ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Maidenhead in Berkshire. they're alright really, well MIL's not too bad but FIL ... well let's just say we had a massive row two years ago during which he as called as called me a bad mother and various other things that couldn't be unsaid, and things have never exactly been the same since.

hellooo! gosh you lot wont hardly believe me butive only just got up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
felt like ive been drugged in my sleep!!!!! so so so tired! oh well, dh playing golf, i was only going to go into town, and its before payday anyway so i havent missed much there
no bd last night, we had a silly daft "argument" - all ok now though. really really got this feeling that im not going to be pg in feb, almost feel like i havent tried hard enough iyswim.
i think this is a general feeling i get about a lot of things, that it is my fault, that i havent got the result i want because i either havent wanted it badly enough, or because i havent tried hard enough......something to do with my efforts or aims?? daft i spose, but thats just the way i am. I so hope so though! my dh has said a few times, oh,you might be pg already! also my sis-in-law said to me "o you might be next , always comes in 3's" when i told her my bfriend was preg and that my sis is due to find out next week. GGGGrrrrr i know im being ridiculous trying to make all these coincidences and things just "fit" to the result i want!!!! cant help myself though

yes due on same day hun. is 4th next saturday? Havent got my calendar in here.
also, somethng weird happened when in loo early this morning. when i wiped, looked like a bit of mucousy bloody (sorry if tmi..)stuff. also had a bit of stuff that looked like it does when you very first start your af.
i know ive never had any kind of "spotting" or stuff like this before in between periods.
apart from the obv, why else do you get coloured stuff in between?

yes exactly, that is by far the worst thing about all this trying for a baby businesss. tis not the trying, but the waiting which is the worst thing you can put yourself through . the waiting, the hoping, the slow realisation that its not happened again and that you have to get yourself together so you can start the whole damn thing again . pretty really isnt it all?

nope at hospital, because am not ovulating so they have to do befor they refer me

are they deffo sure you not ovulating? sometimes home ovu sticks/tests not 100% you know hun.
What hormone do they chck for? do you know

nope no idea,but i have to have one on day 3 too, done diffrent kits, none have showed any sighn of ovulaing

right hun.........if this is first bloodtests you are having, it says this-
"Blood tests will be first investigation if you are having problems concieving, and will tell your dr if there are any probslems with
-follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels
-Oestradiol levels
-Luteinizing hormone (LH) levels
-Prolactin levels
-Progesterone
Additional tests can be run on a blood sample to check for:
-full blood count
-thryroid hormone levels
-rubella
-toxoplasmosis
-cmv
-inhibin b

It continues to say -
"Follicle stimulating hormone is produced in the pituitary gland: as its name suggests, it stimulates the follicles to produce oestrogen; it also stimulates the ovary to produce an egg. The oestrogen produced then in turn affects the pituitary gland to slow down the production of FSH. This is called "negative feedback"; the effect keeps the FSH level low under normal circumstances. The lower the FSH level, the better this will be read by your doctor on days 1-3, in conjunction with oestradiol levels; a raised FSH Level is an indication that the ovaries are beginning to struggle, higher levels of FSH are necessary to produce the same effects"

Sounds like they are making preliminary tests, and the book also says that lots of women assume they are not ovulating but they really are.
