Do we need to crack out the brooking wet fish? I hate to smack an almost pregnant person but Sweetie everything will be fine. You're just getting mentalling practice for when you're pregnant :)

Solars · 05/04/2013 16:11

Sweetie 6 sounds really good to me, theyll be top quality too and you'll have enough to freeze, plus other follicles may grow between now and Tuesday. You go girl on the sff! Brooking loads for you x

SweetieTime · 05/04/2013 17:52

bring on the wet fish Grin Grin Grin

ControlGeek · 05/04/2013 18:13

Ooh sweetie theres nothing wrong with 6! Iirc theres a pretty young age cutoff for egg donatiob, so it's not like youre getting six of my crumbly eggs, theyll be young and perfectly healthy. Might they have had to reduce the stims if she was showong signs of ohss or something? Brookinging that these six give you your bfp and a chance at a sibling. No argument :)

ControlGeek · 05/04/2013 18:14

Brookinging??? Sorry for imps fingers, i hate poating on my phone!

RubberBullets · 05/04/2013 18:17

I dread to think what poating is. At least you don't poas on your phone :o

Dammit i mean !!!!

RubberBullets · 05/04/2013 19:09

:o

SweetieTime · 05/04/2013 19:59

Geek loving the Imps fingers typing. The donor have to be under 36 so she doesn't have to be that young. We are taking it a step at a time. DH have had a good chat on our dog walk only time we get no distractions and have agreed to not look too far ahead. We have to remain positive and take the advice of the experts. Also if I have ET next Friday I am off the hook for the Christening on the Saturday.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/04/2013 21:24

Geek the Imps fingers is brilliant!! I miss Imps :(

keepitgoing · 06/04/2013 05:44

It's so true about not looking too far ahead, or its overwhelming.

That's bad news about you having to miss the christening ;)

I've not dtd since the day before embryo transfer (there is a study showing it can help the body recognise or prepare for the embryo, I can show you if you want). May think about it next weekend...

geek soon enough we will all poat, POA telephone, to see what's what. But not yet, woman!

Geek you have a terrible case of imp fingers young lady. It did make for great reading this morning. I nearly snorted tea out of my nose Grin

Sweetie how are you feeling now? 6 follies sound good and she still has time to grow more. It may well be that she is on relatively low dose of stimms if she has a high amh etc.. Am I right in thinking you can sometimes have more than one egg in each follicle? I can't believe ET is nearly here, I'm so excited for you & DH. Brooking for top quality eggs and some lovely frosties for the freezer.

Keep is that true about dtd before hand? Is your scan on the 14th? How are you feeling?

Solars how was the holiday? I've never been to Italy, I'm thinking about booking a holiday after our first cycle but money is a bit tight as I've not been working full time since January. I'm going back to full time with my new job in may so hopefully can save up a bit then. Have you got any appointments coming up?

Beedle did you work up the courage to phone the clinic? I absolutely hate doing stuff like that. I'm going to have to call our clinic on Monday as its 3 weeks since our appointment and we are waiting for a letter to say we are registered with HFEA before we can start. The doctor said it could take a month but all the girls on fertility friends say it should be done in 2 weeks. I would just leave it but AF is due in less than a week & I can't request treatment without the letter.

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend?

ControlGeek · 06/04/2013 09:31

I'm on the verge of giving up caring about my typing when I'm posting on my phone! I most definitely was NOT POAT (telephone) as I was sat in the middle of a busy pub Grin However I do remember reading about a phone app they have developed to test for about 20 different diseases from a urine sample. I was a bit worried until I realised you had to purchase a pot and test sticks, then use your phone's camera to analyse the test stick colours.

Well, here I am, tapping away at work again. The woman I'm supposed to be working with hasn't yet turned up, so there is literally nothing that I can do.

sweetie just re-read and seen what you said about having to miss the christening - brilliant news!

Oops colleague's arrived, got to go.

DinoSnores · 06/04/2013 10:32

Just wanted to say that I have just guaranteed a BFP for one of you as AF has decided to visit me instead. DD2 is 7 weeks old on Monday! Grr! Anyway, it is all for a good cause if it means another grad from this thread! I'll keep brooking...

keepitgoing · 06/04/2013 10:47

Oh god bartlett she's just been circling waiting to go visiting you again. Is this a permanent name change I have to get used to...?

geek why are you at work?

cup definitely ring them and explain about af and see if they can hurry it along.

I'll dig out the article. It showed lower miscarriage rates, but about the same implantation rates. Who knows. My scans on the 18th. 12 days I had a minor freak out this morning that I just feel quite normal, but dh was v good...

keepitgoing · 06/04/2013 10:50

try again

ControlGeek · 06/04/2013 11:26

I've just had a quick scan of that keep, it makes for very interesting reading. Will try and get my head around it properly when I get home. I'm working because it's payroll year end and there's a lot of things that need doing that can't be done in normal working hours.

bartlet do you prefer dino or snores? Sorry to hear AF has arrived so quickly, you would have thought she would give you a few months more off at least. However, you have guaranteed sweetie's BFP

cups glad you enjoyed your tea-snorting moment Grin

beedle any clinic news?

oops time to go again!

SweetieTime · 06/04/2013 12:11

keep I hadn't heard that a sly SFF before ET would be a good thing. I will see if I can encourage DH on Thursday. I still have to get things going in that department this afternoon Wink

Bartlett / Dino so sorry that AF has come to visit so soon after DD2 arrival that is just unfair, but I sort of hope that means she wont be visiting any of us for a VERY long time

keepitgoing · 06/04/2013 12:19

Well, there's no harm in trying, its quite a nice one esp as we were then told no dtd... I wouldn't have thought it'd be too hard to persuade dh!

snores if you're anything like Jen.... ;)

keepitgoing · 06/04/2013 12:20

Esp as you won't have had egg collection, sweetie, so no chance of infection!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 06/04/2013 14:59

Ooh, AF is with a grad :):) that is very exciting, Jen had mine for me Grin

Sweetie it looks like a bit of sff is a very good idea!

Geek hope you don't have to work too hard on too many weekends!

ControlGeek · 06/04/2013 16:40

Fingers crossed this is the last one for a good few months, boo. At least I was able to leave the office just after lunchtime and do the rest from home. Just a case of checking in every so often now to see when a job has finished, so nothing too taxing.

MrG is currently sleeping off his codeine so I went out and bought something new to try and entice him into the bedroom later Grin Looks like I'll be getting my CBFM peak tomorrow so it's definitely worth a shot!
