About time I start a thread! Pom poms still shaking, bumps growing, babies and toddlers talk a plenty, while the support, laughs, hand holds and weebling continues...

Neeko · 25/03/2012 20:56

Yay Moon! That's great. Hope you have a teeny bump on your wedding day Smile

good luck Barbie. Hope it all goes well.

*Vjay8 please ask your doc for a hospital referral as it's best that he is tested for the right colour of overlay. Haven't forgotten I'm supposed to be emailing you. Been silly mad here. Will try tomorrow.

Been wrapping H's birthday presents. 4 sleeps and my baby girl will be 2! I'm working on Thursday but DH is taking the day off to be with her Smile and we're having a family party on Saturday. I have a work night out on Fri so it could be interesting on Saturday Hmm

Neeko · 25/03/2012 20:58

Happy birthday DTs! Smile Waves and a huge Wine for louey

Neeko · 25/03/2012 20:59

Not sure what's going on but I missed 4ever's post too. Hi! Grin

MummysLittleSunbeams · 26/03/2012 07:54

neeko 3 sleeps! Smile

barbie good luck with the move, hope it goes smoothly. At least you have the perfect excuse to take a step back & let someone else do all the hard work.

Where's the sun? It's so foggy here booooo.

Happy Monday everyone.

VJayazzle · 26/03/2012 14:19

neeko I'm seeing his teachers this week and will discuss the out relays with them and make an appointment to see cjays doc.

Was at the doc with Ajay today and he's been given an inhaler. Not sure if he's got asthma but with his allergy and excema (sp?), the doc felt it wouldn't hurt to see if it will help his breathing and coughing in the night. I hope it does as I'd love a full nights sleep, so would Ajay bless him.

VJayazzle · 26/03/2012 14:19

Out relays??? Overlays!!!!

littlebellsmum · 26/03/2012 21:47

quick yay to moon fab news. hope you are too busy to post Wink
barbie Hope that ds's tummy is easing a bit and that the move back isn't too sad or hairy - really looking forward to seeing you again. Weather here lovely - bb has been vest less this weekend but think that might be a bit much for the babies of the desert!!

Love to everyone else - life mad as ever. Have just had lovely weekend in New forest with some friends from Australia - yesterday afternoon, in field by the river whilst kids played cricket or more accuratly, others played cricket , I stopped youngest from going in the river. Cricket was stopped when said youngest nicked the stumps, bat and ball!! Was rather lovely though!!

MummysLittleSunbeams · 27/03/2012 07:16

vjay which type of inhaler is it? Dd1 has been on clenil modulate since she was about 2 & it has worked wonders. She used to cough at night but it was one time she had a cold & the cough became a full-on wheeze that I knew she was going to have asthma like me. Now she only coughs at night when she has a proper cough iyswim.

lbm your weekend by the river sounds bliss. I wish I could persuade dh to do something like that. When we were in gran canaria last month we only went to the beach once in 2 weeks (despite it being 5 mins walk away) as he can't stand getting sand everywhere. Sad

moon have you started taking the clomid yet?

VJayazzle · 27/03/2012 10:13

mls the box says its ventolin, salbutamol sulphate. I gave him some last night before bed then again when he woke up coughing at 4 this morning. I think it helped Confused

neeko thanks for all the information you've emailed, and thanks to another lurking lady too, she knows who she is Wink I feel much more informed now and have a bit more confidence when I see his teachers tomorrow. I can't thank you both enough Smile xxx

Another lovely day here, did the school run on bikes, cjay very happy Smile

BlueMoon1981 · 27/03/2012 21:03

Thank you for everyones congrats since I've last been on, it means a lot to me, thank you :)

mls yes I was very lucky, when we saw the consultant, af was due any day, so am on my 2nd clomid taking day today Grin

One of these days I will get round to doing some proper posting, its been a long long time and I promise one day to redeem myself.

