Just Shagging - JSers roll up for fred 12

Kittenkatzen · 01/11/2012 14:03

Oh, the other fred filled up all of a sudden! Oh well here's a new one....(horse feel free to replace if you want to be fred starter, just didn't want everyone in limbo!)

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and Brew with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Red I'm with you, desperately trying not to make symptoms out of every little thing. I suspect I'm somewhere between 6 and 9 dpo (I don't know anymore, my body is insane) have felt nauseous since late last night and my boobs are killing me. I'm expecting it to be ERTD, that way I won't be disappointed hope it's not

Bear I'd presume it's a comfort thing, swimmers will be happier if the five knuckle shuffle is a relaxed one? Lol. I can just imagine the places desperate wannabe dads have made their deposits. Hmm

notso I still have my fingers crossed for you.

Blummin cold today! Apparently women suffer more with winter blues....probably because they have to do the school run at -3! not bitter

cookielove · 06/12/2012 17:06

Humph i am taking a break from the whole just shagging, Dh has had an op which has put him out of business Sad (on his leg)

Wow, such great news for so many of you up there ^^ Smile fingers crossed for everyone

WingDefence · 06/12/2012 17:27

Hello all!!

Sorry to gatecrash this (happily successful!) thread, but I just wanted to let you know that we've filled up another grads thread and the new one is over HERE!

So if you've had a hint of a BFP, you know where to find us Xmas Grin.

AndIfATenTonTruck · 06/12/2012 19:48

Hi all, I am in shagging phase again, have also been at the contraband just so I understand my cycle. Did ov sticks yesterday and today (cd9/10) and they were unsurprisingly negative. DH is out on the piss tonight, we are both out tomorrow and staying over at a friend's house, and then DH out again Saturday night, so there will be morning or middle of the night shagging required I think!!

Fx notso, and anyone else quietly waiting...

zen1980 · 06/12/2012 20:37

hi all well still no af an have got a very faint bfp but am holding my breath! Dare not say cause it's so faint although admittedly darker this pm. Dont really what to say feeling very apprehensive atm.
Hope everyone is ok horrible winter weather here!!

Redshoes56 · 06/12/2012 21:01

Sorry to hear about Mr. Cookie's op, Cookie - hang with us while waiting to get back to business Xmas Grin

Day 9, still no spotting. I've been having spotting three to four days before AF every month since July, so this is an exciting improvement. Either a) spotting has ceased due to my vit B6 regimen, b) luteal phase is going to be longer than 10 days due to my vit B6 regimen, which would be great, or c) something else, which would be even better ... though I doubt this is the month. If it is, I'll be impressed that our one sloppy shag did the trick! 5 days of backache, 4 days of cramps could be anything. Willing the witch to stay far, far away.

LadyFlumpalot · 06/12/2012 21:06

Someone slap me please, I'm symptom spotting. Assuming the first day of bleeding after the miscarriage was the first day of a new cycle, I'm due on Sunday and I've been feeling sick every evening for the past week, my boobs hurt and I can't stop peeing.

Arrggghhhhhh!Confused

Redshoes56 · 07/12/2012 00:06

I have no business slapping anyone, lady, since I'm symptom spotting too. Since my last post I've gone from cool and collected to poking my poor boobs (if they didn't hurt before, they will now) and consulting Dr. Google, which is never wise, about my persistent backache. So slaps to both of us.

GaryBuseysTeeth · 07/12/2012 07:13

Hope Mr.Cookie gets back on his feet soon (not a pun), sounds stressful

Zen, congrats! Hope the line gets darker soon!
Notso, any news?
for LadyFlumpalot, hope your ERTD doesn't turn up on sunday, all symptoms sound positive.
for Red too! Sounds positive for you too.

Bear, mwhaha! I shouldn't laugh but that's hilarious, although bonus for a girl saying you're cute!
Good luck with the man juice, hope it's strong & sperm-a-licious

I think I might be coming back here soon than I wanted, something in my tummy went 'pop' earlier (not gas) and now where it was all firm & unpushable it's flabby & I have really bad backache. Xmas Sad

countrybumpkin2 · 07/12/2012 09:57

Notso how are you doing?

Cookie fingers crossed you are back in action soon.

Gary Hope everything is ok? I hope the pop isn't a sign of anything!

Yay for you Zen, I so badly want that line!

Sounds like many of us are symptom spotting!! Bad JSers......although think I am the worst. Caved yesterday and PIAR with a FRER. BFN......well what did I expect really! AF not due for another week! But still feeling V. pukey, slightly crampy and sore boobs like I have never had sore boobs before! Xmas Hmm

AndieMatrix · 07/12/2012 10:59

Need a hooya am desperate to pee on something but know its just not possible. Spent three days veering from nauseous to ravenous. Just not normal!!

