About time I start a thread! Pom poms still shaking, bumps growing, babies and toddlers talk a plenty, while the support, laughs, hand holds and weebling continues...

Thanks blue. He took the magazine into school today, most kids would be jumping at the chance to show their teachers and friends, but I had to 'encourage' him to do it Grin

cupcakefairy · 18/05/2012 14:32

Aw vjay bless, bet he'll be really proud when his teachers see it.

blue due date was Wednesday, and last Wednesday by scan dates..hmph.

BlueMoon1981 · 18/05/2012 19:17

Yes mls I reckon if no joy this month then sperminating could be well timed for the wedding night Wink af due this weekend....

Thanks girls for joining in my wedding excitement with me, I am a bit Grin atm! I'm just a bit impatient now as we're all organised.

Can anyone shed any light on a weird problem I have? Since yesterday my mouth tastes of salt. My lips, my saliva, all of it. When I eat anything it tastes of salt. When I lick my lips I taste salt. I dont use salt in cooking and rarely eat processed stuff. I drink loads of water so shouldnt be dehydrated. I googled but scared myself. Is it a hormonal thing? I made df laugh, I got in from work and demanded that he kiss me, and then again for a proper one lol and I said do I taste ok, not salty? He looked at me like Hmm

BlueMoon1981 · 18/05/2012 19:19

Oops I forgot to say happy birthday to babybelle Thanks

Neeko · 18/05/2012 20:14

Happy birthday to Babybell Smile Hope you've had a real diva day Grin

Moon Can't believe it's only 3 weeks til your wedding. That's so exciting! I'm actually a bit jealous as I remember that exciting time with real fondness. I hope we'll get to see a picture of the blushing bride.
I really hope the salty taste is a pregnancy symptom!

Cupcake Mucous plug is a really good sign. I have a hunch that you'll have that baby by Sunday night. Smile

MLS twinges?! Exciting!

4ever and blue Totally with you on the holiday packing. We go at the beginning of July and I have a horrible feeling that the girls' summer dresses won't be featuring.

4ever Meant to say I was sorry to hear about your nephew. How is he now?

Off to collapse on the couch. Have a good weekend everyone.

littlebellsmum · 18/05/2012 20:59

V quick message - thank all for the messages - we had quite a normal day but it was lovely iyswim as it was my day with her. At the music class, they sang happy birthday to her and another little girl and neither had a scooby as to what was going on. She opened her present mountain ( almost without excecption cast off's from her siblings !) at about 5pm, got postman pats van but was guuted it wasn't the greedale rocket!! Liked her cake - we found her with her face in it trying to eat the strawberries - sadly were laughing too much to get the camera. I struggle to believe how big she is - held her in a baby cuddle in the mirror before I put her down tonight and she's certainly no baby - but she will always be BabyBelle to me :)
Thanks all - will post more soon. We too are away in early June and I need to do the tescos shop - also am thinking that the summer stuff may never get worn. Had a really cute boden dress for her to wear for her birthday today however she wore it with leggings rather than the matching pants!

BlueMoon1981 · 19/05/2012 17:40

cupcake, mls Hmm

cupcakefairy · 19/05/2012 20:13

Still here, still pregnant!
Just been for 45 min walk around the neighbourhood.. tonight could be the night?! (unlikely)

MummysLittleSunbeams · 19/05/2012 21:41

I'm still here & pregnant too!! Grin

Had some really strong braxtons this evening though.

cupcake tip of the day, get some clary sage oil. My yoga teacher was telling me about it today. You rub it on your bump when in labour & it really brings on the contractions, v potent stuff appaz. I think they sell it in Boots, will investigate tomorrow.

moon have you still got that salty taste?? Any other pregnancy/af symptoms??

BlueMoon1981 · 19/05/2012 22:16

Ohhh I thought being as you were both quiet it meant the little ones were on their way!

Yes mls its driving me mad, everything I eat tastes salty, I'm constantly brushing my teeth/using mouthwash/chewing gum none of which make a difference! Af is definitely on her way though so I dont think its a pregnancy symptom Hmm

MummysLittleSunbeams · 19/05/2012 22:54

How do you know af is imminent? Could the saltiness be a side effect of the clomid?

