Evening lovelies. I've finally caught up but good grief you girls can chat!
News in the purple house is that I now have insulin pens to inject myself with. Haven't started yet though, I'm a bit scared.
The nurse also told me that it will take 4-6 months for my sugar to be low enough for TTC again. I'm gutted! I really thought it would be a couple of months max.
I've had a few symptoms in the last couple of days but I'm pretty sure it's nothing

Hi purple glad you're on the right road although that does sound frustratingly long are there risks if you ttc before your sugars get low enough? ( I am naughty and usually ignore advice and do my own thing) Fx if you have symptoms though, will add you to my mental list along with chat and wiggly

Yeah they think high blood sugar is what caused the mc
It can also cause birth defects, pre eclampsia, and god knows what else.
I'd have said sod it and thrown caution to the wind if it weren't for the foetal abnormalities...I'd never forgive myself if that happened due to me not waiting a few months.

From my contraband temping estimations I seem to have ovulated cd12. I normally ovulate cd20-24 and the month I got bfp it was cd17 so this is very odd. But presumably it's due to mc.

I am just going to keep shagging eod and hope for the best this cycle.

purple it's good to hear they have your diabetes under management but I can totally understand frustration having to wait to ttc. Is there anything they can do to help when you start again?

lil how long til testing? I think LOS is good - if you don't get to relax and have fun sometimes life would be pretty miserable.

Had lunch at caluccios with mr b today. Loads of families in the restaurant as you'd expect, but group of 4 adults and 3 kids behind us had obviously been there for some time - lots of empty glasses and kids asking if they can go home soon. Kids get noisier and noisier until we couldn't actually have a conversation so I leant over and had a word - to be given a barrage of 'this is a family restaurant you know' and 'you clearly don't have children'. Mr b got the right hump, I cried into my antipasti and they left with some very embarrassed apologies. Lovely lunch all round.

:( bother I'm so sorry that sounds awful. It's not fair of folk to say to others they are not entitled to object to noise because they don't have children. When I was a kid I went to restaurants with my parents and if I misbehaved I was taken home. I get so annoyed with folk who don't educate their children to eat out at a restaurant without disturbing others. I'm not saying they shouldn't be children and make a little noise or chatter, just as long as it's not disturbing others.

It was very rude of them.

Thanks la. I agree - we expect there to be kids in a restaurant like that, and there were at least 12 others who wereno trouble at all. We don't expect it to be a quiet environment but do expect to be able to have a conversation with each other. One of the dads bought his child over to apologise to us which I though was very manipulative - we weren't blaming the kids, we were blaming the parents...They were just allowing the kids to do what they wanted because they fancied another bottle of wine. Poor boy looked terrified. Humph.

Cookie I certainly am! DP and I have been watching ever since we got together, it started around that time :) I've started joking when it finishes we'll have to break up! have you seen any of season 7?!
