Well finally got ds to to sleep, so have the evening to ourselves. Dh is getting relly worried about job situation, which in turn is making me nervy.

going4potty · 23/01/2006 21:00

Hi piffle, ((hugs)) to you and good luck, youve been through a lot and you deserve it

diddle · 23/01/2006 21:15

Ch - don't you worry about that course, we'll all help you. seriously if you get stuck, i'll gladly search the net for some info for you mate.

Piffle - so sorry to hear fo your history, you've been through so much. Heres to a fresh new start to the new year.

Piffle · 23/01/2006 21:18

Thx for the welcome.
I am still shocked myself as conceived ds and dd literally overnight, so these three loses have really broken my confidence a lot.
DD has a rare genetic syndrome (she si fien though) and we had to do a lot of genetic counselling to find out our likelihod of having another child with it and for another child not to be so lightly affected as dd.
Nothing has been easy for no 3 thats for sure.
Am on cd8 just now. Last cycle was 27 days.

jamiesam · 23/01/2006 21:41

Hi

Can I join, I'm just about to start ttc again. Had m/c at 9 weeks just before christmas, now on cd3 so will start trying end of this week. Have two ds's, fell pg within couple of months both times, but not so quick this last time (4 months I think, seemed a hell of a lot longer).

(Hallo rubles - fancy a race to the line???)

slinkstah · 24/01/2006 01:48

hi jamiesam and piffle, i am a lurker here as i graduated a while ago although i will welcome you anyway, as looks like im the only one good luck with ttc

CH- sounds like you had a busy day, its quite normal to feel overwhelmed by everything at the moment, but once you understand the course and the assignment structure a bit more, it will seem alot easier

Charlee · 24/01/2006 04:35

Hi! im oving tomorrow but im gonna be on a 24hr flight and we will have ds with us so no mile high club for me!

We will be bding today and thursday though so hopefully that will be enough.
I'm wishing you all the best of luck. Next time i post i should be in the uk!

HellKat · 24/01/2006 05:50

Morning all.
Welcome {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} to Piffle & Jamiesam.

Well I made a huge mistake last night girls. Because I did'nt bleed yesterday and the pain died down, I realised whilst watching tv, I was happily stroking my tum (and yes there is a teeny bump there). It dawned on me that I still have symptoms (had to bung my maternity bra on this morning). Still not convinced it'll last though but decided to enjoy it for however long I've got it!
Ch- you'll be fine hun. Us women invented multi-tasking dontcha know! It's always daunting at first but you'll sail through.
Big hi to G4P,Pee,KK, Diddle and everyone else too.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

diddle · 24/01/2006 07:10

welcome jamiesam - so sorry to hear of your loss, i saw your thread over on m/c thread.
Good luck with your ttc, fingers crossed for you.

Charlee - where you flying too?? even a day or two after ov you are still able to catch so don't give up hope.

Morning Hellkat - You didn't make a mistake!, your positive thoughts and loving care, will make baby feel happier. I know you didn;t want to get too attached though. I have positive thoughts coming from you, Just annoying that we don't know where this bleeding is coming from, i don't think its baby.
Take it easy.

Coathanger · 24/01/2006 08:33

Morning all! Well I have an early night and we get 2 new ladies!!
G4P - I still hve fingers crossed for DH. Its no wonder he is worried and you are worried too. It will all turn out for the best - I am a great believer that things happen for a reason xxx

Piffle - welcome You are very welcome here! You will love it here! This lot are great support through TTCing adn you'll have a good laugh thrown in too!! xxx

Diddle - thank you my lovely friend! I might have you doing my Sociology reserch for me!! hehe xxx

Jamiesam - welcome to you too !! Happy to have you here also. Like I said to Piffle, you'll get great support here xxx

Slink - thanks hun, I'm sure it will all settle down fine.. It was very daunting yesterday! Did you get your work in ok? xxx

Charlee - mile high club xxx

HK - I told you all PG symptoms in the early days are psychological!! WHo else has instantly got morning sicjness the minute they saw that BFP!! I know I did!! If you believed you weren't PG then the symptoms go, but now you are further along, the symptoms are real. God, I really hope my gut feeling is right and all is okay. Thinking of you xxx

HellKat · 24/01/2006 08:37

Thanks all.
Have decided if everything carries on like this, then I'll hold out until 9 wks (only 2 to go) for another scan. The last mc was at 8 wks so trying to cross bridges.
Anyhoo, enough of that malarky. We might be getting snow this week .

p.s......I sorted popped my name down on the Due in Sept thread. Hope it was'nt a mistake.

