Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

my cape is going to be a mural of a calm meadow scene this month because I'm keeping calm and not letting it get to me. I'm not living month to month any more, I'm working on a five month cycle to until we get to the ivf and praying for a miracle bfp in the meantime

i think it has literally just hit me posting that that we are infertile. I'm going to have to have science put a baby in me. this happens to other people! I remember joining this thread a few months after we started ttc and thinking I'd be next after every bfp. how the absolute fuck did I get here.

OK moment of panic realisation over. just gotta keep on keeping on I guess! sorry for the mammoth me post, and if ur still reading thanks for listening lol

lil you'll get there - stay positive the ivf has worked for so many people who had otherwise given up. Think you make a good point about living month to month though. It's a crap way to live for a long time - I am not as far down the ttc road as you and I'm fed up with it so I can only imagine how much more frustrating it is for you. I have two friends who, like you, thought it was never going to happen. Thankfully they are both now mothers through ivf.

la I think being where you are is harder. once we got tests and had a reason, and more importantly got into the system, it got easier in a weird way. fx all of us who are stuck in limbo get that miracle bfp soon!

I didn't know that about pants snot! Wow! I thought that I'd be waiting for a while until my AF returned (bloody Depo injection) but I have been getting pants snot for the past two months around the same time each month :O I really need to read up more on icing! lol!

TTC : Feb 13 started IVF journey as DH had vasectomy. 3 cycles; 2 successful but sadly m/c and 1 BFN. DH reversed his vasectomy on
May 14 and by June I had a BFP but sadly m/c again. TTC naturally until both of us can't take it anymore and will go down IVF route again.
DC : Take home babies none, but I have 3 angels.
Taking supplements everyday like there is no tomorrow!

Just wanted to say to Lil that IVF does work. I know many people that it has worked out for them and now have beautiful babies. It is not as romantic as TTC naturally but when it's month after month of disappointments even naturally turns out to be as unromantic as IVF lol.

Symptoms:
Mood swings
Some bleeding yesterday (only enough for on tissue- put in tampon thinking it was AF- none on tampon after an hour. AF normally heavy)
Cramping- mild yesterday. A bit worse today.
Everything smells really strongly. Things I've never even noticed before. I've just thrown the front room rug out because it stinks and booked a carpet cleaner. DP thinks I've gone mad
I'm very very tired by about 8pm.

AF is due Monday. So tell me off please everyone!

patiently I have no idea if I am icing. I just know I've not had a period for 5 years due to the injection and since coming off the injection I've been having icing "symptoms" but it could be anything I guess?

I'm seeing a doctor Friday for totally non-baby related things so I might ask them then :)

With regards to pant snot and ovulation, it depends on the type of pant snot. Also it is possible to get ewcm without ovulating although usually it is a sign. clearly spent far too long examining my own secretions.
