missmakesstuff · 09/07/2013 22:54

Yep, all three! Can I aska delicate question - what is your age? (whispers) I am 36 in a month and a bit scared about being an olderish mum but glad that kids keep you young!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 09/07/2013 23:04

I'm 38 and the dcs are 17 and 14!!

missmakesstuff · 09/07/2013 23:19

38? That's nothing, and you have ready made babysitters, perfect!
I still have no show, still feel nauseous, got to much on over the next couple of days I think it will be poas Fri for me if she stays away. Can't imagine she will though...

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 09/07/2013 23:22

Yes she will! Posifrickintivity!

JBrd · 09/07/2013 23:34

Gosh, this thread has news from every end of the spectrum.... What a rollercoaster!

Sapphire How sad and rubbish is this. Sending hugs and Flowers

Saggy Yay! That is great, congratulations! Can we be bump buddies Wink? I agree, 38 is nothing, I'm 41!

Just a quick hello to everyone else, I need to go to bed, just got back from Scotland today, and still need to hang up washing and unpack, so that I can get the suitcase off the bed!

RainbowConnections · 09/07/2013 23:40

OveranxiousUnderated · 10/07/2013 07:18

RainbowConnections · 10/07/2013 07:39

Aw rubbish Katatonic. Hugs.

fedupofrainydays · 10/07/2013 07:40

Congratulations saggy really pleased for you although I am a teeny bit jealous and so so badly wish it was me too

kata I'm so sorry af got you Sad. I know how you are feeling. It's so heartbreaking when you tried so hard. I burst out crying again this morning as stupid af had leaked on my bed sheets and had terrible cramps - so unfair when I just want to be pregnant, not having the stupid witch to stay. Big big hugs. Posifrickintivity a bit low in our house too so lets try boost it back up together?! Can someone offer us a silver lining for this month??

KS78 · 10/07/2013 07:55

Am so excited about all the BFPs - this is definitely the thread to be on - we can do this! Quick question - it's 12 days after my Erpc - I didn't bleed much for the first three or four days but it is just getting heavier and showing no signs of slowing down. Been really heavy since Monday - I just expected it to slow down and stop...horrible in this hot weather and we are going on holiday next week so really wanted to be feeling positive, not bleeding and concentrating on DTD!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 10/07/2013 08:18

Have a huge {{{{hug}}}} FedUp. I know exactly how you feel. SpanishLady was on my last antenatal thread, and she must be 5 or 6 months gone now. When she announced her BFP here, before I'd even got a post MC bfn I was gutted. Absolutely gutted, and everyone else who's graduated has made me more and more miserable. selfish I know. But your turn WILL come. and then the FEAR really begins!
I have a silver lining, I've just dipped my toe into the grads thread, and they're getting a baby today. Grin it can happen.

BirdsDoIt · 10/07/2013 08:18

Wooooo saggy massive congratulations! That's fabulous!!

katatonic and fedup sorry AF got you, that's rubbish. Silver lining...ummm...pimms?

ks78 I'm not sure about what level of bleeding is normal - after my erpc they said I might have bleeding for up to two weeks and if it was longer then to get in touch. In reality it was fairly light and stopped after about 10 days including spotting at the end. But I know what it's like - I had almost four weeks of bleeding in all waiting for a natural mc which didn't happen (I had mmc and started bleeding at 12 weeks though it was all over at about 4 weeks) and it just goes on and on and you want it to be over and done with so you can get on with your life and start ttc again. Big hugs. Maybe call your gp if it carries on getting heavier?

nearlyreadytopop · 10/07/2013 08:39

congratulations saggy so pleased for you

alyant79 · 10/07/2013 09:08

saggy that's great news!!!! but here's a tiny fishslap for not waiting until friday (i prob wouldn't have either).

kata boo to AF Angry. At least you've got your apt at the clinic all sorted so perhaps that can take a bit of the pressure off... I don't think you'll be waiting another three years, I have a very good feeling for you.

thanks for the temping advice birds and ddmf. guess I can't get too excited by my high temps, but only disappointed if they start dropping. That's good to know.

saggy I remember SpanishLady too. She got her bfp just after I joined the thread and I remember thinking "ooh, she got her bfp even before her first post-mc AF, that will totally be me too". Hah!!!

Badhairday76 · 10/07/2013 09:13

Congrats Saggy - great news to wake up to!

Sapphire - hope you are doing as well as you can. So sorry.

I too am suffering terrible period pain and cramps and bleeding everywhere Fedup and Katatonic. I hate periods. Want to wear my new white shorts but daren't!

you can't be positive ALL the time kata. there needs to be some ups and downs or else you won't appreciate the ups :)
if only the downs weren't quite so MUCH down :(

triplespin · 10/07/2013 09:46

saggy so pleased for you ! I'm glad you POAS and didn't wait till Friday :)

rainbow I am on a similar cycle - CB ovpk had a smiley yesterday, so probably ovulating tomorrow I suppose (also my first after MC). Unfortunately, not holding out much hope, as DTD only once - DH has been very busy at work. Have bought pineapple anyway - it can't hurt I suppose !

RainbowConnections · 10/07/2013 10:05

Do I need AF to join the pity party? I can bring my own mood swings and bitterness pimms.

DTD did not go well last night - "too much pressure" and apparently explaining in response just how much I absolutely needed to get pregnant right now so we had to get on with it whether we were in the mood or wasn't a not turn on! I hope our efforts previous nights were enough.

Hi triplespin. If you had a smiley yesterday tonight should be good. Hope you can make it more fun than I managed!

Hopefully the fertility clinic will help give you something to feel positive about soon katatonic.