CurlyLikesShortShorts · 27/03/2012 21:34

Hello everyone :) So much to catch up on with you lovely ladies and I'm so excited to hear Moons news - yay to multiple babybluemoons in late 2012 - or just the one will do Grin

I can't wait for our meetup and finally getting to meet barbie and catch up with mls 4ever and sabs and lbm if you can make it :) Curlygirl is practicing hard singing happy birthday to sabs. It's her favorite song at the moment though so you may all have to pretend it's your birthday. sabs I'm a bit sad that it will be your edd. I hope things are going well for you and that you have now settled in to the new house and that gorgeous Saara is enjoying her new spacious digs :)

lovely 4ever I'm sorry I wasn't around last month for your edd. I was choked up reading about you opening your memory bag. I have the same for my llo's. I can understand what you mean about Summer being such a blessing that it is easier to cope with. I love my sweet funny curlygirl so much. I will be grinning like a mad thing when you get upduffed again though. And next time it will be sticky sticky sticky :) Can't wait to see you again in April x

vjay you are such a star. Roll on September and the end of your last module. Sorry to hear about cjays dyslexia but thankfully he has you for a mum and he will be fine. big hugs missus. Happy belated anniversary and birthday. Hope you had a lovely day both times :)

louey I couldn't help laughing reading about you trying to get all three kids in the car back when it was snowing! How do you do it?! And you go jogging Grin Was it really snowing a month ago? Hard to believe with all this lovely sunshine

barbie Yes my head has been mainly down a WC Envy but I try to use DH's bathroom for puking so that mine stays all shiny and nice Wink I am so excited about you moving to Paris :) Where are you going to live? I am picturing you somewhere very chic and bijou. Try not to worry about having PND. Yes it is something to watch out for but if would be insane if you weren't feeling down after all you have been through recently. You may just need sleep more than anything. Keep a diary if you can and that way you can keep an eye on things. If you need a loan of anything for D or H while you are in London let me know. I'm quite handy for Bank so looking forward to lots of meetups. Hope the drugs sort out H - at least you have some answers. Hang in there lovely xxx

neeko happy 2nd birthday to H on Thursday Grin I hope things are better with your work situation. Wonderful news that they have agreed for you to continue your reduced hours :)

Monkey how did your gynae procedure go? I hope all is good with you and your sweet ds xxx

Buddha hope you are fully recovered from the chest infection and that E is much better too from his chicken pox and that all has gone well this month with catching that egg :) You are a wonderful mum, and by the time you have your next, E won't be two any more Grin

Gracie are you still sick too? Hang on in there. It can't be long to go for you :)

Cupcake How is the lovely Jude? I can't believe you are 33+ weeks now. Have you got your bag packed. If heartburn is still bad go to your doc and ask for ranitidin. It is safe in pregnancy (though should be prescribed) and makes a massive difference.

MLS you can love santa all year round Grin I still like wearing short shorts all winter long. That's sucha lie actually - my thighs are more dorothy perkins than abercrombie & fitch Grin

blue total heartmelt at Isaac patting your back when you had your head down the toilet :) I keep getting strokes on my arm when spd gets too much and I ouch out load. It does make me feel better :)

Big waves to baking mm vm jools lion annie mrskate qa and iggy. Hope I haven't forgotten anyone Blush

BlueMoon1981 · 27/03/2012 22:10

curly I love your posts! Grin sorry to hear you are still sick, it will all be worth it though.

cupcakefairy · 28/03/2012 12:13

Hi curly! Lovely to see a proper curlypost :) bless u still being sick & spd too, yucky. My sciatica has flared up just in the last wk its so horrible not being able to do stuff properly for ds.. really hoping it won't last the next 7 weeks. Everyone keeps telling me I'm huuuuuuuuge which is quite annoying Hmm hoping this isn't going to be a whopper of a baby but not much I can do about it. Heartburn not too bad now, managed with gaviscon anyway. Are u planning on a vbac?
Wish I was coming to the meetup it sounds so lovely! I did lol at everyone having to pretend its their birthday..ds loves happy birthday too & gets so excited if we catch the birthday song on cbeebies.

moon yippee for being on the tablets already, pompoms shaking here!

vjay great news about inhaler. A friend just managed to get an asthma diagnosis for her 17 month old (they don't normally diagnose til 2 do they) as she's been sure he has it for months.. age says inhaler is helping massively at night so hopefully lots of sleep coming your way!

cupcakefairy · 28/03/2012 12:14

SHE says inhaler... Not age. Must proof read!

4everhopeful · 29/03/2012 09:02

B I G Happy 2nd Birthday to Neekos young H today!!!!! Grin Grin

Another Happy Birthday going to a possibly lurking lady who knows who she is too! Wink Smile

Lovely to 'see' a mammoth Curly post Smile reminds me of yonder years! Smile

Big waves to everyone else! Been quite hectic here, enjoying the sun, nice picnic in Richmond park on sunday, and the new trampoline in the garden being put to good use! Mini drama here on tuesday when Summer swallowed my engagement and eternity ring!! Shock Thank god I somehow remained calm, and despite her going red and not seeing any sign of them in her throat, a few hefty thumps on her back and they came flying out!!! Phew! Shock My heart was going like the clappers I can tell you!