BlueMoon1981 · 19/05/2012 23:14

I checked up on the Clomid and I couldnt find anything about salty side effects. Also googled saltiness as a pregnancy symptom and its not very common. (I never had it with my 2 lost lo's). As for af, I always get back ache a week before, sore boobs, cramps and I've had them for nearly a week now, so she should be due any day. Plus I'm tired and starving which is always a sign she's imminent. I'm keeping my head in the sand after last month, I felt like an idiot as I was convinced I was pregnant and did so many tests Blush

MummysLittleSunbeams · 20/05/2012 01:33

moon I used to do tests every day from around 8dpo whether I thought I might be pregnant or not so you are most certainly not silly for doing that!! I just know that a bfp is around the corner for you so please try & keep faith.

I'm up with bloody heartburn AGAIN, it will be interesting to see if this is a hairy one what with the amount of nights I'm waking up in pain.

BlueMoon1981 · 20/05/2012 13:36

Af turned up this morning :( funny how when you still expect it, it knocks you sideways a bit. I think I'm most upset that we're a third of the way through the treatment and nothing. But on the plus side I can get drunk at my own wedding Grin

BlueMoon1981 · 20/05/2012 13:37

Oh but the salty taste is still there Hmm

cupcakefairy · 20/05/2012 16:41

moon so sorry evil witch flew in :( but massive upside being able to drink at your own wedding! You'd have to tell everyone why you weren't if not. Come on honeymoon baby!!

Neeko · 20/05/2012 19:43

Moon Sorry to hear that AF is here but you are clearly destined or lots of honeymoon sex! I know it still hurts to have it, but try to concentrate on three weeks time when DfGrin will be DHGrinGrinGrin

Cupcake and MLS Anything??

Barbie Are you there yet?

BlueMoon1981 · 20/05/2012 20:32

Thank you girls :) I am sad obviously, but cant help thinking that maybe its meant to be this way. At least I wont be worrying about miscarrying on my wedding day. And maybe this lo wants a married mummy and daddy. In a day or 2 I'll have bounced back again and will be stupidly excited about our big day :)

No baby news yet??

BlueMoon1981 · 20/05/2012 20:33

impatient even Blush

MummysLittleSunbeams · 20/05/2012 20:37

moon damn & bugger at tew but yay to all that champers you'll be able to quaff on your wedding day. I'd definitely go to your gp to get that salty taste thing checked out.

neeko yes I'm still here, how about you cupcake?

Nothing to report today, no exciting twinges or anything. I bought some clary sage oil & boy does it stink! I had my pre-labour highlights in my hair, I wanted to have a pedi but ran out of time. I'm going to book one for thurs, I'm so convinced things are going to start for me on fri!!

Neeko · 20/05/2012 21:01

Moon Loved the "And maybe this lo wants a married mummy and daddy." and you should be stupidly excited about your big day.Smile

MLS Highlights? Pedi? You do realise that you are going to give birth, not on holiday, yes? Wink

I've just paid the balance on our holiday. 6 weeks tomorrow and the sun shone here today Smile

cupcakefairy · 20/05/2012 21:16

No news here either.. meeting consultant tomorrow armed with my charts to make them go by my date for induction.. which would give my body another week or so to get moving but am trying to be realistic & accept that I will be being induced :(:(

MummysLittleSunbeams · 20/05/2012 21:21

neeko a girls gotta do whatever she can to make herself feel slightly less revolting when she's laying down, covered in her own various bodily fluids, screaming like a banshee & squeezing a baby out of the most embarrassing part of her body!!! Grin

MummysLittleSunbeams · 20/05/2012 21:22

cupcake when do they want to induce you??

littlebellsmum · 20/05/2012 23:00

cupcake Hope you are way too busy to read this but - curry, sex, what ever it takes. Plead with your consultant - you know your body and induction is so not the way forward for your little one - it's the end of the world if it has to happen - look at 4ever, she ( oh, so mad), even seemed to enjoy it! Maybe this little one wants to share her brothers birthday ?
neeko - you made me snort with your holiday comments but such good point's - MLS, when you are doing all that baby stuf, do you think anyone will notice the colour of your toes? I get the highlights for the post birth photos and all but toes??
