I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

Delighted to have work taken out of my hands...literally! But have gone from 0 to minus 60 in several hours - struggling to tidy up house! No motivation at all!

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:04

Peachy are you mainstream school?
Any ideas where the linked literacy objective planning website thing has gone?!!!

I'm a bit stuffed without it at the moment!

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:05

Oooh - that was freaky....maazaa your message popped up instead of mine! Weird!

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:05

No SEN - MLD. But I can have a look for you. I am supposed to 'do' the lit strategy.

maazaa · 01/05/2006 16:06

Spooky! What age group you planning for?

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:07

Had it on favourites (how sad) and only need it at the beginning(ish) of each term so had a shock when it wasn't there......oh well....read a few messages on here.....done a bit of internet shopping......not all bad Wink !!

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:08

Year 2 and 1. Mostly yr2 so, sadly, mostly SATs stuff but thought I'd do a bit of poetry or something for light relief!! You?

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:09

Is it here?\link{http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/primary\Standards}

maazaa · 01/05/2006 16:10

Great big spotty teenagers - Year 7-13. EUGH! Do you use www.primaryresources.co.uk? I have done quite a lot of one-to-one tuition and it's great, but obviously not sure how good it is for use in classroom!

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:16

or maybe here .. but that just links to the standards site\link{http://www.qca.org.uk/3.html\ QCA Yawn}
remember that they are going to merge soon - or maybe have already so the site may be changing?

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:16

how are you both by the way?

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:17

I am such a spanner Blush Peachy you are fab.
I looked here earlier (being the page I usually go to) but it's changed and none of the blue links had anything to do with it but it was a GREAT BIG RED link!!! Feel REALLY dim.....but thankyou! I have now saved the proper page in my favourites under 'Peachy lit objectives'!!!

I've looked on once or twice maazaa but I don't teach alot (!) as I'm part-time so I do lit. and numeracy planned with jobshare and then music express (or my own thing usually) and a bit of PE and a bit of RE and that's more or less my week!!
Of course with littlys you also get a luverly pm playtime too!!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 16:21

Good thanks, Peachy? All well here except for boobache!!! How are you?

Glad you found Peachy found the site for you Coggy!

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:23

What do you specialise in maazaa?
I teach a group of teenagers once a week and it is TOTALLY different to primary - I don't know how you do it!!

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:27

No worries you are very welcome!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 16:40

coggy · 01/05/2006 18:30

Sorry...I had to shoot off. Just remembered something I'd forgotton!!
I am music too..seriously hard work around Christmas time but usually okay the rest of the year. :)

flowertot · 01/05/2006 19:41

Sorry to be a pain - does anyone know how long the old spermies lives for - in other words how many days before ovulation could possibly be a hit?

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 19:42

Thats the egg maazaa well- 48 hours!
The NF nurse called these 'super sperm' and this is why some women can get pregnant when in th last days of their period.
She said all the men who came in with their partners liked to think they had them!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 19:48

ahhhhhhhhhh, yes! too many stats to remember!!! dh reckons he has supersperm!

coggy · 01/05/2006 19:53

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 20:06