Gary Hope all's well and the 'pop' was innocuous.

notso How are you??

Cookie Hope hubby's back in action soon.

Friendly hooyas for anyone else symptom spotting.

GaryBuseysTeeth · 07/12/2012 11:19

andie (my hand hurts from all this hooya-ing)!

bumpkin, those symptoms sound positive too, wow....hope we're on for a bumper crop of Christmas bfp's.

I'm feeling less of the symptoms atm, so think it's all over, but DH says it's not over until I'm bleeding & getting BFN's.
4 days away from when I mc last month, so hoping to get past that hurdle at the very least!

countrybumpkin2 · 07/12/2012 11:24

Gary keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you!

Xmas Smile
Bearface · 07/12/2012 12:51

I've got everything crossed for you Gary.

Had to go into the hospital to the Pathology unit today to pick up a male fertility leaflet for DH. There was a bunch of very embarrassed looking ment there and one standing to the side looking even more embarrassed. Turns out he was the milkman waiting for his money from the department! No wonder - dropping off bottles of white stuff and then waiting to be paid on a regular basis - poor bloke. He must've drawn the short straw there. Luckily I didn't see anyone I knew though!

Bearface · 07/12/2012 12:52

*men, not ment!

Redshoes56 · 07/12/2012 13:57

Spotting (and not the symptom kind) has begun, the witch is dusting off her broomstick. Boo and hiss. A Christmas gift in the form of a bfp or normal luteal phase would have been so nice. I will have a five-minute pity party during which I finish my fruit and nut Dairy Milk bar for breakfast, then it's onward and upward! Looks like Christmas day I'll be Fertile Myrtle and we can get to work on our New Year's Baby Xmas Grin

bear - hilarious. And I love that there are still milkmen!

Hang in there gary sending good thoughts....

AndIfATenTonTruck · 07/12/2012 14:28

DH and I are both "working at home" today. Xmas Grin so it's Friday frolics for us!

Bearface · 07/12/2012 15:43

I'd love to join your pity party Red - sounds like my kind of party! I'll bring my toffee apple muffin which I bought from the bakers this morning. Yum. Oh and my reason is that DH and I are off the wagon while he does his three day wait until he can deposit for hospital analysis on Monday. Sad I'm also having a shit time with annoying recruitment consultants who keep trying to push me into interviews I don't want to go to. Xmas Hmm

Still, might have caught ov this month - still not sure when ov occurs even though using OPKs as I hardly remember to do them! Back to JSing . . .

Enjoy your 'work' TenTon. Xmas Wink

AndieMatrix · 07/12/2012 17:00

Sounds 'productive' tenton heehee. Terrible joke, I know, but I am bored.

notsoold · 07/12/2012 18:10

Hi....
I tested on digital clearblue yesterday and got a pregnant 1-2 weeks... but the gp send me to blood test today to check why the variation. So the first hcg test results will be next monday.
Yesterday symptoms, today none!!!
Still i was happy until I went to the loo and there was a tiny amount of red blood in my knickers. Just put a pad and wait to see what happens
Oh dear....
Can one spot without losing the pregnancy???
Going to check in half hour and see...
Really need some hand holding...

AndieMatrix · 07/12/2012 18:32

notso Try not to worry. I spotted early on with both of my DCs and all was fine. It's quite common. I'll hold your hand.

Bearface · 07/12/2012 18:32

oh my goodness - just totally scared myself. Heard a sound like someone coming through the front door, though it's locked, eek! When I went to look, it was the inflatable bed falling out of the cupboard! It's so heavy it pushed the door open.

Ooo - how exciting Notso - I have absolutely no experience, but I believe you can have spotting and still be pg. My mum did! And me and my siblings are still here. Smile squeezes hand tightly. x

Redshoes56 · 07/12/2012 18:48

Don't fret, notso. No personal experience, as I am quite barren still (ha), but a good girlfriend told me she spotted every day for the first two weeks. Surely it was nerve-wracking for her, but all was fine for her and baby. She's due in a few weeks.

Anyone is welcome to my pity party, which has moved to Starbucks where I am working on a business plan for class and drinking a gingerbread latte WITH the whipped cream (gasp!). I deserve it. Stupid uterus' fault. Xmas Grin

Bearface · 07/12/2012 18:51

Mmmm Red! I ate the muffin and thought of you. Xmas Grin

Bearface · 07/12/2012 19:06

Oh dear - sorry! Just realised how rude that sounded! Arf! Sorry Red. Grin
