I highly recommend the superdrug ones im so going to superdrug at somepoint over the weekend for keeping an eye purposes of course

Our ds didnt get fully toilet trained until just after he was 3 and hes fine now so hope that gives you more hope that it will be fine! They will do it when they feel right to, let them be your guide as every child is different. :0)

muzzy1 · 26/07/2013 08:46

i agree abi, pains are so normal in the beginning. I had period pains for weeks which sent me into a quivering wreck! All the ligament stretching will start too so it's completely normal.

My dd is 1yr8 too! We have a potty but she likes to stand in it and try and use it as a skateboard!

I think I'm going to SuperDrug this morning to stock up! But really won't use one until Monday Hmm

StoneBaby · 26/07/2013 10:55

No superdrugs over here!! I tested again and BFN again

My DS is 3.5 yo and decided not to wear a nappy at 2.4 yo (he mastered the poo in potty a month later).

BartBaby · 26/07/2013 11:01

Ha ha well another one here that will be off to superdrug today! Do we know what sensitivity thing they are? Like 10 or 15 what evers they are? I used 2 ic's and 2 asda ones for ds. But turns out the asda ones arent as sensitive at only 15. I looked at the boots ones the other day but they didnt tell you and they were all wrapped up so i couldnt have a sneaky look

We didnt even start trying to potty train ds until after he was 3. He just wasnt ready. Once we started though he had it by the end of the week. Even the night times too. He's only had a handfull of accidents either day or night since then. Maybe because he was older he picked it up quicker?!

Superdrug ones are 10 whatever it is....I think the lower the more sensitive right?! I now have 2 in my possession and need to be told not to use one!
Good luck stone

muzzy1 · 26/07/2013 11:28

Wow abi I just had a look and your line is really dark!

BartBaby · 26/07/2013 11:34

Yes muzzy the lower the better. I think the 10 ones are the lowest you can get? How many dpo are you? Do one with me in the morning!! Grin surely one of us will get a bfp?!

abi i hope things go fabby for you. The tests do look really strong so fx for you.

onelittlepiglet · 26/07/2013 12:15

Hello and happy Friday!
Well dd managed a poo in the potty today! I think she held it in all of yesterday and dd it as soon as she woke up this morning but on the pot so this is a big step forward! That's no accidents now for two days and only one accident the day before that. Yay! She is very proud of herself (and I am too!).

Abi - I remember having shabby pains in early pregnancy.I think it's everything stretching and changing. Hope it doesn't hurt too much!

Well I think AF has gone now so gearing up for DTD week next week! Will start on opks at the weekend I think....need some poas action!

Tallalime · 26/07/2013 15:27

Oh abi congratulations Grin wonderful news, I am so pleased for you.

AF just got me the old witch so I am now officially 18 months ttc Sad On the plus side I haven't poas for months as I don't think I have any hope left any more.

StoneBaby · 26/07/2013 16:35

Advice needed please:
When is the best time during the day to test? I just bought 1 cheap Lloyds chemist pg test and want to know when to waste use it efficiently

Ninunina · 26/07/2013 18:01

First morning urine is always the best stone

fedupofrainydays · 26/07/2013 18:48

Hey stone do you know when you ov'd this cycle? Def first morning wee is best

StoneBaby · 26/07/2013 19:05

I had a smiley opk on Monday 8 July so I guess on that day or the day after.

AbiBub · 26/07/2013 20:08

Hey you lovely nutters! Grin

Yep superdrug ones are 10miu sensitivity! These are the ones I use and I swear by them. Stone I always use first morning urine just because it has a stronger concentration as its been sitting in the bladder for at least 6hours :0)

Bart-we toilet trained our little dude about a month or so after he was 3 as he also wasn't ready until then, boys I hear learn better later, like you we believe he understood it better hence why it only a couple of weeks to train. He has also been dry at night for about 2months but he still likes the comfort of nightime nappies so will change to non nappies at night when he wants to, which is fine as the longer he's dry the better the outcome when he does decide to drop the nappies.so glad you thought the line was strong I wasnt sure but my friend said they were too plus she said it must be fairly good if the lines came up straight away!! She joked about it being twins omgosh .

Awww one thats fabby news about dd and toilet training !! Thanks for the reassurance on the pains its been over 4years since I had any of those feelings!!

