Thanks Rachee, yeah anytime in my cycle apart from when on AF.

CP - maybe you have not got enough hcg yet to register on the test, maybe do another one in2/3 days. Good luck. x

ccpink · 23/10/2006 08:45

Sounds extremely promising to me peanut. Keep us posted. Got everything crossed with babydust for you

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 23/10/2006 12:48

Still no AF and sore boobs and lots of mucas sorry tmi

Cant bear the disappointment of another BFN so decided to wait it out till weekend before another test. Bought tampax as feeling totally unconfident as its been 18 months now and sick of it all, ov tests,pg tests, buying loads more t roll as always 'checking'

its mind boggling

Natty1806 · 23/10/2006 13:12

Does sound promising really hope you are. Good luck and keep us posted.

x

I'm hoping this is a good sign for you Peanut, but please remember that clomid can give you pregnancy-type symptoms, and don't be too disappointed if AF does arrive for you.

If clomid is going to work for you, it is most likely to work in the first 6 months of taking it. So you have plenty of other chances if this one is not the one.

But I hope this one has worked for you!

Little update from me - AF arrived, so our IUI was not successful. This means our next step is ICSI in the new year. We're currently having a lovely holiday in Las Vegas, so when we get back home later this week I will start making all the necessary arrangements.

Hugs,
Artoo.

Natty1806 · 24/10/2006 18:05

Wow Las Vagas I would love to go there, have you spent loads of money - I would.

Sorry about AF, hope your not too disheartened.

What will you have to arrange for ICIS?

coggy · 24/10/2006 18:08

So sorry to hear that you weren't sucessful with your IUI.

I do hope that you have a fantastic and restful time away Artoo.

I cant really believe what I am about to type but I bought a clearblue digital test today and got a BFP!!!

I did it in the loo at work as I was sick of torturing myself and I still had the sore boobs.I almost fainted with the shock and went into a bit of a state and had to come home.

Its all been a bit overwhelming.I know I have a long way to go and having suffered from hyperemesis for the first 22 weeks in both previous pregnancies, another stillbirth is not the only thing on my mind right now.

But I have decided to be positive from day one hence why I have told everyone.I reckon if it doesnt work out I will need the support of my family. But the most important thing for me to focus on right now is the BFP.After 18 nmonths of prodding, poking, spending half my wages on ov/pg kits, emotional wreck at the end of cycle driving husband mad and then attempting to seduce him for those 'go go go' days when hes really had enough of my mood swings.I never thought I would see it and thought that I would never bee pregnant again. Its consumed my life for the last eighteen months since we lost Philippa.I hope she is watching over me and baby

coggy · 24/10/2006 19:58

Urmmmmmm.....what happened about waiting until the weekend to test then???!!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pleased for you...that is FAB news.

Fantastic, brilliant, superb!!!

Now....try not to worry.................!!!!

Oh chocolate peanut i am so happy for you, you have brought a tear to my eye.

I am certain baby Phillipa is watching over both of you.

From the bottom of my heart I wish you and little baba well.

Keep us postsed and again CONGRATULATIONS [GRIN]

Natty1806 · 24/10/2006 20:01

Sorry

think coggy did enough to make up for my mistake. x

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 24/10/2006 20:05

I got to work, still no AF,sore boobs, sticky discharge, all those familiar feelings and just could not concentrate.

I must have been to loo 25 times before lunch and though 'sod it' and nipped out an bought a digital clearblue two pack from boots.I came back and had a wee on it and while I was pulling up my tights I was watching it flash then like a miracle it went PREGNANT. Someone else was in another cubicle and I ran out and started banging on the door 'whos in there?' this unrecognisable voice went 'why' and I realised that it was someone I did not work with (we share the loos with another company.

I ran out and bumped into my friend and just fell into her arms crying.I am now flat out with excitement and its all feeling very surreal but oh so nice

Natty1806 · 24/10/2006 20:13

Oh babes am just imagining it now, really am so pleased for you.

coggy · 24/10/2006 21:35

It's just so fantastic!!

LOL at the poor woman in the other loo wondering where the fire was!!!!!!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 24/10/2006 22:14

Thank god for clomid

My cons wanted to give it me in June but I said I would try some more before going on it.

I was worried about a multiple but it doesnt seem to matter now.

coggy · 25/10/2006 08:40

I guess they'll book you for an early scan to check will they?
My clinic did an internal at 7 weeks.

..........still smiling for you............

I am sooooooooo pleased for you peanut!!!
It's a brilliant success story for our Clomid thread too. Giant hugs and take it easy!!!!!!!

First month too. If only I could have af and start my pills!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 25/10/2006 19:44

I never thought it would work, I had started to think that I would never hold another baby in my arms.

It still has not sunk in

ccpink · 25/10/2006 19:54

That's lovely peanut.
You'll have to keep coming back to update us though
I bet you're buzzing!

Natty1806 · 26/10/2006 13:26

ccpink - you still not had AF? I was told to go to gp if i had not had AF before 42 days and they would give me provera so i could start teh clomid.

I had to go to gp and get it but it meant i could start taking clomid think the provera took 5-7 days to work.

HTH

Rachee · 26/10/2006 18:34

well done peanut....

xXx
