OH MY WORD!! I just logged in to see how you were getting on abi!
So over the moon for you and crossing everything and anything that this little one sticks. It's been a long journey but fingers crossed this is it and you feel confident enough to join our little ante-natal nutjob thread soon.

All the best wishes to you and your DH Grin

Yes looked on my hospital sheet exactly the same name, haem is blood corpus luteum is cyst ! Means your body done all the right things but it sadly wasn't to be this time Sad
Gynaecologist said to me something I found comforting , he said my body was such a wonderful mother it was holding on to any little bundle even when it's not quite right! The bundle produces hcg then says hang on I am not quite right and your body lets it go , however the norm would be it happened at period time and we would never know ! X

AbiBub · 24/07/2013 21:41

getagoldtoof · 25/07/2013 07:04

Abi!!!! That is such wonderful news. We did need a bfp, didn't we! I hope you have an easy pregnancy - it will
be good for us to have you around as a motivational person! Congratulations!

Thanks for that dildoos, I was up all night with my boy, so I'm not going to the epu, I'm going to relax at home and leave for work late. I'm pretty sure that I have a cyst - I'm not even sure that I ever was pregnant. I have found that difficult to come to terms with as I was a full believer of 'there is no such thing as a false positive'. I am also upset as I was supposed to ovulate today, but my temp is still up really high, so guessing I'm not going to ov for a while. I'm just going to hang about here cheerleading you lot until every one of you gets a bfp!

Thanks again for sharing dild, that must have been pretty awful at the time. Do you know why it happened? I guess it's just one of those things.

So, Stone...? Has af shown up? .

Also, did we reach a consensus on the clearblue fertility
monitor? Anyone got one?

getagoldtoof · 25/07/2013 07:08

Also thanks for your comforting words all, I have really appreciated having a sounding board and such a caring bunch of women to harp on about ttc to.

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 08:10

ugh, am feeling really sick today and crampy 'down there'. part of me wants to symptom spot but I'm only tops 6/7 dpo so tell me to stop being mental and just except I'm perhaps a bit under the weather...

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 08:11

geta no, i don't have a CB fertility monitor but i know someone that does have one and raved bout it.

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 08:12

and abi deffo lurk please, we will need you to be a reminder that it can happen and try and keep us from being sectioned.......
really hope this one sticks for you. xx

StoneBaby · 25/07/2013 08:29

abi congratulations!! It's such a great news Grin

So I'm 3 dpaf (days pass af - my new acronym) and nothing there yet. A bit of nausea, tommy cramps but I guess it's because I'm 3 days late. I don't have any pg tests left and will not buy any for the moment (no point in wasting more money!).

BartBaby · 25/07/2013 08:32

fed up ive found that feeling sick is one of my pre af symptoms Hmm ive had it a few days this month.

Ive come to the conclusion that by having a 'more relaxed' month with no temping or opk's, ive actually made me more stressed! As im now not only wondering if im pg, im also wondering if i even ov! Twice the stress. And as im not sure if/when i ov, its confusing the symptom spotting not symptom spotting is just impossible after 4 months doing it so i will be back on the opk's next month. Its decided!

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 08:50

me too bart i've also felt sick for the last few months in the 2ww. still doesn't stop me thinking its symptom though. I feel a bit nutty to say the least.

Yep, I'd be the same. Everyone tells me to stop with the sticks etc but exactly like you, I'd worry even more about when to dtd and whether I ov'd so totally get where you are coming from.

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 08:51

stone... 3 days late, it could be pregnancy! just taking a while to show up! FX. Maybe abi has started a run of BFPs and you're next! hope so

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 12:39

nutter in the house. I just POAS. i have a logic, it was just to get it out my system (i haven't POAS for a while you see and getting withdrawl symptoms). now it was bfn i think i can cope with waiting til af is due. phewf.

StoneBaby · 25/07/2013 12:59

fedup Grin

I'm very close to go and buy a test! Why???? I know it'll be neg!!

BartBaby · 25/07/2013 13:09

Ha ha i used an opk to poas!! partly as ive heard sometimes they come up +ve if you are pg but also to get it out of my system aswell Grin we are all definately nutters!

I wont really have a chance to but any propper ones until next week so will get some then if af not arrived by then. Which im sure she will have.

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 13:44

So glad its not just me. The urge is so strong. I
think we should be starting POASA, bit like AA but for those of us addicted to POAS rather than booze although i'm sure we like our alcohol too
OPK is a good idea though, as its cheaper than an pregnancy test but still allows me to get it out my system.

stone i suppose at least you are 3 days late so can properly justify POAS, i've still got about 10 days til AF is even due!!! NUTTER.

fedupofrainydays · 25/07/2013 14:47

I'm working from home today as a rare event so i have witnessed that even my cleaner is blimmin pregnant!!

misshoohaa · 25/07/2013 14:54

Hi all, is there space for one more nutter?

4th month of trying to conceive DC #2 and feeling a bit mental. DS1 was a surprise, literally shagged once with the pull out method and hey presto baby made! This time round I have to admit I felt a bit complacent and thought it would happen straight away and now 4 months in am getting quite irrational. Blush I know it's early days but I'm still close to being sectioned and annoying DH nonetheless .

So one more weirdo joining the brigade.

In that nice part of the cycle just after AF where you rationalise with yourself that your not going to go agonise over symptoms and just take it all in your stride, where in reality in 12 days I will be demanding DH frequent specimen and telling him he needs to get a good one swimming, and then lying with my feet in the air. Ill then give myself a nipple cripple and having a nap and calling sore boobs and exhaustion.... Grin

Congrats Abi and hello to everyone!
