Sweetie my sister has got one of those trackers on her Facebook page. I'm pissed off at how insensitive she & my mum are being. Their Facebook pages are filled with baby stuff. I've unsubscribed to them both. Even DH is sick of all the stuff on there so I don't think I'm overreacting.

How did you get on with your card? I think it's lovely to get her a card but it must be very difficult to write.

Geek good luck with the meeting, I'm very that they have cake on the agenda. It sounds my kind of place. Yay on getting rid of the stitches. Did you manage any swi? I got my peak the day I started with my cold last week, bloody typical!

I didn't get very far with writing the card I watched the Beyonce documentry from last week. Did anyone see it? I love her and she talked about a previous miscarriage and how hurtful the press speculation was when she was pregnant with her baby. Right I must get on with writing the card.

Geek that's great about the stitches, but boo to MrG's back. We only got the allotment last year, but we have done nothing on it so far this year! Apparently I have a lovely womble. It is just where it needs to be. I am very pleased. Our donor is a week into jabs and looking good. There is a scan tomorrow when they will know more when collection is going to be, they think early to mid next week. Exciting

Sheeesh is everyone else also having snow flurries today?? It's been non stop here and I'm starting to get really bored with this arctic weather....come on sunshine, where are you? I bought some pretty springtime shoes recently and I want to wear them now!!

solars it's lovely to have you back! How was your trip? No snow flurries here today, but the wind is making it ever so cold. The lap wounds are looking ok, amazingly it's the scars from the stitches that look the worst! I'm back doing the 30 day shred, but only every other day until I build my stomach strength back up.

sweetie I love a good womble story Hope your card writing went well, it's so hard to find the right balance between saying what you want to say and not being overly gushy. I think it's lovely that you want to give your donor a card though. It's an amazing thing that they're doing. Will they get to find out about your forthcoming BFP, or will they never know that it is successful?

Jen unfortunately MrG can't bear the notion. I suggested it the last time he had a bad back but he thought it would be too painful.

cups damn your rotten cold. No SWI here. I did suggest the freezer bag thing to MrG at lunchtime only half in jest but for some reason he really didn't seem too keen. He thinks as long as he takes codeine and I can hold on til the weekend, I may be lucky. He seems to think it is all about timing, just doesn't get the idea of frequency!

maybe that's a really impressive list! The first year I had my allotment my list was a bit like that, then it went downhill rapidly thanks to several years of freak weather conditions. My second summer, my plot was four foot under water! This year I was thinking of putting some spuds in bags, and we have strawberries in a planter on the patio.

WI was actually really good! We had a talk from a guest speaker which put us about half an hour behind time, and I drew my own number out of the raffle I've decided to become a full member, so will pay my money next month. Finally coughed to MrG that it wasn't just a book group

All OK here, feeling very tentative. 6 weeks today, scan in 13 days after which we would tell our families if all's OK. No symptoms except wind... But the brooking grads are reassuring me about that.

Ooh, I told dh I'm on mn yesterday as he kept suggesting I join an AN thread on one of the many baby websites. I was, like, er, I've been on it for ages

cups I have hidden people's news feeds for much more minor transgressions than pregnancy trackers - luckily I don't think I know anyone that has got one. And I think only 1 non-brooker friend who is pregnant anyway. Brookers' updates and cute baby photos are OK in my world :o

keep how does you DH know about these things? I'm sure MrB has no idea that ante-natal threads exist on parenting forums.

No news here about the appointment - I shall be brave and ring them on Monday as our theoretical 3 months on the waiting list is up then. I'm not usually such a wimp, but its bloomin hard to argue on the phone in a foreign language.

I had a FB friend with one of those tracker things, she also updated us with a few bump pics every 4 weeks all the way through, then treated us to pictures from the delivery room, one titled '15 minutes before I met my baby' and another immediately following delivery [eek] I have tried not to bore anyone on FB with every detail (apart from on our page) we all know how hard it can be, and I have RL friends who are struggling ttc :(

Oh and Mr B knows all about you, has done for ages. He thinks me are all a little bit crazy :)

Am trying not to be disappointed cry my eyes out clinic just called with news on our donor. she may only has 6 follicles we had hoped for 10 eggs. as you all know it really is a numbers game. I know it only takes one but I was hoping we would get frosties for another go if this one didn't work or if it did the chance of a sibling. I just hope some small follies catch up before collection on Tuesday.

Oh sweetie there's loads of time till Tuesday. Lots of follies pop up later. And there is a big school of thought on quality not quantity. 6 is quite a few xxx

I didn't mean to sound flippant, I can understand that you're upset and there's a lot riding on this cycle. But six is brilliant. And she's a young fertile whippersnapper so I'm sure you'll get better fertilization and grow rates than most of us. Is it set for Tuesday then? It's exciting, my love. Don't feel down, just one step at a time.

thanks for all your thoughts. I suppose it was a bit of a shock as i was expecting a greater number. I hope this lower number doesn't mean the donor is knocking on a bit. The mentalling has begun. it is likely to be a 3 day transfer so a week today that will be. I will see if I can encourage dh into some sff over the weekend
