Thanks ladies so very much for pos vibes- had a rant on other thread- super p'd off tonight- can't tell you. Diet has gone doen the swanny too- have had 9 million calories this evening. Feeling fat and bloated and a tad depressed- never mind tomorrow's another day. Getting off here now- going to read a non- fertiity related book and have wine. xx

wannaBe1974 · 31/08/2006 08:41

hiya all

well I weighed myself today and am now 9 st 8 and a half lb, so since the middle of July I have managed to lose 9 1/2 lb. Although it's been harder to resist lately - I recently decided to take up chocolate making as new hobby and bought molds/proper melting chocolate etc, how hard is it to resist those! lol. But anyway made lollypops for ds - was ve impressed with myself. If I manage to do it right I might set up a little business from home - not for major profet or anything but for fun.

Andy am so sorry to hear about af, hope you're feeing better today xx

MrsMcJnr · 31/08/2006 09:10

Oh Andi, sorry to hear that . Hope the wine helped. I'm a lawyer by training but decided to try my hand at the recruitment side of law since Jan - quite different!

Well done Wannbe, that is very impressive! The chocolates would be a receipe for disaster for me! I made an Easter egg once for a boyfriend but the chocolate went a bit white! Cox & Cox have nice chocolate moulds.

I lost 1 pound this week, and given what I ate, drank and didn't do, that was more than I deserved!

Morning to Coggy, Natty and Angshase too. Wishing you all a good day!

andi0411 · 31/08/2006 11:59

Thanks Coggy/ wanna/ Mrs Mc etc- see you Sunday- going on a trip

Natty1806 · 31/08/2006 12:18

OP posts:
MrsMcJnr · 31/08/2006 15:54

Thanks Natty! I had lost 4 pounds Natty but now only 3 due to last week's binge fest .

Have a lovely trip Andi, sounds lovely. We are going down south for my nephew's christening. 3 months since our wedding and 3 months since I saw any of my family so looking forward to it

coggy · 31/08/2006 17:34

Good effort on your pound loss MrsMc.

wannaBe..don't know how on earth you could resist!!!
Fab weight loss for you.

Think my strict eight days may be having a technical hitch tonight due to AF cramps!!!
Bugger!!!!!

May have to drown my sorrows......CD19...aaarrgh!!!

coggy · 01/09/2006 10:26

I have NO will power!!

What is wrong with me???!!!

My friend phoned up to ask me if I wanted to go out for fish and chips......I politely told her no as I am on a strict diet for a few days.

Half an hour later I am sitting in the fish and chip shop tucking into a huge plate of food washed down with far too many glasses of wine!!!

How did that happen????!!!!!!

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 11:23

Well i lost 0.5 pounds this week which mean i have lost a total of nothing, big fat 0 in a month - well done me, NOT.

Must try harder
Must try harder
Must try harder

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 11:24

Sounds like you had a good night though coggy. x

OP posts:
MrsMcJnr · 01/09/2006 11:57

Coggy - isn't that what life is really about though and I suppose we should all make the most of having unplanned nights out before we have nippers to consider! .

Natty - don't be so hard on yourself, you have tons on your mind and have been great at going to the gym, I bet you are fitter and slimmer even if you are not lighter.

I had some waxing done last night so the wine I drank after that was purely to help me recover from the ordeal and numb the pain Doubt I'll have a boozy weekend though, we are staying with my sister, husband and 2 boys, 2 1/2 and 6 months and she rarely touches a drop! Can't wait to see them

Have a good weekend if I don't speak to you again - maybe we should all have a week off and then start again?!

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 12:24

Thanks Mrs, i have fitness test on Monday so we shall see if going 4 times a week has had any benefit.

have a nice weekend. x

Natty....did you do any measuring?

Ms Conley says that measuring your bits is just (if not more) as important as your weight.
She says you can go down a DRESS SIZE AND YET NOT SEE A HUGE DIFFERENCE ON THE SCALES.....

....crikey...sorry about that!!!

I'm sure you must be getting well toned up which is good cos muscle burn FAR more calories than fat does.

I sound like such an expert....
....unfortunately I know it all but don't do a fat lot about it!!!!

Angsthase · 01/09/2006 13:42

Wannabe wow that's great.

Natty - you have only not lost weight because fat has turned to muscle which is heavier (I have decided ). Bet you're dead fit now too.

MrsMJ, at least its 3lbs. Thats great. I'd kill for that!

I am officially crap. Have been drinking all week. Could hardly zip up my jeans today and have just finished cheese sandwich and bag of crisps.

Hate myself. Knees are hurting and don't want to run tonight, but would be even more depressed if I went home to steak and wine without even trying to run. Need a fitness trainer like that guy off Fat Club. Only hope for me. Will always be porky otherwise

ANYWAY - Have a great weekend. I think may take tomorrow off watching what I eat / drink / etc. Instead will BD extra night

coggy · 01/09/2006 13:52

What CD are you on Angsthase?

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 13:57

Thanks girls, i have started to measure waist but need to start to record it and make a note of it.

Still got a big fat wobbly belly but must admit legs and arms are getting firmer.

No bingo wings???!!!!!

Angsthase · 01/09/2006 15:27

My bingo wings would make a deluxe KFC bucket and ask for my ribs - don't get me started

CD11, so might even try a OVK tonight. Feeling lucky - drr who am kidding!!!

coggy · 01/09/2006 16:38

I now have to hold onto my bingo wings when waving goodbye to my DH!!!!!

Ummm, noone has posted for a few days, have we all been naughty?!

Had the driest weekend ever but ruined it by eating pastry, cakes, full fat milk, cream

feedmenow · 04/09/2006 11:47

Hello! Can I join in here? Could always use some motivation to de-flab a bit! Used to go to one of Rosemary's classes but didn't really like the instructor so am not getting anywhere now cos I don't have that regular check-in...

MrsMcJnr · 04/09/2006 11:55

Hello there, of course you can join us, I don't know where the others are today, working much harder than me probably. Some of us do have formal weigh ins and others have chosen their own day each week to weigh in and then let us know how they got on. It's up to you but hope this helps you, the ladies are very motivated here and it does help me

Natty1806 · 04/09/2006 12:00

Mrs - i though you said you had a dirty weekend then i re read and it was driest. LOL

Well since joing the gym i have lost 1kg and 4% body fat and my stamina has gone from adverage to good.

So it must be working, had a re programme as well today so all change.

We need to move over to an october thread or are we saying 7 pounds light by the end of Sep?

OP posts:
MrsMcJnr · 04/09/2006 12:10

Well done Natty, that's great, told you! 4% is a lot, well done you bet you feel better within yourself now PMSL at your initial reading of my thread!! Shall we stay on this thread until the end of Sept? it is still easy to keep up with whose on here but I don't mind, I'll leave it you and the other longtimmers to decide what's best!
