oinker try a ovulation microscope, you will be able to track your estrogen surge which happens just before you OV

oinker - i agree with your plan. you do what you think is best it's your body at the end of the day. i hardly see dd consultant, just before her second operation i was told she wasn't going to have it for another six months. went back six weeks later and was told she was booked in next week for her operation!
it was good in a way though as i didn't have as many sleepless nights thinking about it, but i know what you mean about having to tell each doctor what's been going on. dd has a book of notes (about 5 inches thick!) and it drives me mad that they don't even have a quick look over before calling us in. i really hope your plan works for you.

Hello all, oinker sounds like a plan, ch keep at the studying and everyone hope your all ok and good luck. Think im cycle day 21 and im already dying to test, too early i know, but i could do with some great news at mo . Still having vivid dreams, the jamie bulger thing is haunting me a bit. The poor thing kept getting up when they threw bricks at him and when they droped him on his head and walked away from him at the start of his ordeal he ran to them cause he thought theyd help him!!! i dont know whats come over me, but im sickened so much that its haunting me in the day too. I wish there was something i could say or do My colleegue and i were saying how awfully helpless it makes you feel, because there isnt much we can do. Sorry im going on but i cant get it out of my head and keep welling up. Do you think this is normal, bit worried about my mental state at mo.

it's probably just all the stress you've been under g4p coming out in your dreams. it was awful what happened to jamie bulger and sadly there is more of it going on in the world. it does make you wonder what the world is coming to with things like this going on in it. you really do need to relax at the moment and take your mind off things. try going for a nice walk in the countryside or something similiar (a cheap day out which helps you relax). i hope you get your bfp, i hope everyone on here does you all deserve it. i wish i could wave a magic wand and make everyone in the world happy.

Well of to bed, working full day tomorrow, just hope it doesnt become a habit, im really missing thetimewith ds. You dont realise it but even thoughyour exhausted and running round like a headless chicken in the morning, you still get to talk to them and have a love .

Oink- Go with your body hun. You know it better than anyone. Trust your gut instincts.
G4p- my dreams have always been really vivid, before I ever got pg with ds1 too. Try writing a dream diary. the second you wake, write down any dreams in a notepad and date them. After a good few weeks, couple of mths etc, read them back. Sometimes you find that they've given you a hint at the future. Also when you read them back after a while, you can tie in the crappy dreams with things that have been going on around you at that time but you did'nt notice. Pretty interesting.
Feel all fluey here still, felt like it all day yesterday and just wanted to sleep. So geeting the last of cleaning donw this morning, waiting for letting agent to go then back to my bed!

oinker go with your plan, I would probably use an ov predictor to try and guage it a little better, buts thats a personal choice. I hope you get your bfp soon x I am sorry I don't understand or know about taking progesterone so I will read up on it later

g4p dreams could be due to the stress you have been having lately, try and get some time for yourself and recharge your batteries.

hellkat. thats good news about the operation being so soon but scary too.

oinker, its frustrating seeing different drs and having to explain all over again. I don't know much about progesterone just that I had low levels on day 21 which indicated I wasn't ovulating.

ch I have some of those books but am moving house next weeks and my books are in the loft shed and a friends loft so no idea where they are! Will have a look when I move. Your local library will have them too. For 70p my local library will get books from other libraries for you.

going4potty. I only ever started to have violent scary dreams when I was pregnant, so maybe....?

I got an appointment for a mammogram in April! Almost 6 months after seeing a consultant. I was told I was having an ultrasound but they have changed their minds. You can't have mammograms if pregnant but they said they would change it if I was. I can't believe it takes 6 months. The initial appointment was 2 weeks. Maybe its a way of making it look like theres no waiting lists.

Jane- You confused me hun, what op? lol. My appt at the breast clinic was a disaster! It was a different consultant (resembled a terrorist tbh), did'nt even bother examining me jsut gave me a sarcastic nod when asked has it changed shape, to which I told him it now filled my boob! Only because I let him have it did he refer me for a scan which is now Feb 22nd. He was a total arse! Nothing like my previous one. He did'nt check my history otherwise he would've seen there's alot of cancer in my family. Told my mum and dp I'll point blankly refuse to see him if it's him next time and not my normal one. I was fuming. Can't believe it's taking you that long to get seen hun. I hope it goes quickly for you. Any chance of ringing for a cancellation?

Thanks for all your responses. You guys really help. I am going to get straight to it. Gonna check out the ovulation microscope on the internet and will purchase some form of it or another today.

Diddle how are you feeling today? R U still bunged up?
I have an ulcer at the side of my tongue at the mo and it is killing.

No-one has mentioned anything about the little miracle baby in Brazil (I think)... She , (ANGEL) was found floating along a river in a bag. Two guys pulled out the bag thinking it may contain some sort of animal as it was moving and found the baby instead. It was all on video.

Anyway, am tidying up as I have a freind coming round tonight.. She has just ended an 8 yr relationship. No doubt I will be down the ppub by 6...

oinker I have used an ovulation microscpe and found it really confusing. Also got some rubbish cheap ov sticks from ebay too. I know use the ridiculously expensive clearblue digital

Well ladies ive been very domestic and made apple crumble, but it didnt have a gooey filling which i love, a bit dry, any ideas?? All ido is chop peeledapples add sugar and a bit of water.

Morning all.
Well done G4P!!!! Sounds about right to me. That's how I do my filling virtually. I don't bother with water though. I do whack a bit of cinnamon on top of the apples. MMMMMM. Have you tried turning the heat down slightly and leaving them in longer? Mine's normally in about 1/2hr-3/4 on a lowish heat and the middle comes out with the apple chunks there slightly but more mushy.

G4P - i made crumble on Monday night, I didn't have any cooking apples, so i used normal ones, i softened them in some water and sugar, then put them in the oven with the crumble on the top. It wasn't mega gooey but wasn't dry either, was scrummy, might make another, so quick and easy.

Bugger!!!!!!! Forgot that was on. Dammit! I really wanted to see that too. I'm prepared to be shot down here but from the advert I saw, I'm totally against prolonged bf!!! It's gross. There is no way in hell would some 4+ child be attatched to my boobs. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. There's no need for it imho.
