Right I'm going to be bold and start a new thread to drum up some energy for anyone ttc a Jan / Feb / Spring 2013 baby.

Does anyone want to join me on this flight?

babaloulou · 09/05/2012 11:57

Congratulations spring wonderful news.

I'm sat by the waiting for the doctor to call. Quite nervous about making it all real by confirming it!

Crazytictac · 09/05/2012 12:12

Aww congratulations springflowers fabulous news!! :o

Good luck tomorrow squirrel

Flyingwithoutwings · 09/05/2012 13:23

treats & silent I'm still hiding and she hasn't found me yet Smile
But I must be cautious as she's teased me before with a late arrival.. Sad
If I get to Friday evening (when I should be home) I shall poas Grin
Can't buy one here as there's barely any shops in the area an my line manager is on the course with me Hmm

Blackcats it's funny how someone's "subject heaven" is someone else's hell. But that's what we need: plenty of diversity Wink

Treats · 09/05/2012 13:43

Gaah! Loads of EWCM when I went to the loo just now (tmi? Hmm) and a distinct pain in my right side. Could be that I'm ov'ing right this very second - that would still be within the time frame of my positive OPK on Monday evening. Must DTD with DH tonight to be sure.

blackcats - I'm sure I heard the GP say (although i didn't quiz him about this) that my Day 3s indicated that my thyroid was normal. I had been wondering about it - i read in TCOYF that low temps can be a thyroid thing. I'll ask him again when i go back.

lastboxoftampons · 09/05/2012 14:00

Hi everyone

Congrats Spring! Wonderful news! Grin

Treats, I think you're right - when I had Day 3s one, there was a thyroid result. Mine was also fine and I also have low temps as well. If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take you to conceive DS? I would DTD tonight if you can! Good luck! Smile

Flying back to London tonight and it's pouring rain Sad I hate to fly and I've already felt sick all day yesterday and this morning. Just need to focus on the destination and not think about the flight. That works better when we're on our way here and less when I don't want to leave. Still, will be happy to get back to routine with DS, sleep in our own beds and even start my new job on Monday.

Blackcats - glad to hear your numbers were all within normal range. I know it's hard, but try not to obsess beyond that. Those numbers are considered within the normal range for a reason, even if they are on the high side. If they weren't ok, they'd be outside of the range. Hugs for you!

blackcatsdancing · 09/05/2012 15:12

thanks lastbox. everywhere has said below 10 is normal. I need to keep that in my head. The labs all have different ranges mine said 3.5-13 was normal. When i looked it up in a Zita west book and quoted the 8-10 thing that was referring to how people were likely to respond to IVF treatment, irrelevant to me.
If i don't get preggers this month (and DP would have had to have shot some really fast swimmers for that to happen) then i'll be able to have a couple of acupuncture treatments with them knowing whats what. I'm lucky really, my issue is probably just egg quality due to age. Not much that i can do about that apart from take the supplements and be healthy. I'm always very thankful that I have a wonderful healthy child already :) Hope your flight back isn't too awful .

Wiggy29 · 09/05/2012 15:22

Oh spring! Just had to say huge congrat's! This is now officially a super lucky thread, clearly the reindeer is more productive when he doesn't have stress of crimbo to worry about!

LimeLeafLizard · 09/05/2012 16:21

Congratulations Spring, hope all goes well for you. When will your due date be?

Not so good here - AF arrived this morning. I'm feeling pretty fed up actually (weather doesn't help). I had a good feeling about this month and it is just more disappointing than it reasonably should be. I've been on the edge of bursting into tears all day, but am trying to count my blessings instead.

Flightty · 09/05/2012 16:51

Yo Spring!!!! Thanks Grin that is EXCELLENT! I had a feeling about you this month!!!

Wonderful stuff. Keep them coming, girls.

blackcatsdancing · 09/05/2012 17:00

ah limeleaf sorry you're down, it makes us all down though when AF arrives so i totally understand. If you conceive this cycle there's a good chance it will be a valentine's day baby/ or even born on my birthday ( a few days after) so maybe you will be lucky this cycle.

