Thanks la on the upside I have the huge silver lining of a very ordinary cycle last month! no bfp obvs but all indicators pointed towards I actually ovulated which is great!! This cycle has started badly 10 days of af so far but I feel very positive and there are so many miracle stories out there that dh and I feel strongly that we have to give my body a chance !!
Being part of this Fred has helped no end, not feeling so alone has been great. Reading everyone else's stories reminds me that lots of people have problems and get a very happy ending. Speaking of which; any news twotters?? Gx for another bfp on here soon xx

Tink I see where you're coming from. One of my friends knew early on she would never conceive normally. She considered adoption, but decided to have one shot at donor egg IVF. She has a two-month-old bundle of joy to show for it, and is considering using the frozen siblings in a year or so. Science rocks, but it isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Bother I was a twat and POAV (that's peed on a viola...what a ridiculous name for a pregnancy test I think I might market my own and call it Nigel Farage so I can pee on Nigel Farage) this morning and got a BFN. It was a stupid thing to do because AF isn't due til Tuesday. I shouldn't have bought the tests so early...it's like having a cupboard full of chocolate...it calls to you...grrrrrrrr.

Anyway, have spent the day feeling like an idiot for convincing myself I'm upduffed again and for stopping JSing early because I was so certain I was upduffed and now wondering if I've wasted a month. Need to give myself a hooyah.

I'll test again on Monday because that's when my blood tests are.

Aw reading everyone's posts makes me think that trying to conceive is rubbish for everyone in its own way. You're all so lovely, it really helps. Thank you

tink everyone is right. only you can know if its right for you. If you think you might want to reconsider I'd suggest going down the referral route and getting the details, then you can make an infirmed decision. I also know a few people who have adopted and have a wonderful family as a result. its an amazing thing to do and whatever route you choose it will work out for the best.

Tink I used to be a social worker and therefore love to hear about people considering adoption. There are so many kids deserving of a loving family. It can be a difficult process but you can say the same about IVF and parenting in general. It's something that's completely personal to you and DH. Giving your body a chance is definately a good idea first though and they'll ask you about that (and IVF) during the adoption process if you decide to go down that route.
