Just Shagging - JSers roll up for fred 12

Kittenkatzen · 01/11/2012 14:03

Oh, the other fred filled up all of a sudden! Oh well here's a new one....(horse feel free to replace if you want to be fred starter, just didn't want everyone in limbo!)

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and Brew with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Well, at least you know it wasn't out of spite now, 34. FX for youthat the deposit was in time. Sounds like a nice Sunday you had yourself there. I had: a cry over ERTD followed by trip to B and Q, trip to Wickes, quick lunch, then painting all afternoon (got lots done though). Got better in evening with spaggy bol for tea and Homeland - small pleasures.

frogchops · 19/11/2012 09:15

Yes that Sunday doesn't sound bad at all! And at least he now knows ur issues with depositing in crap places. My DP has done this before, although wasn't really ttc then so wasn't an issue but still.....what a flipping mess.lol
My Sunday wInvolved visiting a Xmas Fayre with a friend, sampling lovely things, cheese, brandy, cake, etc..then a shaping trip with DP and tv all night. Not bad, plus I've booked today off work. Bonus

Aaaaaand......she's here, I think!! Af finally reared her vile little head. I actually whooped....after getting bfn's I knew I was out so I'm glad she's here iykwim. Onwards to Christmas bfps!!!

frogchops · 19/11/2012 09:17

Obv meant a shopping trip not a bloody shaping trip. We don't get on, me and this iPad!

AndIfATenTonTruck · 19/11/2012 09:40

Congrats Boy. Grin

I am due ERTD tomorrow at the earliest, Thursday would be cd28. Feeling no symptoms either way whatsoever. If nothing comes, I still won't be able to test until next Monday morning though (cd32) because of having yet more visitors. And I have had a recent cycle of 34 days so might leave it even later.

Am trying to convince myself the odds are against us, I am 33 so not probably fallen off a cliff, but my mum got pg on first cycle of half heartedly trying when 35... And DS was a one shot wonder.

So who knows. What was the online link to hpt multipacks, again...?!

Bearface · 19/11/2012 10:07

Not sure Ten - I'm just going through wesbites now looking for ov kits. Typed 'ov kit' into Sainsbury's online and first result was a Kit Kat! Grin

Bearface · 19/11/2012 10:10

Followed by paracetemol! I suppose you could eat the KitKat for comfort and if all the JSing/googling/symptom spotting/OH gave you a headache, you would have pain relief on hand.

frogchops · 19/11/2012 10:11

Bear did u see the post I put on re free kit in sainsburys, reduced to £5?? I'll try and find it. Otherwise I bought 15 tests for £2.80 and 50 ov sticks for £7.90 on amazon

frogchops · 19/11/2012 10:11

*frer kit not free, arrrrrrhhhhh

Bearface · 19/11/2012 10:16

I did - thanks Frog - I've looked online, but can't find it. Can't go out at the moment because of waiting for a big delivery, but will keep searching online.

Bearface · 19/11/2012 10:17

Thanks. Smile

frogchops · 19/11/2012 10:18

Yeah I looked too, can't see it. Maybe they're discontinuing them in store.

Kittenkatzen · 19/11/2012 10:24

Wine for frog, sorry ertd got you. Like you say onwards to Christmas BFP's for all!!

Happy Mondays all round! Esp. for kitten & your shagathon.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow tenton

Right; I had the mc from 25th Oct, phoned Midwives on the 28th to cancel all my appointments, had a letter from them about my scan last weekend, phoned them again to remind them I had a mc, midwife phoned again on Saturday to confirm my appointment today & DH reminded them I've had a mc.
I've just had a missed call from the midwives office again, about my appointment. Angry
Should I make a complaint? I don't mind (I know it's hard to get everyone talking/systems updated etc) but if I were devastated about the mc I would hate to be constantly reminded about it!

Bearface · 19/11/2012 10:56

Yes, I would Gary. Someone/several people aren't checking the system before they call and they've done it 3 times; it's not just once or twice. It could be really upsetting and I'm sure it's not that pleasant for you either.

Finally just looked up Gary Busey - made me Grin. I can't say I've ever seen a film he's been in and there's been a lot of them. I was most intrigued by 'The Gingerdead Man' though. Grin

AndieMatrix · 19/11/2012 11:01

I'd complain teeth if not just so they review their working practice, as you say it wouldn't be nice to be reminded constantly if it was already really upsetting for you.

I'm at the women's hospital for a check up after a colposcopy and biopsy 6 months ago. If they have to do any fiddling it'll knock JSing back a week meaning I miss some fertile days. Eeeep. If course I am slightly more concerned with finding out all is ok down there....slightly.

frogchops · 19/11/2012 14:57

Wandering round Sainsburys looking at lovely little Xmas gifts. DP turns up down the aisle, points at the ramekin dip set and says 'we could do with some of those, you keep peeing in ours'
Woman next to us looking at some other tat, looked disgusted and moved away.

Bronte41 · 19/11/2012 17:01

Haha frog that made me laugh! I use a US 3/4 cup measuring cup for testing. DH most perplexed by it!

I'm 10dpo (at a guess). Have ordered pg tests and opk. Seems I'm taking this more seriously than I first thought!!

Kittenkatzen · 19/11/2012 17:40

Lol frog Grin DH made me claim a single ramekin for peeing in and it now lives in the bathroom - he's slightly terrified of it finding its way back to the kitchen somehow!

Oh and a slight hijack:

mrsbriiiiiiiiiiii are you still lurking?? Excited much for Emirates next may?! Etihad for you I guess....will it be too close for you by then? Smile

OP posts:
MrsBri · 19/11/2012 18:12

Yay, Kitten!! I would be excited if I wasn't going to be 37 weeks' pregnant for the gig.

I'm just not going to make it :-( Gutted, as I hear it's a great venue too. Ah well.

I've told DH he can go though.

MrsBri · 19/11/2012 18:14

Oh, and I used to PIATH. (Piss in a tealight holder.) That's never going to have food / drink consumed from it, so it is safe.

It's kept in the bathroom cupboard now though!

Bearface · 19/11/2012 18:20

Oh I use those balls youalways get given with washing liquid for machine washes. You can always wash them again and they're big in case of industrial sized pee I have small pee

frogchops · 19/11/2012 20:19

Oh yes I've got lots of those washing things. I've been using a little pot tht I bought Creme brûlée in once! Since then I've used it for jelly. Bug now its had my wee in I think it's jelly days are over.
