Glad to hear that you have AF for sure!!!

I always take my tablets in the morning....just because that's when I take my pre-natal vits.
I take the vit tablet with fruit juice cos it's suppose to help them do their thing (?!) so I just have the clomid at the same time so I don't forget it!

I don't suppose it really matters?

Rachee · 11/09/2006 16:16

Natty1806 · 11/09/2006 17:45

coggy · 11/09/2006 19:52

Just phoned the local surgery to book in my hcg jab and they haven't got space for me!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllp!!!

I need to phone back in the morning to see what they can do.

Oh bugger, bugger, bugger!!!
Again!!

OP posts:
coggy · 11/09/2006 19:53

What I meant to say was........sounds like a good idea to take them in the evening...then if you do have those side effects you'll be asleep.

Top plan there Rachee!!!

DD1ofcolandgerry · 11/09/2006 19:56

Natty1806 · 11/09/2006 19:59

Thanks DD1

That is what i though just in case i do have any side effects.

What you going to do coggy??????

coggy · 11/09/2006 21:15

Well I phoned at 4.45 and they said they'd phone me back to see what could be done!!

Waited and waited...a friend phoned me at 5.55pm JUST AT THE SAME TIME AS THE SURGERY!!!!!!!

They left a message for me to phone back.........which I did straight away and got the ansa-machine saying surgery was closed for the day!!!

WHY is nothing ever simple??!!
I will have to phone first thing tomorrow......not sure what to do otherwise...I could have it a day later but DH will then be working so not much BDing time.

We will have to wait and see.....

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 12/09/2006 07:02

Fingers crossed you get it on the day you want.

What happens if you bd like crazy uo to when you have jab? Would that work?

coggy · 12/09/2006 07:06

My BDing plan is.....BD lots before jab.
Jab takes 36 hours to do it's thing so BD on day of jab and day after....the next day DH is at work so I really hope they can squeeeeeeeeeeeese me in!!!!!

I'll phone at 8.30 while I'm at work this morning.

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 12/09/2006 18:45

Any luck coggy?

Another question -sorry

When i have my internal scan on CD13 will they be checking to see if i am due to ovulate? What happens if i have ovulated early than this or is this not likely? Or are they just checking i have not got PO?

coggy · 12/09/2006 19:40

Yeah!
I'm booked in for 12 'o'clock so only have to miss about ten minutes of work.

They were a bit arsey about the whole thing though!
Hmmmmmm........nice to know that so many medical people are sympathetic to us long-term TTCers !!!

Scan checks for number and size of follicles.
I think anything over 18mm is good.
If you have too many (I had four possibles the first time) then they tell you not to BD for fear of multiple multiples!!!!
I think four large ones was the maximum!!!!

You shouldn't have ov early but if you have then they'll know this for next time.
Maybe the clomid makes sure that you don't??
I know that most of these mid-cycle scans are organised on CDs12 - 14.

Thanks for that coggy so if i decide to use OPK's not really much point in starting until about CD13?

Good luck today and lots of bding.

coggy · 13/09/2006 13:12

Yeah.....I'd start testing on CD13....no point before as they can tell you that you haven't ov'd.
start on the day of the scan and carry on every day until you get a +ve.

Are you using digital ones or the lines?

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 19:29

I have got a mix and match left over from before i was told i did not ovualte, they never came up positive. Non digital thought but about 5 boots ones and 10 e bay cheapes.

Think i am having hot flushes from the clomid that or i am coming down with something.

coggy · 13/09/2006 20:55

Aha...maybe that's why my temps are always so high???

Didn't think of the clomid.
That's probably the answer to my random temps every morning!!!

It is really hot and sticky here though...could do with a thunder storm.

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 14/09/2006 16:46

Well it rained loads last night and is very cloudy today so will see what it is like tonight, could be worse i suppose.

coggy · 14/09/2006 22:54

We'll have to start getting those blinkin' fans out again at this rate!!!!!!

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 15/09/2006 19:22

I know i am going to get mine out again if this continues it is just so muggy.

Natty1806 · 17/09/2006 11:37

Hi

Was just woundering if anyone had this (sorry if tmi)

have AF CD1 - 5 and then i had a bit of spotting for a day or two but yesterday and today i seem to have bright red blood spots in my CM. i have never had this before normally AF lasts 5 days and then goes and then no signs of blood again until next af. any ideas?

coggy · 17/09/2006 17:03

My AF has definitely changed since being on clomid so maybe yours is a reaction to the tablets too.

Mine has gone from about 5 days of AF to 3 only (and this month only 2 days).

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 17/09/2006 18:45

oh well sure it is not a problem. 2 days that is short, mine has stayed as 5 but is only the first month so will have to wait and see what the next few months brings.

Rachee - how you getting on with the puppy, what have you called he/she?

Natty1806 · 18/09/2006 14:22

Has anyone gone for there scan to be told that clomid does not work for them? i am worried that this clomid is not working guess i am just waiting for someone to tell me i def will ovulate but guess only time will tell with charts, scans and blood tests.

Obviously feeling and sorry for myself today.

coggy · 18/09/2006 19:28

I'm sure it will be fine Natty.
Try not to worry.......my theory is...you can't cahnge anything by worrying...so why bother??!!

Easier said than done I know but.....you won't have to wait long to find out will you?
Are you about CD6 or 7?
