April BFP thread

CD 1 today and my last cycle was 34 days which means I'm due to test 6th April.

Anyone fancy joining me?

I'm not entirely sure, cookies as my cycles have been erratic to say the least since the coil was removed... I'm going for Thursday as that's 28 days - I'm hoping I've settled back into that routine now! I seemed to have EWCM etc around the 'right' time for a 28 day cycle. So we'll see. OK, TMI alert: had a massive blob of EWCM today (was actually quite impressed by it) so just did an OPK and the test line is definitely as dark as the control line but not as wide. Have had a google and there seems to be divided opinions on whether this matters or not? Anyone with a definitive?

I didn't get a strong positive on an OPK last weekend, I missed doing one on Saturday night as we were at DP's parent's house. I just assumed I OVed on Saturday/Sunday as the OPKs leading up to Sat had been getting darker and I was experiencing some OV pains. No noticeable EWCM though. So it's entirely possible I didn't OV when I thought I had.

I'm CD31 today so this would be a really late time to OV but not impossible for me, I have been known to have a 41 day cycle before so OVing on CD31 wouldn't be out of question.

I'm so rambling now, I'll stop.

I know the answer is to just get SWI and stop obsessing with you lot on here so I'll go and be nice to DP. I just want to have 28 day cycles and OV on CD14 every month like I'm supposed to and not have this confusing, rebelious body

Hai - Don't feel like you've failed, just means the wait is a bit longer. Know how u feel tho - wish my stupid AF would just show up if it's going to!!

Used one of my 3 for 99p tests this evening. Still nada and still no AF - a week late now! At this stage, though, with the tests saying BFN, I'm inclined to just chalk it up to stupid PCOS and irregular cycle lengths but it's so frustrating when the last 3 months when i wasn't ttc have been every 4 weeks like clockwork and this month...not so much!! I suppose it was a bit much to hope we'd hit the nail on the head our first month of trying, but until AF arrives I'm ever hopeful lol

Still have fx for us with BFNs but no AF. I'm nearly 5 days late but no PCOS - Maybe my body just wants me to symptom spot and I've not done much of that this month. Wish AF would hurry up - it should be nearly over now so I could be getting on with SWIing!

I've just been out with two old friends - both visibly pregnant. There's a baby boom happening and I'm not part of it :-( Tempting fate in every direction with wine and veiny cheese so I v
can feel horribly guilty if by some miracle I am pregnant, and nicest pants to encourage AF if not. Just want to know!

backward when did you have your coil removed if you dont mind me asking? Only because I had mine taken out about 4 months ago now. cd28 for me. Any testers out there this morning?

right that is annoying.. Sometimes you can get CM during your LP I think? Did I read somewhere that an OPK can pick up more hormones than just LH? I guess just keep DTD and hope for the best

Hello eveyone just swinging by to say hi. Was pretty convinced that April was THE month (its my birthday and eveything), but I've just got some obvious PMS cramping and try as I might even I can't pursuade myself that this is a yet unreported preg symptom
So AF due 9 April - will be sitting it out on the sidelines with a hot water bottle and glass of cheering you all on for the next couple of weeks

Ditto mytime I'm 4 days late too now and just got yet another bfn. Do you think maybe we've got a nationwide "dodgy batch" of tests? grasping at straws

About 4 months ago too, cookies! Incredibly frustrating when you read your fertility should return to normal straight away and it bloody well hasn't!!!

anyone who has AF at the moment, would u be due another AF within april? I Am at the end so not sure weather too just stick with this thread? As the May 1 is pointless right now, With another AF at the end of this month!

Sore tummy today and (sorry tmi) just went for a wee and def thin trail of blood, so looks like AF will be along later this afternoon boo hoo

Oh well, having a bit of an iffy time in work at the min so this mightn't have been the best month for me to come over all hormonal and morning sick anyway!

Because even though, yes, technically AF should be due again on 29th April I am not repeat not poas again until 1st May!! lol

I think im still in the running, im 7dpo, really dizzy (drove like a snail this morning cos thought i was gonna keel over in the car) Got off treadmill cos bloke next to me smelt soooo bad. Temp still higher than normal and got (Sorry TMI) very thick CM. Also pain in right side (not DP) and my nose all bunged up on a night and FREEZING on a night. Big symptom with DD.

Im hoping and praying im not just a hypercondriac. (prob not spelt righ - but feel like im off my head today!)

Caved yest and tested, yes I know that 6dpo was never gonna get a BFP, but I think im getting myself used to seeing them in case it is a BFN on Sunday. I know fine well ill be doing at least 3 tests before then - event tho Sunday is still 13 dpo!!

ribs I'm 10 dpo and have had a few similar symptoms .... They don't seem to be in my head although in the past my body has played tricks so who knows. Let's hope this weekend af won't arrive and we get a BFP if not a ny baby will hopefully be in sight!! X

I am in need of a rant ladies - tummy aches, back aches, another BFN (I knew I couldn't last!) only an Internet cheapie with evening wee but still, and AF due any day any hour. just want it to hurry up and start the next cycle now- 3rd cycle lucky and all that. This will be my forth whole month without contraception and I have been DTD every other day (more at weekends!!) throughout this time. Having a bit of a fed up time and DP is out tonight so feeling a bit sorry for myself (stupid hormones)

No exactly how ur feeling cookies af due thursday but if its coming wish it would be soon so i could start over on cd1.

I'm sure mine is imminent, had a huge temp dip today so just want it to hurry! Definite white/pale knicker day tomorrow! Also if my LP is the same as last month I am due tonight/tomorrow. Hope yours hurries up and makes an appearance, I want to test on may 1st and get my BFP!!

Having quite a few cramps tonight, pretty sure AF is about to show her hideous face within the next couple of days. Another BFN this morning too.
