Sorry it's a bfn stone but am pleased they are doing something about it rather than just leave you waiting and wondering.

fedupofrainydays · 29/07/2013 14:56

Ps being stuck at home with sick child and bfn is bad as I've indulged in some online retail therapy. Whoops!

2beornot · 29/07/2013 20:22

Evening ladies!

Sorry you got a bfn stone. Hope AF turns up soon and/or docs manage to find out what the course is.

Abi/Bart glad you're getting more reassuring BFPs!! Hope you're both ok. Have you worked out EDDs yet?! (I've already worked mine out, just in case it works!!)

Seems like we've got a few ladies in the 2ww. Well, we say 2ww but its really only 1ww before we test anyway!! Typical nutters.

I'm due to ovulate on Saturday so dtd on sat night and planning on dtd every other night til Sunday. If its going to happen, then that's more than enough!!!

BartBaby · 29/07/2013 21:34

Hi 2be im doing good thanks Smile off my food a bit today though but feel ok. My edd will be 7th or 8th april. Its our wedding anniversary on the 4th april so i hope it hangs on until after then! Lol

How strange stone, are you normally regular? Aren't the drs test just the same as shop ones. Hopefully the blood test will give you a definate answer.

muzzy1 · 29/07/2013 22:16

I'd love an April baby!

Ninunina · 29/07/2013 22:45

Apparently the NHS tests are only sensitive to 25mg of hCG whilst FRER and Superdrug are sensitive to 10mg (meaning that an NHS test will generally only pick up until after a missed period, or even later if you ovulated late).
Muzzy I'd love an April baby too...I'm trying to avoid a summer baby as much as possible since you can't swim for 3 weeks after giving birth (or longer with CS) and it's super hot where I live so being pregnant or breastfeeding a newborn isn't much fun. Today was a whopping 36 degrees and I almost died since I didn't swim. I pity all my pregnant friends.

Ninunina · 30/07/2013 07:18

My shadow has turned into a feint line today but definitely there! Looks like it may be a BFP! I'm only 11dpo so I guess it makes sense I its so light. Please don't let it be a chemical pregnancy!!!!

fedupofrainydays · 30/07/2013 07:33

Ah ninu congratulations! trying hard not to be jealous as on same timeframe and fx this one develops properly!

Ninunina · 30/07/2013 07:39

Everyone is different Fedup you may still get your bfp! FX for you xxxx

fedupofrainydays · 30/07/2013 07:47

Thanks ninu but do feel like af is on her way to visit :(
Just a bit tired and miserable today which is when I find dealing with my lack of pregnancy so hard.. Sorry for the doom on an exciting day for you - genuinely pleased for you even if doesn't come across that way xx

muzzy1 · 30/07/2013 08:04

Congrats ninu sounds promising!! Hope it gets darker for you!

I think we are all the same fedup-I am always genuinely so thrilled when someone gets their BFP and love hearing about it as it gives me hope but there is always a small part of me which says I wish that was me. Have you tested again today? Bfn here.

Ninunina · 30/07/2013 08:12

I totally understand you both fedup and muzzy! In fact I worry a lot about these types of announcements in RL since you never really know what people are going through. I have a friend who has been TTC for almost 3 years and had her first round of IVF earlier this year. Unfortunately it resulted in a MMC at 10 weeks. This girl has the most admirable attitude to it all, but I can't help but feel guilty when all my other friends have conceived on Round 1 or 2. It's just unfair isn't it?
Any ideas on how I should tell her? She hates it when people pity her, so part of me just wants to tell her straight away without making a big deal of it.

dildoos · 30/07/2013 08:18

Ninu congrats!!! Wow we are on our 3rd this monthGrin
Muzzy fed up and everyone else on this thread - totally understandable and you never need to explain yourself here xx

dildoos · 30/07/2013 08:23

Stone- when will you get your hcg results back? X

2beornot · 30/07/2013 08:26

Excellent news with my morning cuppa ninu!!!

Fedup and mizzy there's stil time for a BFP this month. Although its always the days when you're slightly tired/down that it feels worse. It's such a bloody emotional rollercoaster! Down when AF arrives, but then hopeful again, then fun of dtd, followed by a week of nervousness, followed by realisation that another month has been and gone and no pregnancy. It sucks!!!

dildoos · 30/07/2013 08:36

2be that's an exact account of the emotional roller coaster Smile
It's much better to vent with ladies taking part on the same rideSmile
We are all crazy to keep riding it again and again and again x

BartBaby · 30/07/2013 08:54

Congrats ninu !! Sounds really promising. My first line was quite faint at even 12dpo.

fedup and muzzy definately no need to explain! We all know only too well what eachother is going through. Thats what we are all here for Flowers if we can all get through the rollercoaster of ttc (so well said by 2be ) then all the rest of it must surely be easy peasy Grin or so im hoping!

OP posts:
muzzy1 · 30/07/2013 09:40

It is unfair ninu. Your poor friend, what a lot to go through.

So true with the roller coaster of emotions 2be...I'm currently on the depressed/losing all hope part.

fedupofrainydays · 30/07/2013 10:36

No I didn't test today. Think holding out til Friday unless af arrives. Got a wedding on sat so want to know if I can drink!

Feel sick today but think more ds' bug than symptoms ( plus have had nausea every month with pmt recently!) and boobs don't hurt anymore which is usually af sign...

I would just tell your friend ninu. I find it worse when people don't tell me or pretend they are still ttc is even worse. But don't do it face to face as she might just want to have a cry first ( my experience though) before talking to you bout it. Everyone different though and you know her

onelittlepiglet · 30/07/2013 11:58

Congratulations Nin! Wow we have had a run of BFPs! They say things come in threes....hope it doesn't mean there won't be any more for a while.

Totally understand about the roller coaster of emotions - I'm trying to be calmer this month as I went a bit too nutty the last one. Actually sort of think I've given up hope a bit. We've sort if been trying for about 6 months now (although very actively the last 4) I know this isn't long but I'm feeling pretty hopeless abut it. Just waiting until the end f the year and we've agreed we will see the doctor about getting some tests done. Maybe I'm not ovulating properly or my hormones are not right....just seemed so easy last time.

I'm on cd11 and just waiting for a positive opk. DTD on day 9 but gave Dh a break yesterday as I don't think I'll ovulate until cd15 so want to do it as much possible from now on!

dildoos · 30/07/2013 13:05

One I hope the comes in 3's doesn't hit you all however all will try ideally wont happen this month as ladies I GOT ME A NEW JOB!!!!sorry small excited GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
A lady has made my life suck at work for years and now I can officially be happy! Sad thing is my boss I am leaving is wonderful and I feel guilty to be going and leaving himSad
Oh the hormones xxx

onelittlepiglet · 30/07/2013 13:15

Oh well done Dildoos! Grin that's good news. I know how awful working with someone who makes your life difficult can be. When do you start your new job?

You do realise this probably will your month now as you have a new job!

fedupofrainydays · 30/07/2013 17:02

Well done dildoos I think making positive changes to life pre (second) baby are a good thing as its important that life isn't a drag or will make ttc extra tough.

I bet you get preggers now though!!

BartBaby · 30/07/2013 17:56

Well done dildoos Grin there's nothing worse than hating going to work. I know not many people actually like going to work. But when there's someone there making it hell. Thats different. I hope your new job is fab!
