sorry my last post took longer than thought and I missed your post rubles. So sorry to hear of your loss these are great ladies and offer wonderful support. drs only ask you to wait for 1st af for dating, so I think really it is up to you on a personal level when you feel you are ready. I waited for first af to check all ok. my thoughts are with you x

going4potty · 23/01/2006 11:54

Hello all hope your ok pepper and hk, rubes welcomes, only a quick post from work. KK hope your dd is ok too. Probably talk later

diddle · 23/01/2006 12:37

Rubles - so sorry to hear fo your miscarriage. how are you feeling??

I personally would wait until after at least 1 AF just so your body has a good clear out and any small retained products that may be undetectable on a scan can be removed. I tried before my period after my first miscarriage and caught staright away, then lost that pregnancy too, i don't think my body was ready for it.
But i do know of some people who did the same and have lovely babies now. I think it is personal choice, there is no reason why you can't try again, i did read somewhere that 6% of pregnancies that are conceived straight away fail. so its may be worht thinking about it a litte more first.
Hoep that hasn't made you sad, just wanted to give you my opinion.
I really hope you're ok and have a lot of support at home.

peepee · 23/01/2006 12:44

Morning ladies, WHOOPS good afternoon.

Rubles welcome... Sorry about your loss
Regarding trying again b 4 AF.................. My advice would be GO FOR IT, if you feel up to it. Loads of women on other threads have and have been successful. No reason why it shouldn't be for you.

I will be testing wednesday am.... really early. I start work at 7 so will be peeing at about 0520.

CH hope your day went well. I bet you have a headache trying to take in all sorts of info.....

Have been ironing all my sofa covers this morning and it hasn't made a blind bit of difference to them. They are still creased. Have now given up. They will be put back on creased. No-one should noticed unless their backsides have eyes.

diddle · 23/01/2006 13:03

peepee - will be thinking about you wednesday morning, maybe not at 5.20am, but 6.30 when i finally wake you'll be in my thoughts, good luck!!!!

FirstNikki · 23/01/2006 13:24

good luck peepee will be looking out for the result x have you tried putting the covers on the sofa then ironing the covers ?? just an idea?

HellKat · 23/01/2006 15:29

Hiya all.
Rubles-{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}} great to see you hun, glad you found us! Hope you're bearing up as well as can be expected.
Hiya everyone {{{{{{hugs}}}}} back at you all.
I rang Julia earlier and unfortunately there's not much she can do herself apart from re-scan me when I measure 20mm (Weds) but because of all the blood loss etc she decided to chase up a registrar to see what they suggested. They want to refer my case to a consultant so I'm waiting on a call from Julia to let me know what they've decided. Hopefully I'll find out whether ot not a) when I can know for sure that the baby's ok and b) whether or not surgery can go ahead.
I can't wait until I can post some news on here one way or another lol. Every day it's just "Being in limbo" posts.

pepperpots · 23/01/2006 15:54

C xx

HellKat · 23/01/2006 16:15

Thanks Pepp, me too!
Could it be implantation bleeding you think?

pepperpots · 23/01/2006 16:18

tbh hk i think im just clutching at straws say this isnt af this would be cd37 and had bfn sat too. But i dont know whats happening i have just ordered more tests of internet they should be here tomorrow so if there is no more bleeding i will test tomorrow.
C xx

HellKat · 23/01/2006 16:20

Personally if you're just lightly spotting and it's not as heavy as a period, I'd test anyway. Then again I've always been addicted to sticks I can piddle on

pepperpots · 23/01/2006 16:23

i would hate to hazard a guess what i have spent on tests this month even though they are cheap i have been known to do two a day just in case but i had af pains most of the weekend and since i started bleeding nothing and my boobs are starting to get sore too
C xx

diddle · 23/01/2006 16:26

I'd test too Pepperpots, definitly, i'm tempted to test now, just to see that line. and i know my result! they are so addictive, how sad that i miss them.

FirstNikki · 23/01/2006 16:26

pepper which tests are you buying online?? I had some onecall ones and didn't get +ve test on those ones

pepperpots · 23/01/2006 16:34

pepperpots · 23/01/2006 16:35

those of you who use digital testers, I found that boots own brand were exact replica of clearblue just diff packaging and it gives you a plus sign instead of the words pregnant and you got 2 tests for the price of 1 clear blue . Also asda's own seem to have been accurate too.. just some personal info on tests...hope you don't mind..

kreamkrackers · 23/01/2006 17:21

hello, dd had bloods done. they found it hard to find her veins because of her long stay in icu and all the other hospital trips she has. she wasn't sick though but did scream the place down it makes me feel like crying myself when i see her go through all these things. i know it wasn't much compared to everything she's been through but it's another thing she has to have done. oh well at least it is over and done with now. results take about 2 weeks.

rubles - i think you should try when you feel ready. but after your mc you might not clear fully until your next af and it would be horrible to go through all that again. although diddle read it only happens in 6% of cases. it's up to you at the end of the day. you will get the support here whatever you decide.

ch - how was induction?

hk - hopefully they will hurry up and give you some answers.

peepee - good luck for wednesday, fingers crossed for you.

pepperpot - some people do have slight bleeding whilst being pg and deffo have sore boobies so i hope you get your bfp tomorrow.

nikki - you've been talking to these people longer than me yet i still can't stop telling everyone here whats going on (i think they're a great bunch of people i like to share things with!) so you deffo have to stay.

everyone else - hope you're all having a great day

HellKat · 23/01/2006 17:32

Still no call so guess they'll call back in the morning.
Off to get the dishes done (not much to do as dp decided to blitz the kitchen top to bottom while I was having a nap!). Off to grab a bath to so take care all, talk tomorrow.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
KK- Glad it was'nt too bad, still horrid though.
CH- wahooooooooo first day over with! Well done x

Hi all!

Sorry I haven't been on much but I've been mega busy, what with college all day then having to catch up from having had a weekend away and today out and about.

I hope everyone is okay and doing well. I don't have much to report really. College was fine but now I am worried I will fail miserably It all looks so complicated and hard work and I'm also worried about juggling college, assignments and family life. Not sure I'll manage it but I'll give it a go.

I expect I am the last one on here tonight so I will say nighty night to you all and see you tomorrow xxxx

Hi
I'm ttc again after dd born 10/02 miscarriage at 9 weeks 11/03 ectopic emergency laparotomy (tube lost) 11/04 and miscarriage at 6 weeks Dec 05

Had gynae surgery 09/05 for ovarian adhesion (complication of ectopic) and now my cycle has finally returned to normal
Gynae has given me clean bill to try and says should be plain sailing
With dp working away 5.5 days a week, not so sure myself...
I also have a 12 yr old ds from previous relationship.
Good luck all