kreamkrackers · 24/01/2006 08:48

morning all! i think i was just having one of those days which makes me get upset easily yesterday (and cry). hopefully today will be a better day. i slept for 9 hours last night but somehow don't feel like i've slept a wink!

welcome piffle and jamiesam

hk - enjoy being pg, after all you are! maybe once you start enjoying it you will be able to sleep better and relax more which it better for both you and baby. hopefully you will get some answers soon as to what is causing the bleeding. fingers crossed that you do get the answers you desperately need.

ch - i think it's just nerves but you will get over them and have a great time trainging to be a midwife. also you will make a fantastic midwife as you are good at listening (well reading!) other peoples problems and you make us all feel better.

pepperpot - when are you doing another test then?

peepee - will look out for your results tomorrow.

charlee - i couldn't handle flying like that, i think i'd have to have a weeks break somewhere half way through flying!

g4p - your dh is probably worrying over nothing, i know it's hard but just try to relax and take his mind away from work when he gets home.

everyone else - have a great day whatever you are doing.

Coathanger · 24/01/2006 08:50

Awww thank you KK I would try to be the best Midwife I can, and I have a fantastic role model to follow! This year is just acedemic though - and Access course. I will be studying Sociology, Psychology, Biology and IT. I will get the equivelent to 4 A-levers (including the one I already have) at the end of this - so a lot of work!

OP posts:
kreamkrackers · 24/01/2006 08:53

hk - there's no mistake in putting your name down in the september thread, i know it's hard but you really are pg! therefore you should put your name down and enjoy being pg. and snow yay!

ch - yeah but it'll all be worth it in the end

hope everyone else has a good day xx

FirstNikki · 24/01/2006 09:32

Morning Ladies and a big welcome to Piffle and Jamisam support is great on here. Also very sorry to hear of your losses and complications.

HK -hope they call you today, no bleed yesterday and ease of pain hey..fingers and everthing crossed for you looks like a good sign and the scan is only tomorrow You are right to post on september thread as someone has already said you are pg so why not x

KK - Good luck with DD blood results, you are fine to get upset and let it out its certainly better to do that then keep things bottle up.

CH - believe me the course will get better once you have a routine, try and speak with DH to organise a particular time which you can allocate to your studies without interuption.

Feeling great today decided seeing as I am waking early I might as well use the time wisely so I got up and went for a swim this morning, nice and easy one mind

Happy bd'g to all and the very best of luck with the ttc...hoping for some more BFP's soon xxx

and morning mygirl, diddle, g4p, slink, pepper, charlee and anyone else I may of missed. xx

FirstNikki · 24/01/2006 09:35

mygirl hope you are ok ?x

HellKat · 24/01/2006 09:37

Thanks all.
If I don't get a call by this afternoon saying they want to see me, then I'm cancelling the scan for tomorrow (and the op). I'll leave it until I'm 9 wks (only 6+5 now) then ask for one. There's no point in getting another one before as I had one early with the last pg and that still went wrong. Leaving it up to fate.

Is it just me or is it blooming cold today!!! Brrrrrrr.
Nikki- great to see you on an Oct thread!
KK- great to see on the Sept thread too.

Coathanger · 24/01/2006 11:07

You are all very quiet this morning! Where are you all?

OP posts:
peepee · 24/01/2006 11:32

I'm here CH.

I have just caught up on the thread. Thansk for all the positive vibes re: testing tom. You all probably guessed it, I tested this morning. My excuse was that the recurrent m/c clinic was open today so just incase I tested. I couldn't wait. I'm a bad girl... Anyway as suspected BFN. It's only cd27 of 28 or 29 or 30 depends which month I am looking at. It is all very confusing. Never mind. Will definately stop progesterone tom. and test again.

HK how are you doing today. I am convinced on my theory regarding the bleeding. You'll be OK and so will your beanie. xxx

Oh, I got the sofa covers on and they are still a little creased. Will try ironing them whilst they are on. I hope the feathers don't burn.

Coathanger · 24/01/2006 11:40

pmsl @ your sofa covers!! images of you ironing them whilst on the sofa!!

Anyway for BFN, but yuo ever know. Would the progesterone give a false neg? I think not but I might be wrong. I realy want you to get your BFP soon hun.

going4potty · 24/01/2006 12:15

Hi all quick post to say hello, welcome jamie and everyone thanks for your kind words, will post later, HK good luck

FirstNikki · 24/01/2006 12:16

peepee, when your ironing the sofa don't tip your iron pointing downwards else the water will come out...

FirstNikki · 24/01/2006 12:22

p.s. peepee sorry about bfn but still a few days to go so until then be positive x

ch- do you have to go into college today?
