Hi all,

This is a place for all manic symptom watchers to share stories and convince themselves they have each other's symptoms! Nothing like a healthy dose of mania to ease the real anxiety and worry ttc can cause!

I myself have just recently started ttc and have seen myself go from a fully rounded adult to a manic symptom checker.
So today's symptom is a pinchy like pain in my left lower abdomen...could be wind...but no...as a manic symptom checker...I'm convincing myself it's a sign of implantation!
I will share a new one everyday. Please add your own...I want to have them too&!

3-4 DPO here. Weird lower abdominal heaviness and pinched cramping on lower-left continues. I have (1) never had this before at this time of the month and (2) pinching and cramping is pinching and cramping, not imagining it.

No idea what it means, or if it means anything. It's just there :(

Bygones, Feb deff seems a great time to get some (hopefully fil visit won't be too long next month grrr ). Its true AF isn't here yet, but the negative today has calmed me a bit anyway, if there's no sign of it by Saturday I may do another - usually makes it come along after POAS.

Focus, cramping is defiantly an early symptom, however I have also discovered it can also be mistaken for a bit of gas .

I am currently comforting myself with all the things I won't be able to do or have after BFP.....hairdressers (currently there!) large G&Ts and soft soft cheeses mmmmm

Oh cheese, I bloody love cheese. Have a roule at home ready to meet some crackers. Partner has promised me a day in bed with wine and a cooked dinner on Sunday, a part of me is praying that this isn't my month

Can I join? First month ttc just off mercilon pill. Think I'm 4/5 dpo. My boobs are heavy, swollen and sore, and my nipples feel like they are being stabbed if anything (including water) touches them!desperate sign or post pill hormones!

Well I am 4/5 DPO today. Same as last couple of days continues. I occasionally let out a "ow-ow-ow" and dpup/dh looks at me in bewilderment.

All day last day I felt the same pinching sensation like pinch, pinch pinch and then off (all lower abdomen, maybe slightly to the left, well yes left central). So this happens and I go ow ow ow,then it goes away. Five minutes later happens again.

This morning it's been joined by a bubbly wobbly flutter a couple of times lowest abdomen and twinges on my inner and outer labia plus the occasionally pinching.

It's my first ever TTC attempt so I have zilch, nada to compare it to!

7DPO and driving myself nuts (first time ttc and first month) haven't had any symptoms except maybe a few cramps, but I have pain in my abdomen due to IBS a lot anyway so who knows! so hoping you guys don't mind me joining in, don't want to keep going on to hubby about it

Focusfocus I'm the same, nothing to compare it to, got so many symptoms. Think I even had the metallic taste a couple of times (I say think, because it reminds me of the taste you get from nasal spray)

ages before I can test which is driving me insane ! Maybe your pain is implantation? I read a couple of people saying they thought a similar pain was implantation. But I'm clutching at straws for everything so take that with a pinch of salt x

So I did another test and I think it was defunct. Bloody poundland, the test window took ages to fill, a bit of wee got stuck, and basically left two lines, one being stupidly faint. Anyway, I've decided it was probably a false positive, him indoors is paying for a proper one tomorrow. Boobs are killing me tonight and cramps on both sides. Also came down with some weird sore throat/virus yesterday so obviously that's a sign and not having some world class, head fuck of pms

I am now 7 DPO and those niggling lower abdomen cramps have started again. Today it was different - I was standing at a bus stop when at my lowest abdomen I felt someone had taken a pin and pricked me with it's head - it went prick pause prick pause prick pause for about 30 pin pricks. I was totally busy looking at bus schedules when this happened, and it took my attention off enough to miss a bus so haven't imagined it.

But no other symptoms at all :( no spotting of any kind, no discharge really to make note of, no sore boobs, nausea anything :(

I am out this month but fingers crossed for a BFP on valentines day. My lovely DH is going to be jumped on all month! Feeling positive for February.

Pixa i seem to be on sync with you! AF just leaving and will be persuading DH to DTD which will be hard as he is on Nightshift next week so some sexy tactics might be needed

Well, I bought another test today. Was a nightmare walking to town when I really really needed a wee but managed it somehow! Couldn't wait, took it at work.... and it's two lines! I feel a bit guilty jumping in and straight out of this thread, think it would have been fun manic symptom checking with everyone . Anyway, truly all the best you guys, hoping you all get your positives asap!

Currently 8dpo. Last night I felt sick after eating (not like me!) Also when I went to bed, had some odd pinching pains on the left hand side of my abdomen.

Hope it's not my body messing me about!

bygones, I am so with you on sexy tactics. Still trying to avoid OPKs, temping and charting - definitely trying to keep things exciting!

Hi girls,

Im hating the waiting so much and the obsessing over symptoms and only on 1st month of TTC.
Have had really bad and constant menstral type pains for the past 4 days which got so bad today I had to leave work half way through the day. Also had back pains and felt dizzy. These symptoms are not what I usually experience before a period so called 111 and then got an emergency dr appt.
Dr was very thorough and ruled out urine infection and ectopic pregnancy. She did a pregnancy test there and then which was negative but Im not due on till tomorow - mid next week. Have 27 - 34 day cycles. So am hoping my period wont come and I can test again. Any tips on dealing with a negative or period turning up as am sure Im gonna be so upset and disapointed though I know its rare to concieve on the first try.

Hopefully you won't need the tips but when I have had bfn or new it was not the month I would treat myself to something I could not have or do if it was a BFP. Usually I take myself down the spa

Pixa I am total opposite got a lot of testing paraphernalia!!!! Don't know if it adds to the madness or helps it!!!

Butterfly, bygones advice is fab. I do the same. The start of AF is known as cheese and wine night!

Bygones, I keep saying if we don't get a bfp this month I will get the OPKs for next month, but I keep ruling it out. We have been ttc since Sep, I think if we get to March I will definitely move onto OPKs. We have been talking about TTC-ing for so long, it's so frustrating that it isn't happening.
