Ooh I like Gil & Gabe mls we've thought about Gilbert.. can't use Gabe as too close to rhyming with our surname.
I think we will use the nn as full name if this is a girl.. I just worry that she'll hate it & not have any options to change it to. Maybe I'll namechange & start a thread in baby names!

Have been frantically packing - flying to Tenerife first thing tomorrow morning and we have just finished packing.

Unfortunately Oscar still up and not happy so not sure how much sleep we will get tonight.

Lol!! So annoying how everything has connotations.. I really like Sybil but could never do it because of fawlty towers! Though Downton has gone some way towards redeeming that name.

About to leave for St Andrews but wanted to say hhey and belated Happy Birthday to Hannah although I texted on the day, didn't get a chance to log on (Easter Disco at school!). Have a fab two weeks break neeko - its been a long term!!

It's snowing here, snowing I tell you. Last week I bought suncream, this week I'll be building snowmen!!!

I've spent 10 minutes getting all the snow off dh's car. It's mad!!!

Ds has now spent 3 nights in his big boy bed! Gone v well so far, slept through to 6 or 6.30 & hasn't got out or fallen out! Sure it could go downhill when he realises he can get out but it's a good start :)

Vjay Hope you've been sledging. We had snow here yesterday but it didn't lie. Nice and sunny though freezing today. well done to cjay for bagging his first munro. I climbed Ben Nevis a number of years ago. It's an awesome feling when you get to the top.

Cupcake well done to your big boy for sleeping in a big bed. Know you're doing it this early because of bump but I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get at least another 6 months out of Hannah in the cot. It's the only place she stays put!

Blue Hope the sun is shining for you in beautiful St Andrews

The birthday girl had a briliant time at her party on Saturday. The sun was shining and she was outside all afternoon with her cousins and was sobbing when we brought her in to blow out her candles - made for interesting video footage!
Her favourite gift is her new scooter. She pends half the day on it saying "Scoot, Scoot" to herself!

Ajay has just learnt to go on his scooter, it's so cute watching his slow progress round the garden on it, but it keeps him happy, and quiet, for some time

Heard from one of my old school friends that she's expecting her third, I'm really excited for her, and what with another friend expecting her first I had a fleeting feeling of broodyness yesterday, but it's gone again

Hey Vjay I'm here & good thanks! Been meaning to post for ages! Big up your Cjay for tackling his first Munro! Bet you were eversuch a proud mummy that day! The scottish countryside is so beautiful I used to love going walking with my dad.. Can't believe the switch in the weather eh? I actually got a tan last wk, now its back to jumpers! Only in Britain eh?!

Talking of which, I've been wondering how Barbies getting on too..? Bet its all a bit of a culture shock... If you're lurking hon, hope its gone smoothly as poss & you're still on for next wk?!

Neeko I did at your description of H not wanting to come into blow out her candles bless her! Sounded like a lovely day, fab to be able to spend it in the garden less mess We'd hoped to have Summers 1st bd in the garden but it was pouring all day! Avidly planning her 2nd now, can't believe its only 7wks seemed like ages between us when we were preg but no time at all really! Summer literally just learnt how to use the scooter we got her at christmas a few days ago, until then she'd wheel it about and stand on it with both feet!

Cupcake hooray to J in his big boy bed! Bet you're pleased that's a milestone ticked off, before baby arrives! Have you got him a 'big brother' t shirt? Too cute!

All good here, looking forward to a nice long weekend with Dh our local mothercare is reopening today after we lost it to the august riots looting bastards Have had a £30 voucher forever so off to purchase a potty and whatever else we find! Gonna wait til after her birthday and our hols before attempting actual training though!
