Right I'm going to be bold and start a new thread to drum up some energy for anyone ttc a Jan / Feb / Spring 2013 baby.

Does anyone want to join me on this flight?

Evening all,

Empire nice to see you. The reindeer haven't done much since your BFP so go easy on the carrots! Promise them more when we get more bfps. Hope you're feeling ok?

Wiggy Liz Earle is fab stuff. I am lucky with my skin but swear by it nonetheless.

blackcats yes I bought some pecan pralines - my favourite! and I have troughed 4 of them already

Pipbin great, when is the appt? That old story happened to one of my best friends. She was about to go for the hospital appt in Nov2010, found she was pg and baby born last July. Hope the same happens for you.

lastbox sorry about the spotting. So frustrating. When is your AF actually due (sorry I have lost track)

I think I must have ov'ed yesterday or the day before because I had a clear temp rise today, cd15. Therefore AF is due around 5 - 7 June.

What are you all up to on the jubilee weekend?

Hi Everyone, feeling very flat here as more brown cm and some dark browny red bleeding last night and now. While feel sick and exhausted almost certainly going to miscarry. Still too early for a scan as 5+5 today. Will go to doctors tomorrow I guess. The whole thing is lousy...

EmpireBiscuit · 24/05/2012 06:52

:(

So sorry, we are all here for you.

lastboxoftampons · 24/05/2012 07:44

Spring, I'm so very sorry :( hoping for the best outcome and that you're being well taken care of.

Dillydollydaydream · 24/05/2012 07:54

:( oh no Spring. Sorry to hear about the bleeding, it's not fair.

blackcatsdancing · 24/05/2012 08:06

pipbin it could be! i've read of that happening so why not to to you? Fingers crossed.

spring i'm so very sorry, how awful for you :(

Crazytictac · 24/05/2012 08:25

Oh spring how worrying. Thinking of you.

LimeLeafLizard · 24/05/2012 09:27

Spring Sad. Go to the doctors today and ask for an early scan. I had an internal scan at 5+5 with DS3 following similar bleeding to yours and it was a real relief. They found the area I had been bleeding from but DS was fine. Even if it is not good news at least you will know.

I am out for the day but will be thinking of you x

Oh my love. Thinking of you xxxx

Pipbin · 24/05/2012 12:58

Oh Spring thinking of you!

10dpo and still no spotting.

SpringFlowers · 24/05/2012 13:06

Thanks everyone. Scan organised for next Thursday (ages away) when I'll be 6+4. The red bleeding stopped and was only last night. I thought that was just the start but I guess not yet at least. So on the loo paper when I wiped but not much else. Odd bits of brown cm still today but nothing heavier and no pain. I don't feel optimistic at all but I am aware for some people this works out to be ok. Sorry to put a damper on the thread. Hope everyone else is doing well x

Flightty · 24/05/2012 14:01

Yes Thursday must feel like an eternity. You poor old soldier.

For what it's worth - and I realise it's not much - my good friend had bleeding all through her first trimester, lots of scans, nothing was actually wrong - I think it was just a haematoma on the cervix or something like that.

I really hope you get to keep this one xx

Crazytictac · 24/05/2012 14:25

That's horrible having to wait so long spring. You poor thing. If the bleeding has stopped though, that must be a good sign. Let's hope it stays that way

Flyingwithoutwings · 24/05/2012 16:02

Thinking of you spring I had bleeding early on with DS, I rang GP in a panic and he said "nothing you can do of its mc but I will scan you next week", so I had a similar wait... All was fine at the scan and the bleeding soon stopped. It was horrid, and being so early on, I couldn't tell anyone except DH Sad

Treats · 24/05/2012 16:28

Spring - I had a small amount of bleeding at 6 weeks with DD. I managed to get an early scan and all was found to be well. Scared the pants off me at the time, but it was absolutely fine - nothing at all to worry about. FX that it's the same for you. Awful having to wait that long, but if you haven't had any more bleeding, then that's really encouraging. Thinking of you. Thanks

Pipbin - that was me! I had my initial appointment at the fertility clinic in December 08. We only saw the nurse on that occasion because we hadn't had any of the initial tests that are normally done. We were sent off for the tests (including a blood test on Christmas Eve and a HyCoSy in early Jan) and then I got my BFP on Jan 28th! Never even saw the consultant.......

lbot - sorry that AF seems to be on her way. Don't feel bad about getting your hopes up. I've decided to wallow in that feeling because it makes me feel happy to dream about having a baby soon. I'm going to feel like shit soon enough when AF arrives, so why not enjoy the optimism while I can?

