ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

Hi guys
I had my test done at the doctors and not pg. Bit upset as really thought I was!!!
So now on to hoping for a positive in feb!!!
Bit depressed as came off depo in oct and people say could take a year to get back to normal!!
Still going to have fun this month trying!! Why do people who are pregnant or have been say things like " just enjoy trying!" I dont wanna try!!!

wannaBe1974 · 26/01/2006 18:18

Hi Gemma sorry to hear that you're not PG, here's hoping you'll get that BFP in Feb

I think generally that people saying we should enjoy trying do it with the best of intentions, because for so many it happens first month and so they don't know how it feels to have to wait for months before it happens. Having said that, I do think that it's important to have fun trying as I think that the whole TTC experience can become all-consuming and sex can become a chore rather than an act of love which will produce the baby we so desperately want.

hi wannabe
sorry to hear your news gemma, good luck to you for more bd-ing this month.....
im still a bit confused, i was just looking in the archives about implantation bleeds. i really dont know what to think. this may be tmi, but i have a kind of "murky" vaginal discharge...looks like a bit bloody ...
i know what you all mean about being way tooo obsessed, but how not to be? wish i could just hibernate and wake up pregnant in the spring

wannaBe1974 · 26/01/2006 18:24

Wow it's really quiet on here today, hope I haven't taken over the thread .

OP posts:
gemmaseascout · 26/01/2006 18:27

Thanx
I am going to "keep trying" in the most fun and exciting way. Still my hubby is glad we have stepped sex up to every 2 - 3 days!!! Just wish I knew when I was ovulating. No period so dont know!!!

wannaBe1974 · 26/01/2006 18:27

ah but PCM if you hybernated and woke up pregnant there would be no enjoyment in the trying. It's possible that it could be implantation then - when did you ovulate do you know?

OP posts:
wannaBe1974 · 26/01/2006 18:29

Gemma have you not had a period since October?

OP posts:
gemmaseascout · 26/01/2006 18:32

Had a bleed on december 28th for three days. I did ovulation tests after 14days and they didnt show ovulation. Started feeling nauseous and very moody and emotional. Monday had aurine test by doctor and came back negative so have home test kits although I havent done on since monday. Doctor says its my hormones getting back to normal. No bleed or period yet though!!???

trace2 · 26/01/2006 18:34

nowanearlyNicemum i love that place, been a few years ago

gemmaseascout sorry, its a bfn, maybe feb too, i came of depo 18 months ago, its evil

pussycatmomma calm down, relax remember no stress

wannaBe1974 · 26/01/2006 18:39

remind me never to go on depo - sounds just horrible. I know how frustrating it is not to have periods - I had a overactie thyroid 9 years ago and my periods stopped out of nowhere! It was frustrating then and kids were furthest from my mind back then, can't imagine how much more frustrating it must be if TTC.

OP posts:
trace2 · 26/01/2006 18:41

gp thinks that why am not ovulating, because of depo

pussycatmomma · 26/01/2006 18:46

i know, i know.......just cant help wondering thats all tra

trace2 · 26/01/2006 18:49

i now hun, i really hope you are, i feel really close to you, like i know you, just dont want you to get hurt, been there so many times

pussycatmomma · 26/01/2006 18:54

thanks sweetie, feel like i know you too
thing is , for anyone trying, we are putting ourselves at risk of being hurt over and over again, each time we bd, or wait for af, or have an unusual twinge, or extra sore boobs....whatever - we risk being hurt, because we want it so much. I was saying to my friend the other day, trying to explain it to her...
I said it was like when you fall in love with someone and you are in v. early stages of relationship and getting to know someone, and you have to start letting the barriers down, to let the good stuff into your life. You also let down barriers so bad stuff can get in too, and you risk being hurt by the new person, but because you want to be with them so much, and you want your life to be different , you do it, you risk your feelings in the hope that things turn out ok
Obviously this only applies if you have been in love and hurt by one of the many bastardos out there!!!! which i have come to think of it! before dh obviously, he is a little love , my proper soulmate
does anyone get what i mean or am i completly waffling?

trace2 · 26/01/2006 18:54
