TTC #2 and turning into a nut job!

Ladies, bring me back down to Earth before it's too late! I'm TTC #2 and its only the 2nd cycle and I'm already doing my own head in not to mention my OH.....we're not the kind of couple to have regular sex when not TTC (much to my disappointment ) so it's a real effort for DS to, erm, pull his finger out as it were and DTD every other day. With DS1 I had no idea about CM and OPKs and just used an ovulation calendar for timing but this time round I'm in danger of falling into the OPK trap! I'm aware of my constant whittling and DH even said that he hopes I get pregnant this month so he doesn't have to listen to me begging for him to do it just one more time! Anyone in the same boat?

Have you tested this morning Abi? Everything here is crossed for you! Tired and weird sounds promising.

stone sorry you are feeling blue hun - I don't think people can understand the pressure when ttc - I know dtd for fun should be the way forward but it's not always that easy. Like Attila said - can you sit down and have a chat with him?

No opk's for me just checking cm, I'm finding things a lot easier now I've been on b6. I'm feeling very excited and hopeful this month!! Now in 2ww.

Thanks all for the lovely scan comments. Have been feeling so ill and rough all weekend I've hardly been near the computer but coming round a bit better this evening! I am also less concerned with all the work shite and starting to really look forward to the new arrival. Money and jobs always have a way of working themselves out. Babies are much more important and cute!

Sorry such a late reply, had FIL birthday party to go to today and as it was my lay in day, I overslept by like loads!! (was so nice to be able to sleep though!) My other half and I since our DS was born, have a day each on the weekend for a lay in, my OH has Sat and I have Sundays

So checked my temp first thing this morning, and its still higher than normal. AF had not arrived during the night (which is what it normally does!) so I POAS (well in a container then dipped it!) with my FMU (with the ones you sent me winter) and I thought I could see a very feint line again. so put it in the pack and left it. Went back to it after an hour and the line was still feint but a little wider. So put it back in the packed and left it. Got back this evening, and checked it, and the line was deffo wider and a little bit darker, but this is after 8 hours!! So surely I cant count that as a + can I?? my OH and I think it looks slightly pink, but we might just be ever hopeful, and it could just be an evaporation line right? I am soooo confused right now! I took a pic on my phone, and sent an email to my mum to ask her opinion, but haven't heard back from her yet!!

I haven't had my 'normal' AF headache yet, but have got lower back ache, but that could even be down to sleeping in this morning, (sorry if this next bit is tmi) around my AF time I get a loser feeling, you know, down there, I have that at the mo, and that trickling feeling, so I go to the loo, and there is nothing there!! Whats that all about?! so who knows! arrrrgggghhhh so confused!!

winter sorry to hear you have been feeling rough this last weekend, but glad you are feeling a little better now. You're so right on the work shite front for sure, these things do have a habit of working out, even more so if you have the determination, and to concentrate your efforts on little bean is far more important ( and far more fun if you ask me )

oooooh babyrose I hope this 2ww doesn't drag on for you too much! Luckily I didn't stop dtd with OH until just over a week before AF was due (which should have been today!) so it made my time less to wait (although still technically waiting!!).

stone sorry to hear you have been feeling down, men eh! they like the idea of something, but to get them to put the work in to get it, when we remind them (which im sure they all call it nagging, I call it a reminder bcos they didn't listen the first time!!) well that's the trouble!! Can you talk to him about? Perhaps make a lighted conversation, throw in a few jokes to get him relaxed and talking about it a bit more? I hope that helps, do let us know how it's all going?! hugz

Last night and this morning I felt nauseous but I think that might be down to the fact we have a funeral to go to today. Plus im hungry too. Its not the funeral that scares me, I just feel sad and worried for the people its going to affect the most.

My temp has gone down this morning ladies, what does that mean again? I think that I have that until I get a BFP within the time limit of the test (and not hours after!) Im going to consider that my AF is just running late.

Hello ladies! Abi I think we're in the same boat. Have poas with fmu for last 2 days and both times have ended up with a very faint line ... AF due this Fri but naturally started testing a good week before!
Line hasn't fully appeared until after the 10mins my tests say to wait, so am unsure whether it's valid or an evap line... Haven't shown / mentioned to dh as don't want to disappoint him....

Am going to try to resist testing again ( famous last words!) til AF due...

I was trying to work out when I think I ovulated. I had some cm started on thurs(cd12), loads on Fri (cd13)and then started to dry up sat(cd14) I hope we haven't missed it

smidge hopefully yours will come up stronger by the time your AF is due. Im convinced its an evap line as its like hours after the test is done that the line comes up! So its just a waiting game.. ...

i am so pleased i am not alone!! lol.....i do not talk to my partner about it as i would drive him nuts.
this month is my 4th month and by far the worst!!!
i have only ever been 1 day late maximum.
i am currently 4 days late, have plenty of symptoms for last 2 weeks but a big fat negative test this morning!!!
driving me totally nuts now!!! lol
and really not too sure what to do next haha x

I don't really speak to him about it as I get depressed upset about the all subject

Hi ladies....I popped on her last month and then stayed off for a while after a BFP followed 2 days later by AF :(
Congrats to all the BFP's....I hope you are feeling ok mummy...I had a miscarriage before my DD and I literally went insane with worry for the first 12 weeks...well maybe 20 weeks with her!

I ovulated at the weekend so thank god can stop trying to seduce my DH who must think all his Xmas's have come at once with my covert DTD a lot to conceive! AF due 1st June so we can POAS together babyrose. In my head I'm waiting until the 1st but in reality I could be testing anytime from tomorrow ;)

mummy is ov day for me today (cd14) and DH working away now so nothing more i can do but wait... we managed to dtd on cd4, cd6, cd8, cd11, cd12 and cd13. So im hoping i'm well covered for this month! I hope everything is ok with you and you are feeling ok

babyrose and muzzy I'm just behind you and starting the dredded 2ww! Im already predicting some slepless nights and endless symptom spotting. I will be poas beginning of june (or whenever i can hold off til!) so its nice to have some other nutters in the same boat!

Thank you ladies! Today has been an overwhelming day, so will be glad to nod off! AF still hasn't arrived yet. If its not arrived by wed then I will do a test then. Have a good 6 tests here of different types. No cb but they didn't do much for ne last time till I was further gone anyhow due to detection levels of 25miu whereas the ones I have at the mo which are 10miu so it might just be I have lower levels until later on!
kerrie I know what you're going through, I had been pretty much on time until last month. I was 7 days late!! Id suffered a chem pg so keeping my pinkies crossed that you dont have that! Im a day late, so if it doesn't arrive by wed I'd be 3 days after the day my AF was due. I tested on last thurs and yesterday and both came up BFN within the test times. Then came up with feint pinkish lines hours after. So I have to consider them as BFN really. So until AF arrives or I get a BFP within the alloted time, I am sooooo in the same boat as you! stone and talla you have every right to be in humps with your OH's really, but the only thing I can think if which will get you what you need them to do (dtd) you may have to stroke their 'man ego's' a bit! !! If it means you can get a BFP at some point soon then its got to be worth it!!! [Wink]

Keep feeling tired. But still got that loose feeling down below along with the trickle feeling but nothing there yet! Has anyone had that yet? Abdomen feeling tender, but not the normal AF feeling, backache but again could be AF trying something new on me!! No intense AF headache yet. So confused!!!
