ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

morning all, Hope you're all ok today. Pussycat I get where you're coming from on letting barriers down and not getting hurt etc, I feel exactly the same, even now that I'm trying for baby no 2 it still hurts every month when AF arrives after I've had simptoms. And this time I promised I'd be m ore laid back about it, but the reality is far removed from the thought of being laid back.

Due to ov in next couple days I think, but am spending weekend at inlaws so not sure if there'll be much time for BD, then again it's only saturday night.

Hales when last did you see your DH? if you're ovulating today the egg is good for about 24 hours so if you grab him the instant he walks in the door you could just get lucky, or if you have BD this week there's a chance as well as sperm can live for up to 5 days in the female body.

Bit nervous today as starting back at college today, starting a counselling course.

Right have waffled on enough for now, (((hugs)))) to all and lots of baby dust xx

Pussycat hope

Hello to all new people. I can see this thread being a 1800 one again!!

AF went finally yesterday, but no bding yet. cant. Sooo fed up. Keep thinking maybe I just should!

mumswish · 27/01/2006 09:25

Baby-dancing..... sex!

nowanearlyNicemum · 27/01/2006 09:26

aaaah, thanks! I figured it meant sex but couldn't work out what bd stood for.
you learn something new everyday!

mumswish · 27/01/2006 09:30

Took me a while to figure out what DP/DH stood for, had to go looking!! lol

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 10:03

We are hoping for a very positive Feb '06, probably asking for too much though since I have only come off the pill this month!!

mumswish · 27/01/2006 10:09

Good luck Natalie. I only came off my pill 2 weeks ago (ish) so join the club. You had your withdrawal bleed yet?

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 10:27

No, only stopped taking it about a week ago!! LOL I am so excited about having another baby though, and felt I had to tell someone we were trying again!!!

Will this be your first baby?

mumswish · 27/01/2006 10:34

yeh, I cant wait.

Had a couple of mc's in the past so hoping when it happens again it stays this time.

Not ttc as such at the mo because we're in the middle of moving house and switching jobs once is done all systems go. TBH I want all systems go now as dont care if I switch jobs!! lol

I wont go onto to this subject cos I get very annoyed!

anyway, will this be your second child?

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 10:39

Sorry about the m/c, my sister has had a few two after 6 months, can't pretend I know what you go through, but I will keep my fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy this time for you

Yes this will be my second, we have a little boy Thomas, he will be 4 in March.

mumswish · 27/01/2006 10:40

awww bless ya, Hope all goes well for you

Where abouts you from?

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 10:42

We are in Accrington (Nr. Blackburn), you?

mumswish · 27/01/2006 10:44

well at the mo, little town called Oswestry (Shropshire) but moving to Wrexham (bit bigger) in North Wales

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 10:47

Have you got family/friends in Wrexham?

gemmaseascout · 27/01/2006 10:52

hello people
I am soooooo wishing that this is a lucky thread.
I want a baby sooooooooooo much
I came off depo in oct and have been told to take agnus castus to help regulate ovulation. Let you know what happens. Also reflexology is supposed to help.

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 10:55

Hi Gemma,

I was on depo when we decided to try for DS1, it only took 6 months before I was pregnant, but I had only had two injections, this time I have been on the pill for nearly four years so I am hoping that we get PG quickly but I am ready for a long wait aswell!!

gemmaseascout · 27/01/2006 10:57

i have been on it for over seven years!! Been off since october and have bleed 28th dec. Dont know if that was a period or not!! Just trying lots at the moment. Though I was pg, was nauseous and weeing loads, but doctors test said no!

mumswish · 27/01/2006 10:59

Natalie, My nan lives in wrexham but not near where we're moving to, its only about 20 miles from our flat at the mo, lots cheaper for houses there tho.

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 11:04

Hopefully February will be lucky for some of you

NatalieJane · 27/01/2006 11:09

Mumswish

I am originally from Bedford and our house down there would be worth 3 or 4 times as much down there, it is ridiculas!! We have my hubbies family about 20 miles away, and must admit it is hard trying to get a baby sitter, we have been out on our own 4 times since our DS was born!!

mumswish · 27/01/2006 11:22

well parents are only about 15 miles away in either direction so we can happily drive down to drop off if we need a babysitter and grandparents are about the same. I guess we're lucky
