CD 1 today and my last cycle was 34 days which means I'm due to test 6th April.

Anyone fancy joining me?

Littlemiss, Mildred, hai, winkle I'm with you, although I'm CD27/28 so probs tomorrow at work AF will show her face. I'm trying to remain + but I just know I'm not pg. checked out my chart this morning though and I've had two dips on my chart since ov and my temp has shot up today. It's teasing me for sure. Going to have a coffee and not think about it I think! Hold in there ladies!

Winkly · 02/04/2012 10:39

Hmm. I have nice white pants on and think I can feel AF being tempted out of hiding by them :(

Walnut8 · 02/04/2012 11:17

Keep thinking positive ladies!!!!

I am not moving to an ante-natal thread until at least one of you gets a BFP and can join me

I'm sorry about AF arriving georgie Sad A new year baby does sound lovely though.

MildredH · 02/04/2012 11:44

Lol- I looked at the white pants this morning and thought they'd be handy for "monitoring" purposes but just flippin annoying when the inevitable happens.

I suspect AF is storing up to catch me at work tonight when I'll be doubly unhappy about it :(

As said before- I'm pretty sure we're going to give it a break for a month or two if this one doesn't work out. It's getting too stressful and I want to go back to being fun newlyweds..

LittleMissSnowShine · 02/04/2012 11:59

lol @ Mildred and Winkly - I'm wearing lovely matching undies today so AF had better not show up and spoil em!!

I was in Home Bargains picking up stuff for work this morning and got 3 x cheapo tests for 99p. They're only sensitive to 20miu tho, but might give it a go again on Wed if AF is still not in evidence (please please don't show up stupid AF!!)

Iheartcats87 · 02/04/2012 12:17

Hey ladies..a little update from me :) I had a definite positive Opk on cd 24 (of 34/36 day cycle) which was saturday, and dtd on cd 22 and cd 24, wanted to swi again today but now have a poorly dp in bed so no luck there :( hopefully one of those days will do the trick fx. So I am now on my tww and have been feeling lots of crampiness and slight pain on lower left side. Unfortunately Af not due til the 13th so still got a while to go :(

Any BFPs from anyone else yet?

Walnut - Congrats on your BFP! Really hoping I will be joining you in the due date threads!

winkle2 · 02/04/2012 12:23

AF got me! Arrrggggghhhh. I hope I don't see any of you on the May thread!!! (in the nicest possible way :))

OP posts:
LittleMissSnowShine · 02/04/2012 12:28

@winkle2 - arrrgghhh, sorry to hear that Sad But... hopefully this just means another new year baby for our thread.

@iheartcats - still a bit of a wait ahead but hope you'll be another BFP for the thread when it's time for you to poas!

RightUpMyRue · 02/04/2012 12:48

Sad too may AFs Sad

How are you Walnut? Smile

ddas · 02/04/2012 12:57

I posted at the start of this thread and been lurking since then. just wanted to add another BFP to the thread :) and wish everyone else the best of luck hope to see many of you on the antenatal boards.

RightUpMyRue · 02/04/2012 12:58

ddas!! Congratulations Grin

When did you find out?

ddas · 02/04/2012 13:08

yesterday at 9dpo. decided to test despite telling myself after previous months i wouldn't put myself through the disappointment of seeing a bpn but then not believing it as poas too early- but felt the same type of strange nausea that felt with ds so caved and tested! faint line in the morning with a couple of internet cheapies and couldn't be doing with the whole is it there or not business so went for the big guns with a digital last night and 1-2wk pregnant :)!!! over the moon but very very early days so not going to move over the the antenatal board just yet. did another cheap internet test this morning and line getting darker so fingers crossed will be due on the 14th dec if all continues to be well.

Walnut8 · 02/04/2012 13:22

congrats ddas!!!!!!! I did the same thing as you, promised myself I wouldn't test early and then did. I think I might have to do a digi too. Just to confirm .... 14th of Dec is a nice due date to have!

I'm okay thanks right Smile Have an app with the GP tomorrow. Still terrified AF going to come. Have been feeling a bit dizzy and strange and have terrible skin. DH taking a while to catch on, offered me a Wine last night?! How are you going? Have you taken any more tests?

RightUpMyRue · 02/04/2012 13:22

Wow, an early result! You'll probably keep on testing daily until you feel more secure about it, I know I would!

MildredH · 02/04/2012 13:44

Congrats ddas great news x

Hai1988 · 02/04/2012 14:05

Congratz ddas

Sorry to hear about af winkle :(

I expect i will be joining you soon

RightUpMyRue · 02/04/2012 14:16

Dizziness and even fainting are both common in early pregnancy, probably nothing to worry about. A trip to the GP will hopefully help you feel more secure. Terrible skin, while horrible to have, is a good sign of lots of hormones Smile

I tested Saturday and today, both BFN but only 8 DPO so not completely resigned to another negative month yet. No symptoms yet though other than a couple of sleepness nights, which is unusual for me, but I'm not reading anything into it. Trying not to think too much about it which is impossible.

ddas · 02/04/2012 14:47

thanks everyone

right not that i've followed some own advice!! but try and hold out testing that little bit longer as then you'll have a more definitive answer one way or another.

walnut8 have you joined the antenatal thread yet? I had awful skin when pregnant with ds- was one of my most prominent symptoms unfortunately!!
didn't really believe the faint lines on the cheepies until I saw it in writing on a digital so def worth the money.
tempted to just join the antenatal thread as if it's not going to work out it'll happen regardless but at least it'll seem real!

EmpireBiscuit · 02/04/2012 15:26

I am forcing myself to feel symptoms at the moment - feeling nauseous and tired....I am guessing it's just trapped wind and a late night.

Cookiesandcream06 · 02/04/2012 16:42

Congratulations dds that's fantastic Grin

AF arriving just means a January baby to look forward to instead, sorry to hear about the AF but being at CD1 means you can be full of optimism for the next month.

backwardpossom · 02/04/2012 16:54

Congrats ddas!!

I'm still here, hanging on. Woke up this morning and was going into the shower and caught sight of my boobs in the mirror. They have grown massively overnight... this happened with DS. Trying not to get my hopes up, but it's hard huh?! Think I'll test on Thurs with a cheapie if AF hasn't shown up by then.

morecoffeepleaseholdthecake · 02/04/2012 17:29

Congrats ddas!

Sorry AF turned up ladies, think of your new year babies though!

Things are looking good here at the moment, although I am a few weeks behind the rest of you! Ewcm today, so I'm still in with a chance of April bfp!

Fingers crossed for us all :)

Cookiesandcream06 · 02/04/2012 18:20

backward this sounds promising.. What date is AF due? Think I might test on thurs again if no AF for me by then.. Deff going to wear the light coloured knickers in the next few days.. Will save me a test that way! I just hate the not knowing!!!

Hai1988 · 02/04/2012 19:14

so true cookies its the not knowing that is a bitch!

af due thursday here i know i have failed this month so just wish it would hurry up so can start over on a brand new cycle.

birdofthenorth · 02/04/2012 19:48

So pleased for Walnut and ddas!

Sorry about the several AF visits today, rubbish. New Year babies definitely worth looking forward to though.

I am currently 6 or 7 days dpo and pretty impatient. No symptoms (possibly sensitive boobs, could be imagining it?) but holding onto optimism til the last!

Good luck everybody who's in or nearing the testing zone, will be reading the thread with fingers crossed.
