JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Hi horse....this will be #2 for me but dh's first. I have a 13 yo dd from a previous relationship. Was single for about 10 years then met DH in Feb 11 and we got married this summer. Sometimes can't quite believe how much life has changed. I'd never have imagined I'd ever have another child.

I have 5 older half siblings with a 9 year age gap between me and the youngest, my sisters (12, 15 & 16 years older) were like extra mothers. It was great when they hint partners and took me on holidays and days out.

Horse - glad you don't seem to have any more mice! My mum had a bit of a mousey problem in her house and the only thing we could do is make sure every hole was filled and we're going through the rooms at the moment putting down laminate so nothing can get in via carpet, floorboards, etc. It's difficult to get every hole though!

Bronte - that's such a lovely story about how your life has changed.

Hi to all the people who I haven't 'met' yet

Well I've had a crap weekend. Some bastard stole my iPhone and Dh's friends Fil passed away so he invited him over on what was supposed to be shagging date night. So no Jsing for me this weekend at all :( most annoying thing is I was using the app to track my period and ov and now have no idea where I am in my cycle or when the witch is due. Boo to thieving pikey fuckers.

Talk ov pain to me girls. Saturday night and sun on and off all day I've been having stabby pains where I think my left ovary is. Took my breath away for a few seconds each time and once I even yelled. I've googled it and everything I have read suggests ov pain to be more like prolonged period type pain. Anyone else get this? No pant snot so I don't feel like I ov'd and I think I'm about cd10 of what is usually a 30-35 day cycle. Thoughts?

bumlove = tried it twice as h2b was keen but both times I felt uncomfortable with possible smell / puff that might occur so was not a relaxed affair. He tried again a few months ago to slip it in smash my back doors in during wine fuelled sofa sesh and cos he was so bladdered, i said yes, this is the last time though cos I knew he wouldn't 'manage' it IYKWIM! ha ha. His chance has gone.

CD10 here and no ov pains to speak of but dull headache all day. DTD last night and will hopefully get another in before the weekend. I'm ashamed to say on this fred that I POA OPK S earlier to see if I am ripe and it was a fucking dud stick. Was a right mission smuggling it into the ladies at work with a cup from the watercooler too! grrrr. I'm on cycle 4 so just want to see if I'm laying eggs really.

Horse - think you need to get the big guns out - have you put down some poison? When the pest man came to my mum's house he said that they usually live in groups so you hardly ever get one on their own (sorry to tell you that) so you have to go for poision in several locations often disguised with something they would be used to eating. My mum lives in a city so the guy put down curry paste in some rooms and peanut butter in others, so at least they had a choice!

Horse - you could do 'Come Dine with Me - Mouse Edition' and what would be on the menu at Horse's house, pray tell? Answer: Poision and death.

horse We had mice in our old house. Vile horrible creatures. I used traps with peanut butter on them. As pb is sticky, they couldn't take it like cheese and not get caught. That caught a few but we still had them. In the end, we opted for poison. That got them.
