okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

ohh beccy fingers crossed...hopefully we will both be on the due in april thread.
i played the sneaky card tonight and said to dp "i was thinking at work today and im so sorry for the way im treating you i feellike im just using you for sex and you must hate me" "il give you a break tomorrow"
dp replies "no its ok babe itl be worth it hopefully"
RESULT!!! lol

bobblehead · 18/07/2006 20:48

Ok I'm coming over. Af not due until next week but I'm soooooooooo sure I didn't ovulate let alone conceive I may as well write this month off (though I'll be very happy to be proved wrong!). I feel that on the July thread af will signal the end of things but when it comes here it's just the start of waiting to ovulate.

Still waiting for my fertility book to arrive it is slower than af

Hi bobblehead. Think we are due the same day (27th). Here's hoping!

Do I remember rightly that you (like me) are trying for DD2 or DS1? My DD was also conceived in August (2003)- SUCH good timing IMO- spend all winter swelling nicely, draped in forgiving layers and keeping nice & warm with the little hot water baby, then drop before the really hot weather comes!

bobblehead · 18/07/2006 21:11

Think I'm due the 26th Pendulum- a week tomorrow whenever that is anyway!
Yes I have a dd already. I would really love another girl so she can have a sister, but would be very happy with a boy too (just want to be prgnant full stop!). Dd was conceived at the beginning of Sept 2004 and it did work out well being pregnant over winter. I suppose a winter baby would have been nice so you could hide the post baby body for a while! Actually I think I'll just be proud of mine this time as I just can't wait to have another one! (baby that is, obviously I would prefer to come out of it as unscathed as possible!)

Nicki10 · 18/07/2006 21:15

Pendulum I am due on the 27th as well.

pendulum · 18/07/2006 22:04

Hi Nicki10

27th is also my wedding anniversary- could be a great present!

Am off to bed now. Back later.

Sexonlegs · 18/07/2006 22:06

So, welcome to the August thread- you have jumped ship then!
Bobblehead, I have ordered the Toni Weschler book today as well - they must have seen their profits soar!
Anyway, I am off to bed, although cannot imagine how anyone can sleep in the heat. What's the temp like in Winnipeg?
Until tomorrow chicks.xx

Sexonlegs · 18/07/2006 22:06

29 tonight in Winnipeg, will be around 30-35 for next couple weeks according to weather channel. We have great air con though, so feel very sorry for you ladies sweating it out back home!

Natty1806 · 19/07/2006 08:18

I have jumped ship and joining the august thread, will keep popping back into July though.

Have decided to stop having acupunuture and spend the money on enjoying life, for example getting drunk, eating out etc. (while i can!)

Anyway hope you all have nice days and will catch up later, it is so hot already in my office. Not sure if i will get much work done today!

Beccy1974 · 19/07/2006 08:21

hope you have a nice day natty - here's a positive story; just heard about a friend's sister who was married 15 years, no joy with a baby. now she has shifted her work down to a calmer level, moved to country, bingo - fallen pregnant. she's 40.

there definitely seems to be a lot to be said for sitting back and relaxing about it doesnt there

easier said than done though i know

Natty1806 · 19/07/2006 08:30

Yeah i must admit i do agree with the theory that once you stop trying and forget about it you will more than likely fall unless there is a definate medical condition.

Just wish i could switch my brain off, i think about it all day and am now dreaming about it. LOL

Beccy1974 · 19/07/2006 08:37

me 2. already obsessed. and worst still have got it into my head that it would be wonderful to have twins. i'm sure its lovely but hugely hard work.

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 19/07/2006 09:00

I wouldn't mind twins but in reality, it is hard work once they are born plus the fact there would be no chance of me going back to work part time not to mention the stress of carring twins with all the increase risks etc.

Beccy1974 · 19/07/2006 09:07

i can't decide if i want to go back to work or not. though in reality i probably have to. part of me thinks would be lovely to be a housewife/at home mum, but no way of knowing if i'd get bored.

so many decisions.

i have a feeling me and dh will have probs succeeding anyway, as i always said i wasn't the sort of person to have children. thensomething changed aobut 2 years ago, body clock i guess. would be fate if couldnt anyway. am etneral pessimist

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 19/07/2006 10:17

Am sure you will be fine, something does suddenly kick in, making you need to have a child (well that's how i feel)

Yeah i would love to stay at home but will have to go back part time to pay the bills, plus i really enjoy my job but not sure i will as much once i have someone else to consider in my life and who is far more important than work.

coggy · 19/07/2006 14:09

I have melted...............

Beccy1974 · 19/07/2006 14:16

r u okay coggy? we were worried

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 19/07/2006 14:21

I am sooooo hot. Glad i am not ovulating at the mo, wonder if there will be any BFP in two weeks, if there is they deserve a gold star for making the effort in this heat. LOL

Bellie · 19/07/2006 14:36
