IBelieveInPink · 06/01/2013 23:53

Thanks shell. I have booked in to see the doc on Tuesday so will see if they need me to go for a scan then.

yorkie still think that's v brave of you. My neighbours are a nightmare, but id be too scared to go over and shout at them! The woman is very, very large, id be scared she could take me out! :D
Do like the image of detective Pajamas thought. Teehee.

Happy Monday... Have namechanged to take my baubles down after 12th Night.

ibip, sorry to hear your news. Hope docs goes OK.

Hi to the newbies, hope you're all doing as well as can be expected.

Also amused by yorkie's fluffy slippers!

AF showed up over the weekend. I am unsurprised. I coped better than I did the first cycle (did not have to lock myself in bathroom and sob) but it still SUCKS.

Not much else to add. I really, really want to get pregnant in the next 2 cycles, otherwise I will have passed what would have been my due date. Argh.

Thunderthunderthundercats · 07/01/2013 13:26

Hi all.

pink, good plan about contacting doctor- let us know how you get on? Hope you are doing ok today and keeping nice and busy.

sally, sorry af got you. Do you use opks or anything? Just thinking of ways of helping getting pg in the next two cycles....

Bakingtins · 07/01/2013 13:31

Sally we can be cycle buddies this time then. My due date was April, so I've prob got 3 cycles . I was really hoping to be past the most worried stage by then though, I'm not sure a BFP and panic about another first trim miscarriage is going to make that day easier to get through.

Pink hope you are feeling ok today, let us know how you get on with the doctor tomorrow.

yorkiebilb · 07/01/2013 13:33

sally It does suck. sorry to hear af came along. Mine, yours and Pink af arrived roughly the same time so you'll have plenty of company on this cycle along with everyone else on here. Just been to boots to stock up on his and her vit tablets, opks etc. and it cost me a whopping £50!! Whoops!

literaryone · 07/01/2013 14:36

Hello. Bit late to wish everyone a happy new year, I guess. Just checking in briefly, am too wiped out to say much. POst-Christmas (which I survived just fin), it's been ghastly -- one crisis after another with DH and me both miserable and the due-date-for-the-baby-we-won't-have is fast approaching... and I am so terribly sad about that.

We'll probably postpone TTC for a few months until we get our heads sorted out...

yorkiebilb · 07/01/2013 16:08

literary so sorry to hear you're having such a rubbish time. you're doing the right thing by holding off the ttc till you're both ready - just take it one day at a time I guess....

JanieLovesHerThreeLeggedCat · 07/01/2013 18:04

Bakingtins, yorkieand Sally I reckon i might be your cycle buddy too... got some period cramps at the minute so I'm guessing she'll make an appearance soon boohoo. that's if i'm having my first 'normal' cycle and not a 50 day one (i'm hoping so as then i get more times to try if i'm ovulating more regularly than before). going to hold off for 2 more days before poas yeah right

sorry to read your news ibip, hope your doctor is sympathetic and helpful. just take your time and do what you need to do to get through this tough time :(

Name change for me too, decided it was time totake the xmas decorations down from the name :)

chocolateteabag · 07/01/2013 20:10

Hi everyone, sorry to hear about AF coming for some of you Sad

I still have 6 house guests driving me mad, we opened the last Christmas presents last night. They are starting to leave from to morrow but last ones only on Friday. Having to sit through Corrie biting tongue while they complain about "the gays" flaunting themselves (ie kissing). My moral High horse is missing me

However on the plus side, it takes my mind of thinking about whether I have ov'd and what DPO day I could be on. Just waiting for AF or the end of the week month to test.

Bodicea · 07/01/2013 20:14

Praying for my AF soon ( am waiting one cycle post ERCP) . Major PMT. I miss being on the pill and having stable emotions.

yorkiebilb · 07/01/2013 20:53

janie it's not over until af appears. fx for you.

chocolate can't believe you are still Xmas entertaining on the 7 Jan! You must have the patience of a saint!

bodicea you have my complete sympathy. I had major pmt the past week - I was snapping at my hubby...felt like such a cow. feel so much better now af has started. Hopefully yours will arrive soon too.

diyqueen · 07/01/2013 21:00

Sorry for those who got AF. Will be joining you soon I'm sure (if the stupid mc bleeding ever stops...) and can quite easily imagine sobbing in the bathroom too.

