Anyone like to join me on this journey of conception?! Going to start in May to ttc no 2

Hi, can I join? I'm 33, trying to conceive number 2. I have a 19 month old DS who was the unplanned result of DH forgetting to take the condoms on holiday. We decided to try for a second last month without paying much attention to ovulation days etc, unsurprisingly not pregnant. I then bought OPKs this month which showed a positive last Sunday, 3 days ahead of what my app told me and I'm not sure they were correct as my EWCM (get me, I've been reading up) was evident later in the week. So, I'm now in 2ww. Period due at end of month. Good luck to all.

AF has arrived for me too, so other spotting must have been breakthrough. 32 day cycle isn't bad for me and at least it gets it out the way so I can start serious ttc campaign! Relaxed approach, no chance, im planning every other day after af buggered off, OPKs, and every day around ovulation, miss a day then one more for luck (egg meet sperm plan). According to babycenter and mumsnet ovulation calc I'll be fertile 31 may till 6 June. Can't wait!!

Bnmum - I too am basing my fertile days on babycentre and mumsnet on calculators which basically say get on it 19-24th may

Haha! It's going to be one big shagging relay race to conception. There's a week gap between us, i'm sure someone on here must be ovulating around that time and can pass the baton from you to me

Thought i'd start the opks again a few days before fertile window, maybe 28/29 May?

What app are you using Strawberry? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I got the period tracker initially which counts ovulation day as the mid point of my cycle. I've since downloaded a couple more free ones that say roughly the same. So I was surprised to get the opk a few days earlier. We shall see...

Dtd last night, today is CD12. Think I might ditch the opk sticks as too worried bout constantly getting negatives. Think I'll just aim for dtd again CD14, 15, 17, 19 - ish!

Sounds like a good idea coffee I'm going to try the opk sticks for the first time this month but they do sound like a bit of a hassle from what I've read. x

According to my calculator app I am most fertile around 28th and 30th but not expecting much to happen this month but will aim to get some practise in!

I'm not optimistic for this month tbh. Think my body is still messed up from mirena which was only removed 7/8 weeks ago. Only had sex twice this cycle so far Cd 6 and 10 and no positive opk test yet.

Still, im clinging on to the fact that I'm only on CD11 today, taking Seven Seas Trying for a Baby and I was obliviously upduffed with dd whilst still taking the pill last time!

Smear results came back normal, I'm so relieved!! So we are officially a-go-go! If I have worked everything out properly I should next be ovulating around the 31st of May.

Ewww a wet patch about 10p size of clear wetness just fell into my knickers! Wtf is that?! His left over spermies from yesterday?!

Or EWCM, get dtd!! Have you also had a positive on the OPK?

Are our cycles starting to synchronise? Or is it just that we're not dtd much at the minute so we have plenty time to post on here and those that are ovulating are too busy?

Oh no coffee. I did have to read that twice because I though you said it was blue! That would have been something to worry about! Hope it stops soon and drink lots of water etc.

I think I'm 8dpo now, still too early to test though right? Just had a lovely blob of thick creamy stuff, must be a sign!

Well in my desperate attempt to spot ovulation, according to Dr Google "loose stools are a sign of ovulation". I'll roll with that . And coupled with my cm today which can only be described as "wet", I'm going to say up yours to the opk and jump dp again later. 2 nights in a row AND shaved legs, he's a lucky man

I shaved my legs this morning, so Dh must just strike lucky too.

I'm on CD22 but suffer from irregular periods so not sure when AF is meant to turn up. Think I can poas on Friday maybe.

The waiting is agony, worse than Christmas! They should do TTC advent calendars so at least u can have a bit of choccy each day.