Will post a proper personals post asap promise.. ! x x x x x x

OP posts:
VJayazzle · 29/03/2012 13:28

4ever she swallowed your rings Shock, I would have been flapping!!! Glad shes alright

neeko Ive already said it but will say it again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY H ThanksThanksSmileSmile they are ballons and flowers for H and Wine for you Grin

4everhopeful · 29/03/2012 14:07

Tell me about it vjay! Its amazing how autopilot takes over, it was only afterwards i felt sick with the panic of what could of happened... Confused She was laying on our bed on her tummy watching tv and I saw she had them in her mouth, when I said 'out your mouth now!' the cheeky monkey flipped on her back and laughed at me, and down they went Shock god it was awful I keep replaying it, thank god I got them out, the relief was absolutely immensely, she was a right state for about 5mins then straight back to her cheeky ittle self! Afterwards i noticed one of the diamonds was missing from the eternity ring and thought id have to check her poo(!) but found it on the bed! A small price to pay!

How did your meeting go with Cjays teachers yesterday? I do hope they were helpful and reassuring? How does Cjay feel about it all now its sunk in? Hope Ajays chest (& sleep) is improving with the inhaler too?

OP posts:
MummysLittleSunbeams · 29/03/2012 15:05

Happy birthday to H, happy birthday to H happy birthday to HHHHH..... happy birthday to H! looking forward to seeing pics of the cheeky monkey!

4ever thank God autopilot took over, its always best to flap afterwards in situations like that! I'd highly recommend doing a St John 1st aid course for children. I did one last year although how much of it I'd remember in the heat of the moment I'm not sure.

Moon hows the clomid making you feel? I've heard the side-effects can be a real PITA.

Vjay ventolin is a rescue inhaler, if his symptoms persist it would be a good idea to ask for a preventative inhaler which would be used twice a day. They kept dd1 on just ventolin for ages but as soon as she had the preventative one I really noticed a difference. It's a bit like constantly fighting a fire but what would be better is to stop the fire from happening in the first place.

Cupcake I too am suddenly feeling huge & am waddling like a duck! Its a real effort now pushing the buggy especially uphill. Are you still considering the name Johnny?

Curly lol at you vomming in dh's bathroom! Grin How many weeks are you now? Do you know the flavour or are you going to find out?

Has Gracie been around at all? Isn't she due soon?

Well I'm now having a minor panic, only 8 weeks to go & we don't have a car seat, all the baby clothes are in the loft, I can't remember what I'm supposed to pack in my hospital bag & we haven't moved dd2 into her new room! Her cot-bed arrived today & I managed to assemble the drawer, I'm leaving the rest of it to dh who, by the way, is a bit of a diy disaster! Oh & I can't find any disposable knickers anywhere, they are either too big or too small!

cupcakefairy · 29/03/2012 20:51

Hi mls :) gosh, scary reading you saying only 8 weeks as I'm about a week before.. Argh! Although I'm sure you'll have yours before me! No won't use Johnny as don't want 2 j names but if it's a boy middle name will def be John as it is in the family loads. We thought we were decided on names but now having doubts! The girls name we want is really a nickname but we don't like any of the names its short for so just having a crisis over whether we should put the nn on the birth cert Confused did you with dd2?

4ever omg can't believe you stayed calm at that how flipping scary! (And I mean the thought of losing the rings as well as what it could have done to s!!)

So so pleased to hear the one who nicks the strawbs has been lurking, I miss her & often think of her x

Neeko · 29/03/2012 21:06

Hi all. Thanks for the lovely messages and texts. She's had a great day. I'm on holiday for 2 weeks as of tomorrow so I'll be back for a catch-up soon.

MummysLittleSunbeams · 29/03/2012 21:14

cupcake yes dd2's name on the cert is the one we call her. Apparently it's been used as a name in its own right since the 16th century. Dd1's middle name is Bea..... just Bea! If it wasn't her mn I'd have no hesitation is using is as a first name if the next one turns out to be a girl. So we are looking for a similar type of name, something traditional, old-fashioned but not over-used. Dh wants a name of one syllable if it's a boy. He's suggested Gill or Gabe, which I'm not over-fond of. I'll allow him the middle name of 'James' though! Grin
