I can't do the slap h as it could be something much more positive! I don't know much about implantation bleeding but the fact its been brown n not red could make a difference to your thinking, especially with your cramping.. You might need to give it a day or two n poas maybe? ?

Haha whoops! Thanks for the positivity but I'm pretty sure it'll turn in to AF some point this week! On the very remote chance it doesn't I'll possibly poas at weekend but can't see it happening!

Hi, everyone!

Just dropping in to say hello and see how everyone is. Just come to the end of the busiest week ever! Discovered last Wednesday that I'm slightly less straightforward than previously thought - according to my midwife my blood tests came and I'm O Negative (didn't know this...and this makes me special), so usefully this makes me rhesus negative and I will either end up having the anti-d injection in about 10 weeks time, or end up being monitored closely for the last trimester...joy of joys. Oh well, not too serious at this stage!

Hope you're all well!

binkybunny · 16/04/2014 07:05

Hi all just keeping going here. Good days are more than sicky days and feeling loads better. I have a huge bump too but think some of it is food and bloating still!

Kiki thats a bit rubbish but its not too bad is it? One of my friends was rhesus negative and I think she just had the injections. She is a bit of a drama queen though so I have been trying to ignore all her pregnancy and labour advice!

Misskjb I'm on the October antenatal thread. Its generally quite good but was a little scary to start with. We have a Facebook group too which I like.

binkybunny · 16/04/2014 07:06

Sorry couldnt finish post!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. H has af arrived yet?

KikiThePea · 16/04/2014 08:51

Hi binky! Glad to hear that you're well.
No, it's not too serious at all. The mw said that it's likely to be very simple and I'll just have the injection. The only time a problem could arise would be if my body has already made the antibodies to fight against the 'intruder' (poor baba being referred to in such terms! Haha), at which point I can't have the injection and would end up seeing medical staff on a much, much more regular basis to be poked and prodded. In reality, at this stage it seems more of a minor inconvenience than something to be worried about!

On the plus side when the mw used the Doppler to listen for the heartbeat she looked incredibly surprised when she hadn't so much as just touched my stomach before we all heard the baby - especially considering her caveat of 'we might not be able to hear it at all, and could be just too small to find quickly.' Nope...show-off baby strikes again!

mrshjb · 16/04/2014 08:53

Morning, glad you're all doing well. Kiki hope the blood thing doesn't become too much of an issue.

Binky AF is due today, had the first signs of red blood this morning (sorry TMI) and feeling a little bit crampy so think she might be on her way. But it's been such a confusing few days, so I won't believe she's here until she properly is. Feeling a bit miserable really. Not about the prospect of AF being here, but about the nightmare that has been coming off the pill. Every cycle has thrown something new and evil at me! Kinda losing hope of getting a bfp any time soon. Anyways enough moaning, hopefully AF will properly start today so I can pull myself together and move on!

Hope you're all enjoying the lovely sunshine :)

mrshjb · 16/04/2014 09:04

Ah AF is now officially here!! Actually really relieved :)

Sorry Kiki think you posted at the same time as me! Laughed at the show off baby. Bet it's lovely to hear the heartbeat!

chillychicken · 16/04/2014 10:09

H I'm also really relieved for you! That's a much better cycle length!

Kiki hope everything goes ok with your bloods.

misskjb I'm on the December thread but there isn't much you can say at this point! Haha!

I'm 5+6 today. Horrendous mood swings, cramps ease occasionally and then come back at full force (like at 2am this morning, although it may have been trapped wind Grin) and nausea has well and truly kicked in. Oh and I've gone from not being at all hungry ever to needing to eat everything in sight. Midwife appointment is on 28th when I'll be 7+4 so not too long to wait. Still terrified something will go wrong but I'm trying to keep positive. Oh and I am exhausted!

I've got really fed up with people commenting on why I'm not drinking so I bought some "schloer celebration" which looks exactly like cava. I poured a glass of it, put it on the table amongst the snacks we had on Sunday in the garden and put a photo of it on facebook! Friend commented straight away Grin So friend is all smug that I couldn't do 30 days off the booze which is excellent because I think she was beginning to guess. I'm not lying either, I had a glass of fizz. It just wasn't alcoholic fizz Wink

mrshjb · 16/04/2014 11:46

Thanks Chilly :) Yeah a 35 day cycle is so much better, really hope it settles down in to this every month now! (just minus the 4 days of spotting if possible please!)

Sounds like pregnancy is well and truly happening to you now!! I think I should enjoy feeling reasonably well whilst I can from the things you lot are saying!!

Haha clever ploy with the schloer! I'll definitely remember that one!!

