Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

My lo is stuffing her face with ceral lol (always pleases me when she eats well) going through a faise though where she doesn't listen to me (normally she is very well behaved) but she is 2.5 so I supose it is normal . I still have nappies to contend with she isn't taking too well to the potty. Will have to try again soon.

Nicki hun where have you been? How is your pgnancy going? Any MS? Is it sinking in now? So happy for you..... Good luck telling the rents bet they are going to be over the moon!!

I'm on cd27 so should be testing soon the earliest being tomorrow. Sometimes I have 31day cycles so not sure if I should wait till tuesday. Been getting cramping in my pelvis(sp) for the past 4days unfortunately it is probably af showing that she is coming. Tis a little unusual though as I normaly only get period pains the day before af arrives not 5days before I'm even due and they don't seem to be strong enough for af pains. Oh I don't know guess I'll find out soon enough though. Hopefully it isn't af pains.

Beccy1974 · 29/07/2006 09:56

yes good luck to those bding looks like last of hot day's anyway so easier after today

Nicki10 · 29/07/2006 10:49

LOL Bubblez at the potty training my friends little girls 2.5 also always liked to see her poo in the potty. Only thing is she used to pick it up and trail it round the house in her hands to show everyone! To her mums great disapproval

I of course didn't have to clear it up so thought it was hilarious which only encouraged her!

Nicki10 · 29/07/2006 11:52

Gosh Natty sorry have you had your appointment or is it this Tues?

Natty1806 · 29/07/2006 13:23

Hi again everyone!

Bubblz I dont think there is a point to me testing as have had no af and had bloods done recently. Been told no ov so no bubba!

Addicted to pumpkin patch and boori...

I liked the baby name survey thread btw.. its nice to see what others think.. when they can say something nice that is!

Natty1806 · 29/07/2006 13:35

Hi wantababynow!

I don't ov either first gyne appointment on Monday.

Are you on clomid? I am hoping this is what they will give me.

Do you have children already?

OP posts:
WantAbabyNOW · 29/07/2006 13:40

Hi Nat,

I am not on clomid yet. Specialist was going to give it to me but realised dh had not done sperm count yet so wll give it to me at next appoint which is in 7 weeks! Gave me metformin for now which has made me sick. Decided to take only half three times a day for a week or so and that seems to be a bit better.

Have no munchkins yet.. but have 20 on weekdays at school so will just have to be content on that and sopending time with my neices and nephews.

I joined a gym at beginning of the year... has done nothing... apparently now also have pcos...

Bloody hell can we not all just buy new bits to replace the ones that dont work?

Only had af twice this year.. on day 62

WantAbabyNOW · 29/07/2006 13:46

apologies for my earlier not so nice language.. aussies use those words a bit...

Xavielli · 29/07/2006 14:01

I really truely wish they could, wantababyNOW.

You can borrow mine if you like I'll need it back in 5 years though!

I hope that didnt sound patronising.....

Natty1806 · 29/07/2006 15:31

What does metformin do?

Don't worry about your language mine is a bit choice at times.

I know it is very frustrating when we don't work properly.

Blimey ladies you have been chatty today

Fingers crossed for you ladies waiting to test. Am on CD04 today. Got asked today at my dads party whether no.2 was on the way anytime soon. Said we were working on it

Off to Donnington race track tomorrow for a day of British Touring Car Championships. DH's company is sponsoring one of the drivers, and they have given us 4 pitlane passes, includes a full day of hospitality. Not sure if it is my cup of tea, but dh thought it would make a change to do something different as a family. We have to leave at 07.45am, drive for 2hrs 40mins to be there no later than 10.15am. I hope its a good day and that ds (15mths) is ok!!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend

WantAbabyNOW · 29/07/2006 23:59

Metformin is actually a drug that they give to diabetics but is now being used in women with some fertility issues. It might start body ovulating?

Will get clomid soon though as know nothing wrong with dh.

Maybe they should be mentionin to all thos on the pill... vtw it may not be as easy as you think to get pg when you are ready. Then everyone might get checked earlier and we would not all be sitting here!

Natty1806 · 30/07/2006 10:35

i agree, that is one of the questions i am going to ask tomorrow, am i like this becuase i took the pill for so many years or have i always not ovulated? Don't think i will go back on the pill again as it hids what is really going on with your body.

OP posts:
WantAbabyNOW · 30/07/2006 11:54

You probably had the problem before Nat, I am sure I did and the pill was just the easy answer. I will never consider going back on the pill. I think I would rather take my chances... or tell DH to make a hasty exit ( sorry for tmi)... I am not very fond of the mes anyhow!

Natty1806 · 30/07/2006 12:18

Yeah i think you are right, not sure what we will use once we have had a baby but nothing that involves pumping your body with hormones, but it would be just my luck that once i have had a baby i would then fall within 3 months - which to be honest would not be good as i wouldn't be able to afford it.

Shame money always rules your life one way or another isn't it.

OP posts:
Xavielli · 30/07/2006 17:44

I have never been on the pill/injection or anyother kind of hormone contraceptive. I have always been too scared that it might not mean I could have any kids.

I am now considering a coil.... there is one with very minimal hormones in it. sounds good. I am just scared of having it fitted now! lol

Beccy1974 · 30/07/2006 17:52

hi Xavielli

i had the mirena - that the one you're thinking of?

as I had not had children I can't pretend it wasn't painful but it was worth it for me.

having it taken out was a fractional repeat of having it put in.. and had some adjustment time when I got it.

but after three years i had it taken out in april and 31 day cycle resumed immediately.

so nice not to get af which stopped completely after about 8 months. maybe a little weight gain but other than that i got off scot free.

anyway - maybe its mirena or another type - but i do ovulate so hopefully it hasn't set me back

hope this helps
B

Xavielli · 30/07/2006 20:55

Thanks Beccy

WOOOHOOO Bubblez! Congratulations!

re: Pain in the pelvis: I found the whole twinges/ BH/stretching/twisting/windy/achy pains FAR more pronounced the 2nd time round. It's prolly because all the muscles, and even the pelvis, has taken such a beating the first time round that it is more noticable! Even felt painless BH from about 12 weeks, atleast once a day! I was so

Boy this time then?

Xavielli · 30/07/2006 21:01

P.S Natty! I hope all goes well tomorrow and will be praying that they can help you!

P.P.S I know this is prolly not the right place to mention it but......

I got engaged today

bubblez · 30/07/2006 21:04

Thank you Xavielli!!

Oh I never thought of attributing the pains to the battered muscles. That puts my mind at ease a little now Thank you.

A boy!! maybe!! I really don't mind though as I have my little girl so either would be nice...

OFF to watch bb now and then bed, but thankyou for your cograts xxxx speak to you tomorrowxxx Nite

Beccy1974 · 30/07/2006 21:24