Hi to everyone else. Nothing to report here - CD4. Temps seem slightly higher than last cycle, which is good.

blackcatsdancing · 24/05/2012 19:52

spring we're here to support each other through the good news, fun and the tough times. Don't worry about putting dampner on things, its helpful to vent, have somewhere to put your thoughts down and get some support. I think its awful you have to wait so long for a scan. I too know someone who bled throughout her second pregnancy- her first was fine. She had a full term healthy baby and no reason was ever found for her bleeds. FX the same is true for you - that it all works out well, not the anguish of more bleeds !

Pipbin · 24/05/2012 20:32

I'm getting loads of creamy cm. So much so I keep thinking it must be AF and I'm running to the loo to check.
Anyone know if this is a symptom?

I'm due on Saturday and, unless she shows, I'm going to test Saturday as I'm going out and want to know if I can drink.

LimeLeafLizard · 24/05/2012 20:46

Pipbin I think we all agreed that lotiony CM is a symptom, but like all the symptoms, it can be misleading. Saturday sounds like a good day to test.

Spring Glad to hear you are booked for a scan even though it is a week away. It will be a long week I'm sure. Hope you are ok. xxx

Crazy has your AF shown up yet?

Treats my temps have also been higher than usual for this time in my cycle. I wonder if the weather makes a difference?

IT has been so HOT! I managed to get a little bit sunburnt today - my own stupid fault as I didn't even think of suncream. Luckily I do tan so hopefully it will look a bit better tomorrow.

OP posts:
Crazytictac · 24/05/2012 21:38

Hey lime, no nothing. I just don't know what on earth is going on. I have had a cycle like this a few months back but this time my fertility monitor def gave me a peak reading. The only thing I can think of is that because I was ill that ovulation might have been delayed even with the LH surge being triggered. Not sure if that's even biologically possible but Confused

Hope the sunburn wasn't too bad! A tan does look good though....might help disguise the look of morning sickness in a few weeks hopefully eh. This weather has come out of no where. I've even had to shave my legs and everything.

Hope all you other ladies are well. And spring here are some Thanks

Hope babba is ok too if you are reading this.

SilentMammoth · 24/05/2012 23:27

Oh Spring Sad

Yes, baba, hope you are well.

LimeLeafLizard · 24/05/2012 23:43

That's right... baba, hope you are well. Your seat is still here if you want to take it.

Crazy how strange and frustrating. How many dpo are you on then? Wonder what could cause this. Do you temp? Sorry I have forgotten.

Yes, a gentle tan would be lovely! Grin at having to shave your legs - me too!

OP posts:
Crazytictac · 25/05/2012 06:31

AF has showed up this morning 18 days DPO! I don't temp however from what I've gathered on here you can have a good indication if you're pg by whether your temp stays high after ovulation? See, this appeals to me very much but I often dont sleep through so not sure if I'd be a good candidate for it.

Crazytictac · 25/05/2012 06:41

Nearly had heart failure as DS clambering all over me and nearly posted this to my facebook page. Noooooo! Wish there wasn't a recommend button on this page! Makes me nervous.

Anyway, was just in the middle of asking what you ladies were doing this weekend....!

SilentMammoth · 25/05/2012 06:47

LOL at that Crazy! Oooh the embarassment!

Pipbin with my first two pregnancies that was my first sign both times; thinking AF had arrived and realising it was lotiony CM. I'd say that is a really good sign Smile.

My temps have been higher too. Also a bit weird; normally they slowly climb after ov, peak on about CD11 then plunge. Post ov they have been consistently 36.61. Confused

SilentMammoth · 25/05/2012 06:48

Sorry, Spring, how are you today? Thinking of you and your DH.
