Hi all,

This is a place for all manic symptom watchers to share stories and convince themselves they have each other's symptoms! Nothing like a healthy dose of mania to ease the real anxiety and worry ttc can cause!

I myself have just recently started ttc and have seen myself go from a fully rounded adult to a manic symptom checker.
So today's symptom is a pinchy like pain in my left lower abdomen...could be wind...but no...as a manic symptom checker...I'm convincing myself it's a sign of implantation!
I will share a new one everyday. Please add your own...I want to have them too&!

Symptom update: DH says my face has changed shape. Slight spotting last night, but nothing since.

Of course, this could simply be the prelude to a nasty AF.

Why do so many symptoms of pregnancy be the same as AF
Had massive blubbery episode in front of poor DH yesterday so evil AF probably on way too. Will just have to treat myself to a cheeky wee drink and all else one can't have if preggers

So true, bygones. In the meantime the DH is strutting around like the cock of the walk. I worry he's in for more of a disappointment than me!

Just tell your DH if no luck this month that he can look fwd to a lot more of the deed next month! My DH has been lovin the "baby making"! He like most men has a bigger sex drive than me an has been relishing telling me that we need to DTD when I am not in the mood!

I, too, was really looking forward to a bit of baby making fun. He, however, is now utterly convinced that I'm pregnant because I apparently smell different.

I think I just need a shower.

Well having an altered sense of smell is good indication of a future BFP.....not sure though when it is DH having it

Ooh so glad I found this thread, found whilst being a maniac and googling my 'symptoms'. For the last couple of days I have been convinced of sore boobs, tiredness and now the best one yet, burping!!! I NEVER burp, but all of a sudden I literally wake up in the morning needing to have a little 'girly' burp! haha!! So I have totally convinced my self I must be!!!
I don't know why we do it to ourselves, it causes so much dissapointment when AF arrives! But I can't switch off and not think about it.

I've been having weird burping things too, but it's more like bubbling. Like little burp bubbles without actually having to burp. Could be from anxiety about having to travel (just flew back from Spain), but it usually doesn't manifest with bubbling burps.

Still managed to dodge the evil AF but I think she will catch me over weekend Good luck to anyone else avoiding her too!

HELP! I am driving myself mad!!! When did I become so obsessed!!! I have been really gassy (burps) continuously for 3-4 days and never have this normally. They feel like a bubble stuck in my chest sometimes too. Now I have tender boobs, and nipples....wow they are hard ALOT and tender! Sorry if tmi! AF has been varied each month so hard to tell but I would say she is due in 7-8 days, so too early to test. I am pretty sure most people will think I am mental for not being able to wait a few days before testing but it's taking up all my brain space!! I need to know. Ahhhhh rant over, glad I have put it out there :)) My DH is so laid back he thinks I am crazy. This is #3 btw, I have two gorgeous boys 6+2 xx

I know how you feel fixup. My DH only ever gets worked up if I am not in mood for DTD and then the baby chat comes out. Otherwise it's "it will happen when it happens"
I am CD24 and ovia says I can POAS tomo but I am not sure this month is it , as lots of AF symptoms.
Hang in there and your time to POAS will come

Oh I feel at home here this month!
So AF ended on 3rd Jan. I Ovulated on either Friday/Sat. Woke up on Monday with a stinker of a cold. Sore throat runny rose the lot. Google says it's a symptom. Then the other day I had a cramp in lower left abdomen. Obviously a sign. Plus now I always feel sickly through the day. Only snaking helps.

Only logical explanation is that I'm pregnant - cos ya know google told me. Doesn't matter that it's too early to really have all those symptoms as pregnancy signs lol. Google never steers you wrong

Bygones - DH is a nightmare, he phoned me up at work earlier and said 'I'll pop out later and get you a test from the supermarket' I said ooh thanks, I was going to go to town and get one tomorrow but then I'd have to wait until Wednesday morning to test' His reply 'oh well you might as well wait until then' Argh!!! NO clue of the agonising, am I, aren't I. If I'm not, why on earth have I got sore boobs and ridiculously hard nipples and couldn't even face a bacon and egg sarnie yesterday, unheard of!!!

I would only probably be 3 weeks, but I'm assuming I may be getting early symptoms because it's number 3??

May I join in? I've been having cramps on and off for a week now, AF not due until Saturday/Sunday (it's been a little bit messed up since misscarriage last year). Other symptoms in past week have been headaches and a runny nose but no cold. Last night I had terrible wind, kept waking myself up with room-shaking parps . Have bought some cheap POAS, May crack and do one tomorrow as I'm sure I ovulated a few days earlier this month. I hate the week running up to AF, I always turn into a crazy lady!

May I join?

TTC cycle 1 for first child eeeek. So nothing absolutely nothing to compare to.

Today 3 DPO I have started feeling a very obvious cramp in my lower abdomen. The exact sensation which happens the day before AF - a full, downward pulling sensation almost and a light dull lower abdomen cramp. This is not something I am imagining so I sincerely hope it's nothing ominous. Like I said - if this wasn't bloody day 15 of my cycle, only three days list ovulation, I would have assumed AF is knocking on the door. It's like a dull cramp and a pulled taut sensation lower abdomen.

Anyone ever had this?!

Fixup are you able to chat to DH about the pressure he is putting on you? Fingers crossed you will get a BFP but maybe sitting down with him and letting him know how realistic it is for how long it may take you guys.
Nice though that he is so excited to have a family with you.

Welcome to the others. After AF arriving again I am gonna try and ignore any symptoms ( yeah right!!!)
As I am ttc#1 I have no idea what the real symptoms are!!! Good luck to all xoxo

Bygones- oh no I think I have typed away and not read it back. As in how it reads to someone else. The pressure is all from me, I had mentioned wanting a test because of sore boobs etc and he phoned to say he'd get one after he finished work. He's not capable of pressure he's too laid back! Haha! It's me being super impatient. I am desparate to know, and hate waiting but if I test too early and get a BFN I won't be sure how accurate it is.

Aaah I see! It could also be me... On Nightshift so a bit of a space cadet.
I would encourage not testing too early as I think it is worse not seeing that line than AF arriving. Plus saves you a few pennies

I cracked, BFN of course. Work up in a total for irrational bad mood today, think the red lady will be here in a couple of days. Ah well always next month! Some sexy firemen outside my workplace right now, cheered me right up

I done it. POAS and got a BFP!!! Super excited!!!
