said we were trying. Imagine my surprise when he told me it was a bfp!

AF is 2 days late. No sign of her arrival either. Just poas.....BFN :( absolutely gutted.

Thanks 2down. I did poas this morning, knowing full well that is would be a BFN...and it was. I still have spotting though, which seems to be increasing in amount and getting darker red (still not enough to be AF but not what I'd imagine implantation to be like either). This is day 5 of spotting if you count the v pale pink spot on Weds. Today I have had intense period pain as well, so much so that I had to resign to the sofa with a blanket and hot water bottle. But no blood. Baffled. I have also been crying most of the day, triggered by tear-jerkers such as the great British bake off master class. Totally confused. Thinking body is waking up but why so soon after ovulating? Is it just confused??

Idle - had a bit of spotting last month which increased then turned into AF eventually but it was ridicously early for me so I came to the conclusion that I had ovulated for the first time and my body was adjusting! But I also got a bit of spotting after ovulating this month which turned into nothing so googled like a crazy woman and found you can have ovulation bleeding too! As if we needed another reason to worry us! X

Hi mumwannabe, thanks for your message. Had you been on hormonal contraception then? I'm am pleased that at least something is happening after nearly 14 wks of nothing. My doctor told me that as I should've had an AF by 12 wks post-implant removal there is something else wrong so I guess I'm just really anxious about timings and hormone levels etc...I've got to have a scan to check for PCOS but hoping that the suspicious FSH/LH levels are due to ovulation not PCOS. I have no other symptoms (I'm not overweight, hirsute, spotty etc...) but I know that doesn't mean I haven't got it. I hate this feeling of desperation! V tempted to get a puppy to satisfy my mothering instinct!! I hope everyone else is doing ok and not driving themselves mad. xxx

I was on microgynon which stopped me from ovulating but didnt stop the period bit so when I came off it, the length of cycle changed almost immediately but I'm pretty sure I hadn't ovulated!
Sorry you have a lot to be anxious about, its bad enough when you know things are working normally and just not getting BFP but hopefully everything will be OK with your scan check xx
Oh and I got 2 kittens a month after coming off the pill and they keep me smiling all the time

Just realised my first bit is confusing, I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate immediately, ovulating now, confirmed with OPK last weekend!

Evening all. I've stil got all my af symptoms :( due on Tuesday.
Thought I might have come on early with all the symptoms ive had bit nothing. Just lots of symptoms at the moment :(

Is butterflies / fluttery tummy a symptom??!! My tummy feels most peculiar, not bad just odd.

I got a v, v, v faint positive this morning but not convinced so will do another with tomorrow's FMU.

Gillian not sure about the fluttery tummy but the faint positive sounds promising! But it's a bonafide bfp tomorrow.

I just find it hard to believe that something I've always wanted might actually be happening. Kind of hoping for the best but preparing for the worst I guess.

Another bfn for me this morning :( af due tomorrow. Still feeling very boated and crampy. Pretty sure she will arrive Bang on time.
