TTC First Time - Anyone else?

My husband and I are TTC! I have been off the pill for a month now and have started taking folic acid and calcium with vit D to ensure if anything does happen I'm as healthy as possible. Limiting caffeine and alcohol but not cutting it out completely as you never know how long it will take! All my friends have just fallen pregnant really easily, but I have a feeling this will not be the case for me. I can't remember when my last period was either which is annoying as will need to wait for the next one before I can chart etc. Hmm Is anyone else out there TTC now? We could all share our stories and encourage each other! Smile

Tested this morning - BFN, so looking forward to a weekend of AF. Not really sure how I feel about it but hey ho. Want to see Katy's results though!

CD27 now. Having a proper down day, very depressed. Not really sure why, though im staring to wonder if it's just that my hormones have gone crazy after coming off the pill. Not holding much hope for AF not arriving.

hopefully next month will bring better news (and no bloody period pain) for all of us ...

Only cycle 1 after coming off the pull so that is why I'm not holding out hope. AF due tomorrow or the next day. Have a hellish weekend of work ahead but at least I'll be distracted. Have had a nice night with DH though so I'mpretty content just now :)

Katybear123 · 13/06/2014 17:17

Hi everyone, sorry been a little absent crazy with work. I tested this am bfn, and ironically then started spotting at lunchtime. Not sure if it's af as more colour cm at the mo, maybe an implantation bleed I guess as dtd last night just in case got bfn. I think it's af though, have had stomach bug I thought since wed but maybe it's af symptoms god I hope not as has me flying to loo tmi - sorry

Katy any update?
Still no AF yet but I did come off the pill mid packet. Not really sure what to think!

Futter · 15/06/2014 15:22

Hi kittenmama I've had no AF yet either after coming off the pill ... But boobs are mega sore today so I'm thinking it won't be long...

kittenmamma · 15/06/2014 23:07

Flutter when are you due AF based on a 28 day cycle?

Futter · 16/06/2014 07:06

I have no idea yet...I was on cerazette due to horrendous periods but I've been on it for years so who knows what my cycle will be! :-( previously to that my cycle was usually more around the 6 week mark.

kittenmamma · 16/06/2014 10:42

Its very confusing isnt it. I was on microgynon but only for a couple of years. I had a regular cycle, totally normal, always on time or a day late max, and ivI've come off of it at least twice and always got a period 4 weeks after my withdrawal but that's me 3 days late now.

kittenmamma · 16/06/2014 20:01

Oh Hello AF, how lovely it isn't to see you. Purple rain cocktails already being consumed!

Katybear123 · 16/06/2014 20:12

Ah sorry to hear that kitten, still no af there think this ruddy pill has messed me right up. Day 35 now!!

kittenmamma · 17/06/2014 19:08

Katy it seems like it really does mess with the system. It's really difficult though because it's impossible to know if it's just the pill or if you're pregnant.
