Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Wow dor that was speedy! We look round ours Wednesday and again Saturday afternoon and had an offer accepted Sunday afternoon! We thought that was speedy but properties in our village go really quickly.
I am very impatient too. I said to MSB last night I think that's why ttc has been so difficult. I'm incredibly impatient, my favourite prayer is God give me patience and hurry up about it!
We have arrived at our holiday cottage, was a bit nervous about coming because it's a different cottage but it's luffly. Really spacious and outside space for DNephew to play in. Might even have a cheeky gin for the first time in 8 weeks!

FriendofDorothy · 05/05/2012 17:27

We seriously have to be quick over here. Properties go within hours!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 05/05/2012 17:38

I assume that's because there's limited properties come up for sale and even less at ahem affordable prices?

FriendofDorothy · 05/05/2012 17:40

Yep. It's super competitive.

I am desperately trying not to get too excited. and I need to stop planning to kitchen and trying to decide if I want a woodburning stove or an open fire.

Yeah I know bugs. House prices are mental over here :(

sinkingflameofhilarity · 05/05/2012 21:15

I like Gertrude. Henrietta the hen? We could all have a chicken as a baybee substitute... On second thoughts, praps not.

Northey · 06/05/2012 11:54

Morning all.

Either Clomid has made my boobs bigger or I am actually delusional diffed and that period was actually an implantation thing. Don't all rush at once to tell me which is more likely.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/05/2012 12:06

Well you're clearly diffed have you googled clomid big boobs?

Hola folks.

Proper bored now. GHJ is working this weekend and while I've occupied myself up to now, I'm bored! That feels a little pathetic Sad

Sooooo... norf, obviously diffed-ness.

What's the chat elsewhere, or is everyone away for the bank holidays?

There's not an emoticon for friendless loser, but I'd be using it right now if there was...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/05/2012 19:22

Ah sorry to hear you're bored sinkers. I hate it when MSB is away!
I've had a luffly day. Walked into Bowness and got a boat across Windermere. Did a three mile walk to a nice pub and got a steam train back. DNephew really enjoyed it though he's shattered now and off to bed. To be fair, the walk (usually an easy warm up for bigger ones later) has totally worn me out! All that fresh air and exercise. I have no stamina since being ill. MSB is a bit upset about the footie (Man U fan) but I am relieved my precious Villa won't be relegated! :) quiet night in for us, just waiting for dinner to cook!
What's everyone else been up to? norf I assume you've been prodding your buzzwams all day?!

FriendofDorothy · 06/05/2012 21:42

Shhhhhh?

Where is everybody?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/05/2012 21:46

I'm watching Happy Popper again with my family and pottering on MN. You alright dor?

FriendofDorothy · 06/05/2012 21:51

I am fine. Bored though.

FriendofDorothy · 07/05/2012 07:55

Morning BESHes. I am up bright and early to take part in a 20km walk with my Mum, sistr and aunt. Should be fun.

I slept terribly though. Thinking about this house - I really need to know the decision on whether we have it or not!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/05/2012 08:35

Good luck with your walk dor! I hope it's fun :)
I'm still in bed, can't get moving. After that relatively short walk I'm really sore. I think I need new walking boots! Mind are over 10 years old and quite stiff, leave my calves aching. Think MSB and I might treat ourselves! Rock n roll eh?!

Northey · 07/05/2012 11:39

Morning all. Am on the coast with the crappest signal evah! Gorgeous sunny weather yesterday, and we had a fabulous loving snuggly giggly time, and I was quite looking forward to the evening's sechs, until we blew it all with a pointless and agonising and miserable argument, which ended in tears and woe and then reconciliation an a takeaway curry at 10.30pm. At which point we were too exhausted and bloated to do anything remotely resembling sex. Very blustery weather today though, so cobwebs thoroughly blown away :)

faif I am so impressed with your activity after all your illness. Hopefully it will all help with the convalescence, but be careful to get lots of rest as well.

And yours, dor. Especially in your condition.

Are you still bored and friendless today, hils?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 07/05/2012 12:03

Hiya.

Hope dors walk is going well- I'm slightly in awe, given I'm sat on the sofa nursing my third cup of tea...

GHJ is off today, but after getting home at 1am (after an 8pm "finish"- hollow laugh) he's only good for lounging today!

Coast sounds lovely norf. Steaming arguement less so. Surely morning sechs an option?

faife, go on, treat yourself. I've spending lots atm on running and cycling stuff. I've started cycling to work, and it works out at me cycling 60miles + each week- I think that's quite impressive and so deserve nice things. I think your walking fits the bill as well.

I have got a bit of a sore bum though. I have no intention of buying padded shorts though. Grim.

blonderthanred · 07/05/2012 12:09

Crikey dor. No idea how you're managing that. I've been asleep for the last 12 weeks.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/05/2012 14:41

Today we got an open top bus to the next village. DNephew was super excited all the way, even saying 'Hello sheep, we're on a bus!' Don't worry norf, very lazy day today. Spending the afternoon on the pub - a pub which sells bats of beer, three third pints in a bat with holes in! The fellas are in their element, DNephew is asleep on a bench! Not an unpleasant way to spend a wet bank holiday!
hils I'm glad you have company today, even if he isn't good for much! The cycling sounds very virtuous. I'm contemplating cycling to work myself in the future. Just contemplating mind!
Have you finished yet dor?!

FriendofDorothy · 07/05/2012 15:37

We finished a little while ago. Took us about 5 hours plus lots of wee stops and a stop for lunch. It was absolutely fine until we got to about 15km. My hips then started hurting unbelievably, my aunt seems to think that it might be the increasing amount of oestrogen due to the pregnancy.

I am sat at home on the sofa and I am not sure I can walk! Ouch!

CaveMum · 08/05/2012 07:45

Hello all, apologies for the absence [hands over a note from my mum]

Impressive waking Dor! How are you feeling today?

We've had a busy weekend and, if I'm honest, I've been having a bit of a wobble this weekend. Lots of tears again yesterday. It was mostly triggered by HWHNN's announcement that he may have to go to Afghanistan for 6 months in January. It's by no means certain at the moment, but it does mean that we have to make a decision about carrying on TTC and risking him being overseas for the birth, or stop trying for a few months and try to time it so that he'll be back in time. Really don't know what to do at the moment Sad

CaveMum · 08/05/2012 07:49

I should explain that he can say no to the posting for now, but that will only out it off for a year or so, and what if we're still in the same position then as we are now? He won't be able to postpone again.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 08/05/2012 07:52

Oh Cavey, what a tough decision :(
