Just been looking through the programmes for a ballet thing my dd did recently - had all the childrens' names listed - there is a Poppy Field!

Hi,

think I know the most chavtastic twin names ever!

A friends sister in law called her twin daughters...... Dolce and Gabbana (sp) - imagine it said in a thick Glasgow accent and your there!

I cant believe they let them register them - in Sweden theres a law against people naming their children silly names should be brought in here!

Hi there

I know someone who called their child Beckham.

LOL!

I don't think my two would raise much of an eyebrow, although DS1's name is fairly rare (although there is another MNetter with a DS of the same name as I found out the other day), DS2's is fairly popular. I generally shout "come on guys" at my two and thought this was OK but it raised a snigger from an older lady the other week and she then repeated "guys" and laughed again .

The best one I have heard recently was a boy called Spain.

I really like Noah.

I had chosen my DDs name in the early weeks of pregnancy, then came that bl*ody Charlie & Lola programme followed by a load of Z list celebs using the same name. I couldn't choose another name as I'd already become so attached to my wee LolaBump. Was well hacked off tho when I discovered that giving her my mum & grandma's name as her middle name meant she was named after an overpriced jewellery line on very cheesy major tv shopping channel.

Have been somewhat embarassed calling my little half-brother's name in public places, he was named after his maternal grandfather but he shares it with a Ninja Turtle!