Flightty · 09/05/2012 17:16

Lime, I am so sorry pet, I just realised I had crossed posts with you - I sometimes open a tab and leave it ages before replying/reading, and find someone's posted in the meantime. I am stupid Sad

So sorry about AF. Commiserations and chocolate heading your way xxxx

Flyingwithoutwings · 09/05/2012 17:21

Lime big hugs Sad
AF is such a bitch Angry

Squirrel77 · 09/05/2012 17:47

Sorry to hear about AF Lime - take care

Wiggy29 · 09/05/2012 18:13

Sorry lime, I imagine it's incredibly frustrating & disappointing when you'd had such good vibes this month.x

Flyingwithoutwings · 09/05/2012 18:46

AF still isn't here... I'm actually thinking "bloody hell, I might be pregnant" Blush

Daft I know but she's 2 days late going by usual cycle and about 0.5 days late if you go by her occasional "surprise! You thought you were pregnant but I got ya!!"

Blimey... I'm actually feeling quite worried!Confused

LimeLeafLizard · 09/05/2012 18:48

Thanks all, I needed a day to feel sorry for myself, and it is good to have your support on here (phoned DH at work but he couldn't talk as in a meeting).

I know moping doesn't help so I have pulled myself together enough to re-do my stats:
Limeleaflizard, 36, TTC #4, Cycle 6, AF due 6 June

and to re-calculate that if I conceive this cycle my new due date would be 12 Feb 2013, so very close to valentine's day (and more importantly, Blackcats birthday! Wink).

Anyhow, it has been a good thread so far, with some great BFPs, and Squirrel and flying testing soon, and hopefully those of us not up-duffed will stay on through the next cycle and get BFPs next time round.

OP posts:
LimeLeafLizard · 09/05/2012 18:50

Have you been swimming yet?! Maybe that will calm you down a bit?!

Is there no way you can get a test? I need some POAS action to distract me from the old cow staying here. Grin

OP posts:
Flyingwithoutwings · 09/05/2012 18:58

Went to the pool when we got in and it's full of kids having swimming lessons... Wouldn't bother me too much but I wonder if the sight of my cs overhang in a bright red swimming costume would scar them for life!
Lessons ended at 6 but I chose to have a bath and relax Hmm
Off to a nearby restaurant for a curry soon Grin

This is reminiscent of DS: AF was due the Tues, was away pissing up with my line manager at 2 rather large military bases... By the time I came back in the Friday I realised AF hadn't come... Tested on the Sat morning and got a BFP!!

Gosh... I need to get pissed for this to be true Wink

Crazytictac · 09/05/2012 19:27

Oh that's rubbish with a capital R limeleaf. Sorry that she's made an appearance. Gets disheartening. I guess you're on day 1 of your shiny new cycle now and how lush would a valentine's baby be....

flyingwithout this is sounding mightily promising....

SilentMammoth · 09/05/2012 19:45

Oh LLL I am sorry Sad Really rubbish. Like crazy said, how 'lovely a valentine's baby would be???

Ladies, what are we doing thread-wise after Flying has finallypoas tomorrow? (no pressure flying, but we're waiting on you Wink Are we retiring the reindeer and adopting a cupid-like thread or just staying on this one? Mind you, I do quite like the idea of thoroughly unseasonable reindeer!

EmpireBiscuit · 09/05/2012 19:55

please don't all leave me...I don't know how to fly this stupid thing.

Congratulations spring exciting!!

LLL :( sorry to see she got you. Yay to being one day pregnant again though.

I spent hours on the phone to mum last night, feeling slightly better. Just want old witchy to show so I can concentrate on next month now. Also thinking a trip to the docs to chat through my anxiety etc is probably in order.

blackcatsdancing · 09/05/2012 20:22

i don't mind jumping onto a new thread. empire where are you in your cycle? I'm 3DPO so you won't be left alone...

SpringFlowers · 09/05/2012 20:24

Shall we keep the thread going and just have all of regardless of the stage we are at? There will be some ttcers, some preggers and some babies. I think you're all lovely and it would be a shame to end it all. We can have a new list with categories for ttc and being pregnant already. I'll start if you like:

SpringFlowers (39) Baby #4 3+4 EDD 18.01.13

Are you all happy to add you details?

EmpireBiscuit · 09/05/2012 20:31

Yes! Let's all stay together - you bunch are far and away the nicest people I have came across on here.

EmpireBiscuit (26) TTC#1 AF due 13.01

Pipbin · 09/05/2012 20:35

Congratulations Spring

Well I forgot to temp this morning! However I also do OPKs and they don't seem to show OVing. Plenty of EWCM still, and a week early!
