POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).

Now not getting results until next week. When I rang this morning the receptionist told me to ring back at 2pm, so I do and no one answers the phone. I try again on a different line and the recptionist (different one) says to ring back at 4pm when the doctor can speak to me. I ring at 4pm and another different receptionist says now the doctor can't speak to me or see me till next Thursday. After waiting for 3 hours for my eye appointment the other day at the hospital and now this I am starting to feel enraged by the NHS, their 'time-saving' systems and crap communication with patients. Why couldn't they have just told me that this morning instead of wasting my whole day waiting for tests I am now not going to get until next week. So mad.

Sorry - had to get that off my chest. Some fo the NHS is good I know (I used to work for them a long time ago), but man, my doctors and local hospital don't know their arses from their elbows. It scares me about potentially having a baby and being in their care!

Red That link is funny because it's true.lol. There's 13 months between my DS and DD, DS didn't sleep and DD has 3 months of colic....so I didn't sleep either. I still want to do it again though.lol

Calmed myself by making the Christmassy flapjacks I was supposed to make earlier in the week, but didn't have time to. They've got orange and cinnamon in them - yum.

Mr Bear and I have decided to have no 'big things' discussions this weekend (as in life decisions, we don't sit round discussing 'big things', ahem - oh dear, innuendotastic again!) so we might plan a holiday to Canada and US or Borneo for the summer.

I received the phone call from the practice confirming that is was an early miscarriage...:( .Starting again.
As I am not so young as some of you I will use the awful and must not be talked about, CBFM some help but can I still hang around here ?? Please do not kick me away as it is a great board!! :)
DH goes around saying " my things are in full working order" and I get cross. Shouldn't really...they are, as we conceived twice since march. But in my head (I am awful I know) I hear " I am old but it is ok ,you (me) are old and your body does not work as it should".... So I made DH cook last night !!! I need to also say...awful food. I can not die otherwise they will starve!!!

And next time I get a BFP (I hope I will) I will share with you here and with my dog (Tessy Welly), and nobody in RL, because my guilt in inflicting pain on DH and my mother adds to the stress... and because as I am rounder (ahem) nobody would notice anyway!!!

Well off to buy more food...we are a family of 3 (DD lives with fiancee) and at Xmas the number of people sleeping over 3 nights was 12 , but now it will be 15!!! 15!!! With two vegetarian, a vegan and a very allergic little boy (my adorable nephew) I need to plan!!! and I Might be on my ovulating time!!! I need a shed to shag in...:)

I am just awaiting ERTD this am - hoping it turns up today so at least I can have my second blood test tomorrow.

On a positive note, a friend of mine who is 35 and has been TTC gave birth to a DD the other day. She went through IVF and got pregnant only to have an MC at 6 months, so I am so happy that she finally has the baby in her arms and it really gives me hope. Thought I'd share as it's nice to hear of others' success stories I think.

Hi everyone....haven't been around for a while....have been ill with stoooopid cold, DP has had various ailments that I've pretended to be sympathetic about pandered too, work has been a massive bag of wank, my house looks like Beirut (and not even through decorating etc, just sheer mess!).... So, the shaggin has been on the back burner. Still managed a few sessions but alas, evil shitty af turned up today. No Xmas bfp for me, but somehow I've felt more relaxed about it this month. The first month is a bit stressy. Anyhow, this means I'll be hopping on the wagon around Xmas, so not all bad, and this months cycle was 28 days, so that's good. An gona go catch up on the chat/lives of everyone else now! There's been some severe postage since I was last on!

Oh and here's a funny little story..., my DP broke up for Xmas on fri from work (grrrrr) so I assumed he'd be full of the joys when I got bk. I had a shit day at work, didn't finish till 6 and got home around 6;30. I walked in, DP was already home, doing the washing (he's trained good like that) he moaned that I was late back from work and that our heating wasn't working (????) I touched the radiators which were hot and the house felt warm (????) so anyway I went upstairs to get changed (went to the loo first) when I walked in our bedroom, DP was lying in our bed dithering saying it was soooooo coollllddd and that he was freezzziiinngg. (In best dithery voice) I told him to man up and grabbed my towel to go in the shower but I knew he was up to something. He stood up and hugged me (teeth still chattering away!) and then said (in non cold, non dithery, non freezing voice) 'shall we have sex'. 'Like a book' I said!! Oh it did make me laugh. At least it's not just us that concoct ridiculous shag plans!! Afterwards he said he'd finished early and had waited since 3pm for me to come home for a shag hehe.

Glad to hear Mr. Frog is keeping you busy , Frog. I think my DH has contracted my plague, so we are at 0 shags so far this go-around. Not the way to make a baby, I know.

Last night was our annual party with our group of close friends. The two pregnant ladies were well behaved - there was only minimal talk of breast milk - and my other girlfriend who already has two kids had a glass of wine in hand at all times, so I had good company. I had a couple of moments but I think I did a good job of keeping them to myself as the only non-mom in the room.

Still not feeling festive here. Wrapping gifts, but the tree is not up, so I have nowhere to put them except all over the house. It is officially a disaster area, and my cat just ate a packing peanut. Can't wait to see what that's going to look like on my carpet.

The hubster thought he was helping by plying me with wine to shut me up but i ended up in a 'i'll never get preggers' blubbering wreck! have now caved in and ordered some OV test sticks from ebay, so much for not obssessing anymore!
