Right I'm going to be bold and start a new thread to drum up some energy for anyone ttc a Jan / Feb / Spring 2013 baby.

Does anyone want to join me on this flight?

blackcatsdancing · 09/05/2012 20:39

oh you are both so sweet saying such lovely things. we are a lovely bunch though aren't we?? I'm easy with whatever , be nice for those who are upduffed though to keep in touch even if you do also join a 'due date' thread . anyway far too much online time today. long day at work tomorrow so guess there will be plenty to catch up Friday.

Crazytictac · 09/05/2012 21:15

Aww you guys

There are some lovely ladies on this thread, I'm happy to stay too.

:)

LimeLeafLizard · 09/05/2012 21:16

OK, I've been holding back the tears all day, but when I logged on here and saw Spring's new pregnant stats and realised we're going to stay on the sleigh, out they came! [big softie] Hope you will all stick around as it is so nice to hang out with people you know.

Don't worry, we won't leave you in sole charge of the reins, Empire, you are doing brilliantly on carrot & hay distribution, anyway.

Just keep SWI, Pipbin. I am quite determined these reindeer will deliver the goods for you.

Right, I am off to console myself with a large Wine and eat chocolate whilst I watch the Apprentice.

Wiggy (30) ttc #2 cycle 2, no idea of ov but af due 12/05

Wiggy29 · 09/05/2012 21:21

Lime- how long did it take you when ttc your first 3? I've just realised my 3 month smear is nearly due& if pre-cancerous cells are any worse I hav to stop ttc while I have treatment.I'm really REALLY hoping the reindeer can help me out!

LimeLeafLizard · 09/05/2012 21:29

DC1 was cycle 1 - I was 28 and lucky
DC2 was cycle 13 - I was 32 and very stressed at work
DC3 was, erm, a moment of passion had run out of condoms and cba to run downstairs and check cycle day - I was 34.

I am extremely lucky in never having had a MC - over the years I've come to know the pg history of many friends and the majority have lost pregnancies at some point Sad.

Fertility is a capricious beast, and sometimes horribly unfair. On the whole I know I have been lucky, which is why I don't feel like I have a right to moan about being on cycle 6 ttc #4.

Gosh Wiggy that sounds worrying, hope your smear goes well. When is it due? Hug to you.

I wouldn't mind being younger if you can manage it Lime.

SpringFlowers · 10/05/2012 05:51

I'm really pleased we're all staying together. Now, I've got the most hideous headache this morning. I often get them before my period so it's worrying me a bit, anyone else had early pregnancy headaches in the past?

Flightty · 10/05/2012 06:36

Hiya Spring, sorry to hear that - I would try not to worry too much, I had a bit of a headache last week, I never get them normally...I think it was tension and also a bit of dehydration.
maybe it is progesterone causing them for you, in which case it's higher when you're pg, isn't it? That might explain it.

Lime I am sorry you have been feeling so tearful, it makes me want to swap places with you. Hope you enjoyed your evening though, and I agree, I'd quite like to be having a February baby as the weather is so much more forgiving and I've never done it in the winter before...it worries me a bit!

Wiggy I hope that things go alright with your next smear and you can carry on with TTC xx

I'm losing weight already despite not feeling that sick, really - just on and off - I think it's the anxiety, the more pressure to eat, the harder it is! And I already have a little, teeny tiny bump Shock
Seeing the Dr today I hope, to book in and get referred to MW and so on. And get more drugs just in case Smile

Ok the stats.

Hi spring i always get a migraine near conception. I don't get migraines any other time. No pregnancy symptoms here though.

Glad we're staying together. I never really left and felt a little homeless.
I'll add my stats to the list when I'm on the computer later. Although my edd is 8th Jan i think i will be ask to be induced at 38 as don't think mentally I'll get to 40 after losing our son at 35 weeks.

Flightty · 10/05/2012 07:00

Baba I am glad you came back!! Smile

SilentMammoth · 10/05/2012 07:07

Another one glad we are sticking together! baba good to see you! Spring are you feeling better? Flting have you p on that s yet??? We're all on tenterhooks!!!

Flighty/ lime- thanks for the good wishes.I'm due my next smear in next few weeks so just waiting for letter (will ring Hosp if it doesn't arrive).

Pretty sad as body feels as though it is preparing itself for af, exactly the same as before af last cycle when not on pill (lots of cm, tierd& increased appetite). I know I could argue they are signs of preg but whereas I was feeling really positive earlier this month I'm now reasonably resigned to fact it's probs not. Just have a gut feeling that tells me it won't be that straight forward for us.

Lime- I know you say count your blessings, when I was first told I might not be able to ttc everyone said 'at least you have one' but that doesn't stop you breaking your heart because you want it so much. My boss at wk just said she's expecting& though I'm really pleased for her I really want it for us too& so feel really envious. Between friend's, family&work just feel very aware of all those who are preg. Just really hoping it happens for us all.x

Wiggy29 · 10/05/2012 07:18

Flying- fingers crossed for you! Af is quite late so looks like a great sign.I had no symptoms (other than period like cramp) with ds. Phone about to die but I'll be deco checking in later to see how you've got on hunting down a test.x

Flyingwithoutwings · 10/05/2012 07:28

I think I will be fairly sure of being pg if I can get through to tomorrow. Even a surprise late AF wouldn't be 5 days late (unless I'm going through early menopause).

Wonder if I shouldn't hunt a test down: there's one at home and DH ought to be there... BUT I could do a secret one and tell you guys Wink

Treats · 10/05/2012 08:32

Wiggy - good luck with that smear. Sad that you've got that whole other worry.

When we were ttc the first time round, I literally couldn't understand people who got so worked up about not being able to conceive a second or subsequent child - you've already got one, what's the big deal? But - like you - I feel the ache right through me now. Obviously, I'm a bit of a special case, but I'm sure I would still feel like this if I hadn't lost DS. Also, first time round, I wasn't that fussed when I passed pregnant women in the street, but now it's like a punch to the stomach every time I see one.

But I'm determined not to let the whole situation we've been through these last few months spoil my precious time with DD while she's still young. Seeing my friends at the weekend, whose children I last saw a year ago, reminds me how quickly they grow up. I don't want to look back in ten years and regret that I wasted the time I had with my only child (if that's what she turns out to be) fretting that I couldn't have another.

Sending hugs, Wiggy - there will be better days.......

Go Flying, Go Flying This is looking very encouraging. Standing by for the poas results (in manner of David Dimbleby on election night)

Don't know what's going on here. Temp up slightly this morning (97.1) - a normal pre-ov temp, but higher than my last six, so FF is probably going to show me as having ov'd tomorrow (if tomorrow's temp is still up). But I definitely got more EWCM this morning, and 97.1 is hardly a high temp, is it?

Squirrel77 · 10/05/2012 08:43

Hi ladies

Good luck with your smear Wiggy - I have to have them yearly having had precancerous cells removed a few years ago - seems I'm always at the GP's with my legs in the air. Hope everything is ok.

A BFN for me this morning. AF was due today, which is 13 DPO - but this is my first month taking Vitamin B6 trying to lengthen the second half of cycle so maybe that's why?

For some reason I still think there's a chance though...am I being overly optimistic???? Confused

babaloulou · 10/05/2012 12:44

Oh no just had pink tinged mucus! So hope this isn't the start of the end Sad

Pipbin · 10/05/2012 13:03

Loads of EWCM this morning.
However DH is still poorly and not able to DTD. The saving grace is that I've not had a positive opk yet.
