Having recommended this fab little gadget for everyone ttc I wonder whether everyone who has now got one wants to join a thread and keep each other posted on our fern days etc?!

About me: Am ttc db2 but still bfeeding dd (9mths) about once a day. No af since giving birth so no idea if ovulating etc but have just started using my isis scope :o

Oh Buffy, I so hope you get your bfp!

I have some ferns again this morning but not getting any hopes up as it never seems to lead anywhere, they just disappear before they ever really get going. Also not too much cm, although (sorry, way tmiBlush) I do seem to be "secreting" a lot more all the time these days, which I'm sure must be good sign (unless I have a nasty infection!Grin)

Hi all. Have been having very weird cycle as first one after stopping bf. Am on cd24 but only just had consistent ferning and only weak ones really. Very irritating, Have been bding just in case! Hope other people having more luck!! x

Hello all... hope you are well. Sorry not been around for a while. I was licking and spitting for Britain, but no ferns came Sad. But now AF is a day late. I have only had 3 periods since DD was born so may be a hold up, but do I dare allow myself a little test? I don't feel premenstrual (don't really feel anything odd - don't feel pg) so am just hovering and wondering what to do for the best.

Any ideas?

hi guys,well,am now 2 weeks late and still no af.have done 4 preg tests,and all negative.havent a clue what is wrong with my body.going to go to gp next week if still no af.anyone else got any good news?

I gave up licking this cycle as was scared I wouldn't get ferns but have decided next cycle am going to take temps and lick, and see what happens. Have just been bd'ing anyway!!

still no af for me.am worrying myself stupid now and i know that thats probably delaying af.got friend who is midwife and she said its probably because of mc last month.dont feel like im going to start af,just feel normal.not doing anymore tests,as there isnt any point.i cant even bring myself to ring for an appointment with gp as im so scared that she'll say i'll never have anymore babies!(stupid i know but i cant help what im thinking!)dh just tells me not to worry and 'you never know you might already be pg' but i know that im not.i think hes hoping that i'll get pg whilst waiting for af IYKWIM.i just want to hurry up and get af then start licking and temping next cycle.what makes it worse is that everyone around me is pg or just had babies!i feel soooo useless.sorry for being so down but its really getting to me now!im 2 weeks and 3 days late for af.arrrrrggggggghhhh!!!!will go and eat some chocolate!!!

Hi Buffy, so sorry about bfnSad. I know how frustrating it is waiting for af that it seems will never show, but everyone is right- your cycle is probably messed up from mc, but you could also get pg waiting! Keep licking and temping as I'm sure its possible you could ov before af shows up. I know I keep getting small ferns that come and go as my hormones are all over the place but its sort of good to watch them and see whats going on ifyswim! You definately will be able to get pg again its just this ttc lark puts horrible thoughts in your head, I have them myself! Its just the not knowing and waiting thats hard, but it will happen. Enjoy your chocolate and try to keep positiveSmile

hiyah again!well,still no af.decided to not keep thinking about it (if thats going to be possible!)rubymummy,im still bf aswell.dd has been going on alot more the past few weeks,so maybe thast messing up my hormones aswell.i dont know,need to stop obsessing about getting pg.dd was asleep yesterday and i just sat watching her and got myself in such a state!its stupid because i should be so grateful for my children,i mean some of my friends have tried for years for a baby with no luck,and heres me with my mob,and still wanting more!whats wrong with me???you'd think that after 5 kids,id have had enough,but my need for another baby is so overwhelming.im putting it down to the fact that dd was twins but one died,so in my head i feel as if i should have 6 kids.i feel ashamed for wanting more iykwim!like im being baby greedy!god my head is so messed up.sorry for being so negative everyone.i just feel so down and alone.and its all down to no bfp and no af!definately coming back as a man next time,they have it far too easy!going to go and order holiday clothes to cheer myself up!(until i get the credit card statement next month!!!)

Know exactly how you feel Buffy. Its amazing how obsessed you can become. I got really excited yesterday as I had the most ferns I've ever had, but still don't think it was quite full ferning, then this morning there's less again so looks like still no ov. Also dd had cut down so much on bf I reckon I could stop totally, but this makes me feel sad even though she doesn't seem bothered. Life is definately tough as a woman!

