Right, who is going to get pregnant this March?
You are?
Well fancy that. So am I.

Congrats issimma and dangermousy! Lots of positive thoughts to you! I don't think I ovulated this month based on temps but you never know, will test this friday to see if, by some miracle I'm pregnant this month and the thermometer was wrong! also am seeing the doc tomorrow to talk about my temps and ask if sometimes it takes a while to ov after coming off the pill. On the bright side have a hol booked for may, at this rate I'll be able to enjoy that (desperately trying to be optimistic!) x

RIBS · 27/03/2012 09:35

Congrats issi and dangermousy

I think I remember dangermousy from a prev thread somewhere as we'v been in same mc boat. Im thrilled for you both.

cass if you've a hol booked then thats when you'l get your bfp - right before you go.

Im very confused, thought id ov'd very early around day 8 or 9 which I put down on the clomid. But i got big thick line EWCM and ov pain yest and today.

Does anyone know if you can ov twice in a month on diff dates?

CassMonkey · 27/03/2012 09:51

Twice a month! I can't even manage once, now you're just showing off Ribs ;-)

I found this for you online by googling just now (below), but it was on Yahoo answers so not sure how accurate, twice doesn't seem possible at separate times (though I wonder if one of the multiple ovulation eggs could be delayed somehow??) It only takes once though so hopefully if you're trying for both suspected times you'll get lucky with the real one!

Can a woman ovulate more than once during each cycle?
A woman cannot ovulate more than once during each cycle, therefore she cannot get pregnant more than once during a cycle. Multiple ovulation can occur and is when two or more eggs are released in a single cycle. Both eggs are released during one 24 hour period and are responsible for the birth of fraternal twins. It is believed that this may occur in as many as 5-10% of all cycles but does not result in that many twins due to a type of miscarriage referred to as the ?vanishing twin phenomenon.?

Great news issimmareally pleased for you!

BFN and Aunty Flo in one day for me, booooo

Nevermind, roll on next month!

happyhow · 28/03/2012 21:51

Sorry about that broody. Get the Wine out this evening!

It's fair to say that I am a bit confused...Confused I'm pretty certain that I'm out for this month too but my body is not behaving itself!!

I've had a little spotting since Monday which hasn't come to anything but got a BFN this morning (AF due today). Sorry if there's TMI coming.... Monday and Tuesday, didn't need to wear any pantyliners or anything - just when wiping. Was a pale pink/red and very mucusy! Today there's been a little more but it's been brown, like very thick mucus. Not enough to have needed any sanitary wear but I had it on as I was convinced AF would rear her ugly head!! I would usually have a tiny bit of spotting that would get a little heavier throughout the day and then all hell would break loose overnight so I'm confused with what's going on.

Have had none of my other AF symptoms apart from sore boobs but they haven't been the usual soreness!!

Could this be linked to my mc in January? This would be my second AF since then. I'm pretty much convinced there ain't going to be a baby coming to me in December!

I'm guessing I just need to wait it out for a few more days and see what happens. Just needed to get it off my chest and if anyone has any ideas/advice/bottle of wine handy I'll happily accept!!!!

P.S. Sorry for the length of this post!!!!!! SmileSmile

Happy - this bit is such a pain, isn't it... I also got similar odd bleeding this month. Having had early bleeding for my first pregnancy (which is now an almost two year old!), I am convinced this type of early bleeding is implantation bleeding.
However, unfort in my case this month, it led to a proper period and a BFN.
But look, even if you get a BFN too (and fingers crossed you don't!!) but if you do, then we're still holding out for 'getting pregnant this month' (meaning the date by which AF comes - so keep positive if you DO get your period in March, since we'll still be getting pregnant this month :) (even if we'll be conceiving next month, cough, yes, I know).
Good luck and keep us updated!

Broody, booh :-(
But still, AF in March means we'll be getting pregnant in March according to the pregnancy calculations (am boring self now). Good luck in April all of us!

Hi all, just checking in again. Day 37 today, and no AF, and a negative test this morning. Fed up today, struggling at keeping positive and not bursting in to tears at my desk. Having major mood swings, cried on DH on Sunday (in the queue for the tip) then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday absolutely fine, in a what will be will be, it's early days ttc (cycle 4 trying) etc etc. Then today for some reason I'm really down in the dumps. I thought that last months 38 days was a blip, but it looks like this month is going to be even longer. I'm getting worried that this means that there's something wrong with me, and I'm broken. Sad I'm not liking this TTC thing!

zumm · 29/03/2012 15:04

Stickle :(
It is indeed headfuckery.
Apols if you've already said, but how old are you? If over 35 then maybe give it two more months and then it might help your sanity to have yourself checked over? But of course, you'll be pregnant by then oh spunk buddy.
Now if AF arrives tomorrow, I order you drink a massive FLASK of wine and four strong coffees (am enjoying loads of bad stuff at the mo in revenge for the baby no-show). Plus blue cheeses, rare steaks, deli food and anything else that might soon become embargoed. Keep posting and hope you feel better soon!

Well the witch has arrived for me on her super charged broom causing much pain and annoyance!!!! Angry I guess it'll have to be next month after all. Stupid witch.

As Zummsays, this stuff is major headfuckery!! I wish we could all just get accidentally pregnant at a convenient time and all this crap would never be an issue!!!

Sticklebricksuk · 29/03/2012 15:55

Zumm I'd actaully like it if AF arrived tomorrow as I'm going away for the weekend and could indulge in all those things - and at least I would have had a 38 day cycle for 2 months in a row so that would at least mean it was regular for the moment, if not rather long.
I am 30, and DH is 36. I actually went to the docs on day 37 last month to say "where is my period, what is going on", and she was brilliant and sent me for bloods even though it's only been about 4 months. I have to go back this week, as when I phoned for results receptionist said "oh you had a lot taken, let me see; normal, normal, normal, normal ... ahh ... you need to come and see the doctor. You're going for an ultrasound right?" Me: "what, no, no-one has contacted me". Her: "we'll make you an appointment then to see the doctor". Me: "well can you tell me what's up, you've worried me now". Her: "no, I'm not a doctor, I don't understand, come in on Wednesday". Me: "erm ok".
Panicking now. Actually might do a specific thread about it, see if anyone can help.

CassMonkey · 29/03/2012 21:44

sticklebricksuk have you been tested for PCOS? They do an ultrasound test for that?

God it is so hard isn't it - am on day 32 now and if my AF comes tomorrow at least that will be two months in a row on a 33 day cycle (POAS tonight, BFP). At this point I don't care how regular they are, am just praying I actually ovulate next month, then I can at least hope for a BFP and stop worrying there is something major wrong :( Here's to lots of indulging over the AF period.

CassMonkey · 29/03/2012 21:52

Meant BFN, not BFP...but am sure that was obvious! Wishful thinking

zumm · 30/03/2012 12:36

Stickle - I can't believe the insensitivity of some med receptionists - so sorry you got put thru that. Let us know how it pans out come Weds.
And hope you have a good weekend despite all this,,,
Cass - :(. Wishing you a BFP next month!!
