Oh, the other fred filled up all of a sudden! Oh well here's a new one....(horse feel free to replace if you want to be fred starter, just didn't want everyone in limbo!)

Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

((Red)), I'm so sorry for your friend & her family. I hope she & eldest son make excellent recoveries from their injuries...and her youngest is surrounded by lots of family & friends so he's not going through this alone. :(

This month we booked a nonrefundable holiday, bought all 'my' Christmas alcohol & banned in pg food & threw out my pregnancy magazines from DS, so hope that's enough for a sticky baby!

Bear, I would go to the Dr's & get checked out if I were you. If they can't do anything for you other than give you something to make them shorter it alone could be enough to get you pg.

Please can I come back? I had that wobble a few weeks ago, and wasn't sure if I was ready to be TTC again but have managed to sort out moving house so now have the space to have another baby, and I've been getting so broody again! I think (and this sounds daft, so feel free to throw biscuits and hooyas at me) but life feels pretty good at the moment. DS is fun, he's finally almost sleeping through the night, me and DH are really happy, I feel back to normal weight, and not still all frumpy etc as a new mum. Part of me still wonders why I want to change things, but I know I'll regret it if I don't have another baby.

So... Am hopping back onto JSing, if you'll have me! ERTD buggered off on Sunday, so officially back in the saddle have ordered some IC pregnancy tests off amazon. I nearly bought some ov sticks too but decided not too yet will see how I get on without them for a few months :)

Oooh, congrats waves too!!! Wouldn't get a tattoo done while pregnant, no reputable studio would do it anyway if they knew, but ignoring risks etc it would bloody hurt - I had a bikini wax while pregnant and had to stop before it was finished as my skin was just too tender, wouldn't have let anyone near me with needles after that!! Think risks are just what you would expect re unsanitary conditions, blood diseases etc but not certain if there's anything pregnancy specific as to why not to get it done :)

think it was just me and ding that were going to have a pee, waves, and we're both out this month. Unless you count the sympathy ov stick peeing by someone upthread!

Ah well, it means I don't need to awkwardly refuse booze at all the Christmas lunches now, I suppose!!

Welcome back Rock - so pleased to hear you are back to the JSing and that life seems happier. I'm still hanging around here purely because it is such a nice place to be, and it also feels a bit early to be on the pg freds.

Appreciate the advice on the tattoo - I shall leave that to post-baby I think. My studio is vair vair good, but I don't want to risk anything, and certainly don't want to have to bail part way through! I have far too many a fair few anyway, and I'd rather spend the money on the house/baby bits at the moment!

Okay, okay, I know I'm breaking fred rules but otherwise I'll never know and I feel like it's important for me to know as I'm so all over the place with WTF cycles.

The tattoo is a moustache (a la Poiroit) on the side of my left index finger. A friend's "tattoo parlour" was doing a Movember charity day so it hurt like hell but was for a good cause. It's my 7th and smallest tattoo. Waves Just to add to what Rock said, when pg you're more at risk to infection as your immunity is lowered so even going to the best, cleanest tattooist when you're healing you can still get infected and septecimia would be bad!! Pain raises your adrenaline also which is bad for bub.

Gary I hope your feeling is unfounded and that all is sticky, with all the fate tempting you've done it damn well should be.

I had a very moment earlier. My boss is a bit short on social skills, hangs around in the office when he really doesn't need to continue chatting, doesn't notice the "I'm going to get on with things now" sort of body language"... etc. So when I came back from a 2.5 hour meeting (over lunchtime!!!) and saw him loitering around, I did extra bustling and faffing while my PC logged back on and opened up screens. Unfortunately I had forgotten that the last thing I had been looking at before I locked it was an amazon basket page full of ov strips, ultra sensitive early preg tests, etc. ARGH!!! I am sure he saw, but it's possible he may not have actually clicked what it meant.

I've been calendar-watching and am now in the position that if I got pg this cycle, due date would be exactly when my DS1, August baby, is starting big school. How much fun would that not be with a newborn in tow!?!?

And the witch arrived at lunchtime. Curses.

T'wasn't good, so I declined. They were a bit annoyed with me, but I thought they should have told me all the details before getting me in there and then telling me. Certain things that should have been on the job description weren't there. Oh well, moving on . . .

My MIL has been taken into hospital and has to have an emergency op tomorrow so am a bit worried about her and FIL who is upset. They're so sweet, so I am a bit . Hope she's okay.