Trying to decide here whether to wait for first AF or just get on with it. I'm kind of thinking that the chances of getting pg are that slim anyway (as we have fertility issues) that me and DP might just as well get back to enjoying ourselves... Just really want to feel 'normal' again. And if by an absolute miracle I did get pg straight away, well, what will be will be...

Literary so sorry you're feeling low, but quite understandable. Be kind to yourself. All the best Pink, hope you get a useful doctor.

JanieLovesHerThreeLeggedCat · 07/01/2013 21:03

oooh just spotted a program starting on bbc4 now about couples ttc called the babymakers :)

and thanks yorkie fx here too :)

yorkiebilb · 07/01/2013 21:09

thanks for that Janie just switched over!

JanieLovesHerThreeLeggedCat · 07/01/2013 21:48

God I'm balling my eyes out watching it :(

yorkiebilb · 07/01/2013 22:05

Me too! That was emotional.

yorkiebilb · 07/01/2013 22:16

diy hope your bleeding stops soon. I know that feeling of wanting to get back to normal again. Just see how you feel on a day by basis.

Lucky13ForBaby · 08/01/2013 10:51

Hi all. Sorry to those who AF got! I got mine this morning so now that's cycle 3 post 2mc in a row. Very gutting! My due date in April is also fast approaching. Time to order some more ov sticks I think! Keep telling myself I must stay positive and enjoy what we have. Sat outside DS nursery. His first day today and there were lots of tears :(

Thunderthunderthundercats · 08/01/2013 11:46

Morning all, so this programme last night was good then? Or heartbreaking?

Sorry for all those who got af and didn't want to. On the plus side a few of you are pretty similar in cycles now so you can be Poas buddies?

If I'm getting back to normal- (big IF) I've probably ovulated now I reckon which means I'm back to the tww for the first time since August.

chocolateteabag · 08/01/2013 11:52

Oh rat arse rat, c-word, c-word, c-word (I use it alot in RL sorry)
Lucky13 I think we are cycle buds this month as my AF looks to be on her way. First one since MC but I was foolishly hoping we'd manage to get a first egg out of the bag BFP. At least means I'll have a full "spring clean" so to speak.

Today is supposed to be a work from home day - but feel like I am hiding while the guests are still having a party downstairs. AF coming is just the cherry on the cake of crappity crapness today. Most of them don't know about the MC (would be a whole new circle of hell as they'd be fussing and "advising" me more than already are)

Sorry - have been a bit me me me on my posts so far.

DIY - I would go for it. Then if AF does come, you won't regret not trying this time. But see how you feel once bleeding has stopped.

diyqueen · 08/01/2013 13:05

That is crap, I'm sorry. Onwards and upwards from here and hope your guests bugger off soon.

Lucky, I know what you mean and I'm trying to think like that too. I have a dd already and if anything the mc has made me realise just how lucky I am and what a miracle she is. I would love her to have a sibling but if it doesn't happen at least we have her, I think I'd feel a zillion times worse right now if I didn't already have one dc.

diyqueen · 08/01/2013 13:06

Oh and lucky I hope he enjoyed his day at nursery in the end and that it's easier tomorrow

CoffeeForSally · 08/01/2013 13:20

Afternoon! Sorry to all the other AFs, and thanks for the sympathy all. Looks like I've got quite a lot of cycle buddies there.

thunder I temp, and I get fairly obvious O cramps (although I broke my electronic thermometer this morning by dropping it in the FULL bathroom sink, gah). And (tmi) we have quite an... active sex life so just do it every day and hope.

literary I'm so sorry it's so hard. I think you're right to concentrate on you, it's an incredibly hard thing to go through and you need to make sure you're OK.

diy I think if getting back to it helps you feel normal, do it. I did and it did help me (and, obviously, did not get pg.)

chocolate I think if you still have a houseful of Christmas guests you are allowed to say cunt.

I spotted that programme last night and thought it would make me cry, so deliberately didn't watch. Suspect I was probably right.

DH has decided he is doing "dry January" for some reason. Maybe it'll help! Also I bought him a tablet for Xmas so less laptop on the... gentleman's area. And I have bought grapefruit juice, apparently it helps with mucus.

Huh. Might be getting carried away again.

Thunderthunderthundercats · 08/01/2013 14:12

sally, all sounds good, apart from the thermometer splash that is! Am jealous of your amazing sex life too!

choc sorry that af may be making an appearance. Are you sure she definitely is though? There is a albeit small positive in there too- at least you'll know where you are for next month's ttc?