Talla- thank you lovely. Please dont give up hope I am still keeping my fx for you. Hopefully af wont stay around for too long and you now have a fresh month to give it another go. All I used this month was a calculator on nhs website to predict my ov date based on my cycle length and dtd every 3 days from when af finished, luckily one of the every 3day dtd dates fell on my ov date and I have done nothing else but that. Biggest hugz I hope that helps.

Muzzy thanks for the reassurance about pains, really couldnt remember that far back when ds wad a sticky bean! Im glad you think the lines are looking good, really helping me to panic a little less!! Keeping everything crossed for you for a bfp. I held off until the day after my af was due this month. Is your af due monday?

Good luck to all who are either testing or dtd, im keeping everything crossed for you all! :0) x

fedupofrainydays · 26/07/2013 22:09

Ugh. Trying hard to ignore the nausea and sore boobs. They are just pre af symptoms for me last few months so don't know what I'm getting so hopeful about. Aggghhhhh so frustrating

AbiBub · 26/07/2013 22:29

Fedup whens af due? Im still keeping all my pinkues crossed for you! :0) its horrid when af symptoms are such a close match to pg symptoms why does it gave to be so confusing eh!! I will get hopeful for you lovely, that way it can be our nutters thread secret! Wink x

BartBaby · 27/07/2013 00:41

Bah!!! Its too hot in our room and i cant sleep. Its so uncomfortable! Ive been extremely tired recently but just cant seem to switch off tonight. Im sure its because i got those tests! Hmm i just cant stop thinking about it now they are there and getting my hopes up. Even though rationally i know it will be a bfn. Those of you that can remember me waffling on about my short periods and maybe not being able to hold a wee egg etc etc. im sure this will still be the case.

And im so itchy on my tummy and my boobs its drivin me potty!! But at least they havent been as sore as they normally are Hmm

Sorry for the rant ladies! I hope you are all having a better nights sleep Grin

BartBaby · 27/07/2013 07:34

fedupofrainydays · 27/07/2013 07:40

Ah thanks abi Grin

Af due somewhere between Friday and Sunday (next wk) as ov'd earlier than norm this month I think Friday. Got a wedding on sat though so hope it doesn't turn up mid service.

bart I slept weirdly too, had dreams my boobs started producing breast milk again. I never ever thought I would say that I miss being pregnant for body reasons but i do. Even though it was so so uncomfy I miss it - even leaky boobs and breast pads! (What's wrong with me?) I'm so ready for another one so why won't my body let me?! Humph.

stone did you test with first morning wee today?

fedupofrainydays · 27/07/2013 07:41

Omg bart I can see it!!!! Bfp!!!

Which tests are these? How many dpo?

Soooooooo exciting!!!!!

getagoldtoof · 27/07/2013 07:43

Morning all.

Err, Bart - I think you're pregnant...! How many dpo?

fedupofrainydays · 27/07/2013 07:46

Ps bart the itchy thing I had when I was pregnant too they wanted to check out (think liver related) and towards end of pregnancy I was monitored as it was really bad (but mainly on bottom of my feet). Just keep an eye on it / mention to doctor when you go and you are preggers with that bfp!!!

getagoldtoof · 27/07/2013 07:46

I had a dream I was still pregnant. Sad when you wake up from it!

And in other news... epu didn't have my results so have to wait until monday. Temp still up, might poas again this weekend.

Bart - that is so exciting - no wonder you can't sleep!

BartBaby · 27/07/2013 07:49

Argh i dont know how many dpo!! Ha ha because i didnt use my opk's! Bloody typical isnt it! Probably 12dpo, but maybe 10dpo.

Its a superdrug one. I didnt even need to squint or walk around the room to find the best light to see it. But ive had a couple of times on the ic's in previous months where i thought there might have been the feintest barely there line but obv not.

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 27/07/2013 07:53

Oh I know geta it's so sad. I've had that too and been gutted when woken up.

Btw I think you are doing amazing. I think I would have semi exploded by now if your story was me - not sure i could deal with such a head fuck. I'd be screaming at EPU asking them to tell me wtf was going on. But I am a bit crazy at the mo. so impressed by your calmness in relation to this, it cannot be easy. big hugs xx