Ladymillion · 16/04/2014 14:58

Hey everyone, hope you're all okay, I'm technically on the November antenatal thread but haven't been posting on there as there's so many people I feel like I can't keep up with everyone's stories. Much prefer a smaller chat like this thread. Currently 10+2 and back to work after 2 weeks off Hmm Booked another private scan for when I'm 11 weeks as my '12 week scan' will actually be when I'm 13 weeks and I can't wait that long Blush

H I'm glad your cycle has decided to be an acceptable length this time, that's great news. Really rooting for your BFP, you've been a great support for us lot, got everything crossed for you Smile

Lolly84 · 16/04/2014 17:15

Hi Ladies

Glad you are all ok.

Helen great news on a shorter cycle. Great they are regulating so you know what's happening. Good Af came before poas!! You going to track ovulation next cycle??

Kiki never heard of rhesus neg, I don't have a clue what blood type I am. Good you knows what they need to do.

I am not on any threads just use baby centre app to track pregnancy. Just don't want to read any scary stories. Loving my pregnancy a-z book.

I have had a bit of a tough time with migraines recently. I usually have them quarterly but I have had 5 since being pregnant which isn't great!! Looked into it and was surprised to read that migraine sufferers usually have less migraines but there are the unlucky few that have many more. Started to get quite anxious about them but makes it worse!! Just need to remember it's all part and parcel of this journey. Not been sick but had few shaky moments. Have mw home visit next Friday where I will be at the end of my 8th week! All I can say is roll on the scan!!!

X

mrshjb · 17/04/2014 06:31

Thanks Lady that's really nice of you. Bet you're looking forward to your next scan. I think I'd be exactly the same. I'm such a worrier! Are the pregnancy threads like the buses?! Never joined one of those because I think keeping up with the conversation would be a full time job!

lolly thanks for that, I was definitely glad not to have to see a bfn again! I think I'm actually a POAS phobic now! Yeah I'm really hoping that they have started to get better. I did have one long cycle, then a short, then a long, then this is a short, so really hoping the next one isn't going to be a long one! I temped last month and I found it really useful. My graph was exactly what I'd have expected it to be and it totally matched with the ewcm so I'm going to do that again next month. I'm having a break whilst AF is here and then might start around CD10-12 ish!

Hope you've all got lovely plans for the bank holiday weekend :)

weebairn · 17/04/2014 17:10

Helen I mostly come back here to wave pom-poms for you. Sorry you got your period but hopefully this is a sign of more regular cycles and a BFP on the way!

I am just over 16 weeks now and in a better stage of pregnancy, no sickness any more and the tiredness not so bad - am managing to have fun days running around with my toddler rather than lying on the floor while she climbs on me! I think I have felt movements, just little flutters, once this week and once a fortnight ago. Can't wait till they're more regular, they're the best thing about being pregnant I think!

I think I am just starting to get a wee little bump. There was nothing 2 days ago but it's suddenly there. Still wearing normal clothes to work and haven't told anyone there - bit nervous to really. I have only had one sick day but feel like I've been a bit shit all year. I think I am just feeling paranoid/vulnerable. I am on nights next week so will be in scrubs and no one will notice/care, but maybe the week after that.

I have dipped into the Sept and Oct antenatal group (as I'm due last day of Sept!) but they're very busy and I like it better here, fingers crossed we can make our own thread very soon :)

weebairn · 17/04/2014 17:13

kiki how lovely to hear the heartbeat :) :)

My 16 week appointment isn't till next week when I'll be 17 and a half weeks - really hope I get to hear the heartbeat too - that's my favourite thing - far prefer it to scans (which just worry and scare me!)

misskgb · 17/04/2014 18:06

Great to hear from everyone! Jealous you've waited til 16 weeks to show weeb-I feel huge!!!

lolly hope the migraines don't last too long. My headaches have got a little worse but uts probably more to do with not eating n drinking properly

Ive not moved over yet, had a couple of glances but not really wanted to stay!

OP posts:
binkybunny · 17/04/2014 21:10

Hi everyone. wee cant believe you are just showing. I am huge! Think I have eaten way too much though. I too have felt a few flutters this last week. Its a bit scary and exciting all at the sametime!

I def prefer this thread. I'm struggling with some of the things happening on my antenatal one at the moment!

H pleased in a way AF arrived. Here's to next month and enjoy feeling good, drinking wine and eating rare steak/ runny eggs/ blue cheese while you can Grin

misskgb · 18/04/2014 09:08

Just enjoy eating whilst you can! Haha Smile

OP posts:
binkybunny · 19/04/2014 08:44

Def enjoy eating while you can. I've just had a complete teary breakdown because a smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel made me gag. I am running out of food I can eat especially for breakfast Sad

misskgb · 19/04/2014 16:39

I could only eat plain bagel, chicken in any kind of breadcrumbs or crisps for a while. Don't really get morning sickness anymore but my appetite has definitely changed- refuse to eat pasta & bread is hit n miss!!!
