Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

My laptop is within arms reach. I just need to give myself a mental slap in the chops and start work.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 08:29

Ah, start browsing missy!

blonderthanred · 02/05/2012 08:40

Keeping everything crossed for you Faithy. not to add to your menkul but my first BFP was the faintest of faint lines that appeared after longer than it said on the packet

Northey · 02/05/2012 08:50

Laptop is ON. Job description is FOUND. And I am not at all tempted to fanny about trying on interview outfits rather than revising. Not at all.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 08:52

Thanks blondie! I don't think much could fuel my menkul any worse than it already is! Currently browsing pregnancy test galleries to see ?BFPs and how they came out. Annoyingly most people don't update! Shame I'm not working really, would benefit from work disctrations! Instead I will be exchanging two curtain poles I got in the wrong size and asking the beauty lady who does my eyebrows her advice on what to do about my fingernail - I removed my cuticles and painted my nails on holiday. When I took the nail vanish off there was big gap and the top half has since fallen off. Nail bed is quite sore, wondering if having a gel nail over it will give my nail/ the bed time to heal?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 08:54

X-posts. Well done norf. If you want any more advice, or want me to look at the job description let me know!

FriendofDorothy · 02/05/2012 09:16

I like the Boots ones that gave a cross. Found them easier to read not that I have done 15 tests or so and I am an expert.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 09:22

Yes, that's what drew me to buy a twin pack dor, I thought it would be easier to read. I looked at your chart the other day, made me Grin to see 7 positives recorded in a row!

FriendofDorothy · 02/05/2012 09:28

I stopped recording after 7 - I think I tested for 12 days straight!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 09:43

Ha Dor I think I'd need that many to convince myself too! I need to think carefully about the tv I'm watching - in Glee there's teenage pregnancy along with a hysterical pregnancy and in One Tree Hill Haley has just announced she's diffed! Not helping the menkul!
I should get up to distract myself!

Northey · 02/05/2012 09:57

Can I have a revision break yet? (ok, ok, I know I've only been doing it for an hour...)

How about a bath, fee? I find that's a nice halfway house to being up.

eurochick · 02/05/2012 10:43

We are working our way through 24 on Netflix. There was even a pregnancy on there in the episode we were watching last night. There is no escape.

Yes northey you're due a Brew by now! You can only concentrate for 45 minute periods at a time!
euro you're right. It's like it jumps out at you. I remember after a bereavement death seemed to be everywhere. All over the tv, any film I watched! Stuff I'd never really connected with suddenly felt poignant. Then again birth and death are simply a part of life but heightened when you're experiencing or not in the case of ttc! them?
I've managed to shower and change the bed. Definitely better - last two weeks I could only strip it and got MSB to help me put the fresh stuff on. I've just done it all myself!

Northey · 02/05/2012 11:13

I had a break for a yoghurt and a pint of water (ignoring the plaintive faces of cats who hoped my presence in the kitchen might mean a second breakfast). I also booked all my train tickets back and forth for scans. And now I am reading faithy's recommended BBC pages. V helpful.

I am not occasionally pausing to fantasise about holding a baby. Definitely not.

When ish since I know it varies would you expect to see the droid bugs?
Still nada here. Been to the shops to exchange curtain poles and get a few bits which has been good distraction. I'm going to go to our house in a minute to drop off the poles and see the progress. Not long til we're home!
Hope the stress eases soon bugs, always worse before you go on holiday but itll be worth it!

Well at least if you've got a bit of consistency with your cycle you have some idea.
Tis nice that you luff your job, I want to luff mine more....
Is itchy eyes a sign of being diffed? Cos my lenses are driving me mad! I have resorted to asking an online magic 8 ball. It told me to ask again twice and then it said 'My answer is no' Hmm

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 21:15

Magic 8 ball appears to be right. Just started spotting. And got an email from a uni friend titled 'Guess what?' now who can guess? First correct person wins a prize! Hmm

Northey · 02/05/2012 21:17

Oh th temptation to reply with an email entitled FUCK OFF. Not that I would ever ever seriously think of doing that to a friend. But it would flit across my mind.

FriendofDorothy · 02/05/2012 21:18

Did you reply.... 'you've contracted the clap?'

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 21:25

Ha to dor. Tempted norf. But she's not smug or anything. It's like. I know what's she's like. She's just finished her MSc and I bet she didn't start ttc til she knew it was all seen up. So I reckon it happened really quickly. And even though she's luffly, I feel like a bitch cos I can't say congratulations right now. AIBU to say 'that's great for you but actually we have fertility issues so I'm going to struggle with that a bit?'

Northey · 02/05/2012 21:31

Not at all. Just honest and open.

FriendofDorothy · 02/05/2012 21:32

No, that's exactly what I would say I think!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/05/2012 21:36

Yeah I think I will. We were house mates at uni so I can be that honest with her. I might do that tomorrow.