I think they were a bit stringyer(?) if that makes sense, and not tightly packed at all. How long should full ferning last? and if that was it will it be too late by tonight if I can convince dhGrin

hi allSmile Sorry for interupting, just first time ive noticed anyone around on this board while ive been on-line. Sorry for everyone having probs this month, im in the same boat....
Just wondered if anyone could answer this question...i had the egg sign meaning ovulation on my persona this morning, but spitting /licking like crazy and not one single fern on my isiscope!!!!!!! feel rather fed up with it all, either my persona is wrong or my spit just aint fertile - or im just going round the bend or something. Anyone any words of wisdom??? anyone had a definate ovulation and not had ferny patterns? do the ferns just come at ovulation or can anything else cause them? im so confused.

Would love to know that too PCM- though in my case just to hope I'm ovulating when I'm probably not! As they say its 98% accurate I assume for 2% of people it may not work? I'd go by your egg sign anyway and just take evry opportunity! How on earth did women a few generations ago end up with so many kids? They must have been having an awful lot of sexGrin

you're so god damn right bobs!! interviewed a woman at work today who had SEVEN children!!! Thats right, count em on both hands, 7!!! Lucky lady indeed, bet she never had to study her saliva did she! Envy A girl on another thread im on said she did some research and apparantly ovulation microscopes not always that certain......am going to do some research of my own. I'll post anything interesting i come up with. x x

it says on the isis thing that you can use excm to look at ferns aswell.dont really fancy doig it that way though!

Sorry buffy - didn't realise you were bf too. I am now on cd32! Never had cycle longer than 28 days before i had dd. No af and bfn.
Am starting to distrust scope a bit as wel. ferns all over the shop. No ewcm this month either. What is going on with my body??! Did you find out about yours buffy? x

Do you find you get days of transitional Rubymummy, then nothing the ferns again a few days later? Thats what keeps happening to me and I assume its my body gearing up for ov but never quite getting there. That or my scope is a piece of s$*t! Still no signs of af for me though despite having practically given up bf (dd would be quite happy without, but I am having trouble letting go so keep shoving my nipple in her mouth after she's had her formulaGrin)

hiyah,i still havent been to the doctors!and still noaf.was due on on 7th april.so im 3 weeks and 2 days late!my body is totally messed up!i just cant bring myself to go to the doctors.so scared about what she'll say.dh still keeps saying that he thinks i'll get pg whilst waiting for af!just sent him out for chocolate so that might be a sign of af about to arrive!just want to get af so that i know everythings ok!have given up with my scope!licked the other day and just had blobs.if i ever get af then i'll start licking and temping again after it.dd still boobie obsessed!thats another thing,this past week my nipples have been soooooooooo sore!so bf is very painful and poor dd gets upset because i jump when she latches on!!am seriously wishing i was a man!!!Grin

i tested again week before last,and did 4 tests!all negative.im just trying to blank it out.have decided that if still no af next week then i will def go see gp because then i'll have missed 2 af's.have you had any luck yet?are you still licking?!

Still licking and the ferns come and go every few days! My body is still obviously totally messed up... Did test this morning as I'm going on holiday this week, with long plane journey and hopefully drinking at the end of it!!!! Was of course bfn and I was of course disappointed though not surprised. Do keep getting all these symptoms, like feeling queasy, spots, cramps like af is coming and lots of dischargeBlush so either my hormones are trying to sort themselves out or there is something wrong with meGrin. Maybe you should test again before seeing gp just to be sure...

hi bobblehead.ive stopped getting that crampy feeling.also getting more yukky discharge Blush but its more like ewcm.am just far too scared to test again!daft eh?!i want to be pg so much and know that if its bfn again i'll be really upset,but i also know that if its bfp then i'll just e more scared incase i mc again!not only is my body messed up,i think my head is aswell!Grinkeep thinking that im coming on and expect to find arrival of af when i go to the loo,but everytime theres nothing.told dh this morning that i will test this week because af wouldve been due again his friday.(said this yesterday i think!)im not going to look at it,i'll pee and pass it to him!where are you going on holiday?at least you might be able to take your mind off everything for abit!if i dont see you around before you go,have a lovely time,and you never know,you might get pg whilst away!!(hope your going somewhere exotic,then you can call baby after where you concieved!very showbizzy!!)xx
