April BFP thread

CD 1 today and my last cycle was 34 days which means I'm due to test 6th April.

Anyone fancy joining me?

Hi all. Well, after looking at my dates etc over last cycle and speaking to my friend, I think my bfp on Friday may have been a chemical pregnancy? Who knows, but I showed it to my friend and she said it was undoubtedly a positive result. I'm just glad I didn't just rely on that 1 test.

I am ready to get back onto things though. I have restocked on conceive plus, opks and pregnancy tests and I'm all set for a may bfp. just got to wait for the delivery now. Has anyone used preseed?

No AF yet so not sure what's going on really, but just want to move on now!

Cd8 and our first wedding anniversary here! Keep thinking if we hadn't have waited we could have had our baby already :(

I'm thinking of getting prepared or conceive plus as towards the end of the cycle and loads of shagging you need a bit of a helping hand!!

more coffee I used conceive plus this month! ( think its the same as preseed). May have helped..?!

Also hai i tested about 8 dpo and got a bfn so was too early.

Only thing different was using preseed

I actually thought we had missed ovulation as I was away on the weekend I ovulated but dtd 2 days before so preseed may have helped. X

Preseed is sperm-friendly lube. You can buy it on amazon.

Does it increase chances? x

Sorry in my last one I meant to say I used conceive plus ( same as preseed) sperm friendly lube that helps sperm swim/keeps inside a sperm friendly place etc Definitely worth trying. Apparently it does increase chances....

I've never used it but tempted to get it...

morecoffee sadly I think chemical pregnancies might be more common than false positives Very difficult because you may never know Has your AF arrived yet though? It isn't over until the fat lady sings!

winkle I don't have any amazing BFP secrets sadly- but as with my previous to pregnancies (DD & mc) by chance (DH works away part of the week) I ended up having most sex or or two days after I believed myself to have ovulated, so maybe that's worth a try for others too? So in my case I have a typical 28 day cycle, believe I ov on day 14, this month DTD on days 11, 12, 15 & 16, and I suspect (due to prev pg pattern) it was the day 15&16 sex what done it (), so maybe keep up the baby dancing after you think? Could just be me of course (or I could be misreading my ovulation signs and ov'ing later than I think, I suppose).

I am also a big fan of the cushion-under-hips-legs-in-the-air pose for 5-10 mins after sex, not remotely sexy but I swear it works! Gravity needs a helping hand!

We used conceive plus this month and got 1st bfp since ttc. So I would say it definitely works although if your body is dysfunctional as mine a bfp doesn't last longer than 24 bloody hours I buy it on amazon, much cheaper.not tried pre seed, but won't bother if its the same sort of thing, will stick with conceive plus. I would definitely recommend you get some wrinkle :)

AF not here yet. Still being teased with achey boobs, tingley nips and tiredness. Didn't bother to test again today, I cant bare to see another bfn this cycle. Will be seriously opking and tempting next cycle. Trouble with me is, I have to opk every single day that AF isn't here.

While googling earlier, I found a site about chemical pregnancies, and there were a few women who said they had crazy cycles, a bit like me and got a bfp one day, then the subsequent days bfn, yet a couple of weeks later got a bfp and going on their dates, they thought the 1st bfp was in actual fact the pregnancy test picking up ovulation, rather than pregnancy?! Is this possible? Can't find the link at the moment, well link up tommorow :)

Im due for AF today and I didnt test this morning. Im gonna wait til tomorrow to test if I dont come on today. Good job iv got internet cheapies - id need a bloody bank loan!

Well sort of. Boobs bit sore, bloated (but that could go either way) Freezing cold on a night (same with DD), really stuffy nose. NO spots (a complete friggin miracle), in fact skin is really nice, nails nice. My friend asked if id had a facial the other day as I was "glowing" no one has ever said that before!

But you know when you just have a feeling...

But again I could be entirely wrong...

Well it is sounding like you might get your bfp! All the signs are there! With each of my pregnancies I knew I was pregnant. I won't test tommorow, no more tests and can't keep buying full price ones! Unless my Amazon order arrives of course, but I still think I will wait :) good luck! I can't wait to read ur update! :)

Thanks. Im literally shitting myself. Im trying not to get my hopes up but its hard not to. Its my first cycle since MMC in Dec, thats only cos of the clomid, a 1/3 of the year has gone already. Stupid body why does it take soooo long to do anything!!!! Im not the most patient person in the world.

I know how you feel! Can I ask, were u px clomid through gaene/fertiliy clinic or gp?I am awaiting appt with fertility and hoping they will px me this.

Iv got pco's, I waited 8months b4 ging to dr's. GP referred me to gynae -they day of appt, got BFP. But the MMC in Dec, had to wait to be put back on list for gynae (i did ask if Dr could just prescribe it for me as gynae was going to give me some). Once I got in he prescribed it straight away - no messing. No arsing about with tests.

Got some provera (??) to induce period then clomid for days 2-6. I got 4 months worth at 50mg. Took first lot and had period on day 10! So took 2 lots within 2 weeks. Surely it should work then!!! Ive had a blood test at 21 days and not heard anything back - so I assume all is ok with dose.

My cycles were shocking tho, my last cycle b4 last yrs BFP was 62 days!

Just tell them you want the clomid still get some Ov sticks so then you know that your ovulating and when.

How long you been waiting for an appointment?

Had a very boozy weekend for our anniversary and Easter / bank holiday etc but that's it now for us! It's a new year of our marriage so getting responsible and cutting out the boozy times!

Brought wellman conception for hubs and sanatagen mum to be for me today!!

Oh and never amazon when you're drunk - accidentally brought conceive plus and pregnacare last night! I was only looking at the prices!! Stupid one click ordering on the amazon app!! Been frantically trying to cancel!
